Note: I don’t own these wonderful characters. Okay, maybe some. If I choose to add OC’s.

ARIES: His hands banged against the ground. It had happened again. He was overthrown by that oh-so-perfect guy again. Why did this keep happening? Maybe the stars shown down on him wrong. Ph! Like that’s happening. But why did failure keep arising?

Koops stood up. He had been bested over and over in this Glitz Pit. Wouldn’t someone for just once be worse than him? He had been at level 9, but he lost, and lost to the 10, 11, 12, 13, and now 14 level player. Koops knew he was getting worse, but he always did the same sure-fire thing. Hopefully, he could beat the fifteenth level enemy and branch his way back up to victory.

He’d done it once before. Twice, even. When he was with Mario, four long years ago. But he was all alone now. He’d really wanted to get up to the fifth level. That was where Yoshi was. One of Mario’s other partners, Yoshi was. Koops had always fairly liked him, but he’d wanted to know who was better on the battlefield.

It looked like he wasn’t going to be there anytime soon. He was at level 14 now, and he’d have a long way to go before he could see Yoshi again. But not like just SEE him, he could do that in the stands. Koops wanted to know that Yoshi knew he was out there, doing his best. That woul make him feel good.

At his room, Koops sat in his favorite chair in front of his favorite appliance: his personal laptop computer. He punched in his 15 letter/digit password and logged on to .

He looked up a topic that had always had a small effect on his life: astrology. He liked to believe it was the stars’ fault for whatever happened in his life. But he again and again forgot his sign. And you can’t really get an accurate knowing for yourself if you don’t know your sign, can you?

He went to the Astrology page, and looked up his birthday. He typed in ‘April 6’ and hit enter. He’d loved that the Mushrrom Kingdom did that. A box showed up with a curved V glyph and a five letter word: ARIES. Now he remembered. He was an Aries!

He went to a free e-mailed horoscope, submitted his facts and full name: KOOPINGTON MARCH KOOPA, and waited on his e-mail page. Soon, a new message showed up. He clicked it eagerly. It read: Dear Koops, we are glad you have joined ’s daily horoscope. Along with your name, day, and year of birth, we will send you personalized horoscopes every day! Please enjoy today’s horoscope!

Today, the Aries will feel defeated. The Aries is being seemingly put down, and only wants to be known. This will be resolved eventually, most likely tomorrow. The Aries will feel tense at work today. In love, Aries will be normal and have no big happenings.

Whoa. This horoscope WAS true. This was Koops’ part time job now (since he and his friend Koopook were co-mayors, and today Koopook was working), and he did feel tense. Maybe, just maybe this e-mail thing can work.

As a special worker at the factory, it was Kooper’s job to take care of all of the special horoscopes for 1/10 of the Aries subscribers. And man, with at least 117 Aries total, he didn’t get much rest. An accurate horoscope would make or break any sensitive, crazy soul out there.

“Kooper! Aren’t you lucky,” said his nice boss, a red Yoshi.

“Why am I lucky?” he said. He had to get to work; he had 6 more Aries to do.

“You have now got the job to do another Aries. Koopington March Koopa, A.K.A. Koops. I suggest you start now, bud,” the boss said, and went back to his office.

Kooper honestly liked his job. He himself was an Aries- he was born on April 6. He flipped through this new Koopa’s files. Hey, Kooper thought, this guy’s an Aries, he’s a Koopa, born April 6! Me too! He was even born in the same year I was! For a minute, he was surprised, but he had to get this guy’s horoscope down. Until he checked the last page: BEGINNING HOROSCOPE: COMPLETE.

Kooper relaxed, and went back to work. Some Boo was and Aries born on March 30, and he was a little finicky. Kooper was glad that he didn’t care if his horoscope came in the morning.

Kooper himself had a subscription to , too. But someone else had to do it. It wouldn’t be fun or even reasonable if he did it.

Nobody would even know that Kooper Penny Koopaleh was even a worker. The only other worker you ever saw was the boss. Kooper assumed that there were at least a hundred other workers. There were supposedly ten for each of the twelve signs, right? But Kooper had other things to worry about. Like if your birth year of 1988 made you able to win a match or stay cool at home today for that dang Boo. Kooper started typing immediately.

The first thing that Lemmy thought of when he woke up was: HOROSCOPE! I HAVE to know how this week is going to be! He routinely woke at 12:00 noon and went to bed at 12:00 midnight. So did the other Koopalings. Big deal. But Lemmy was excited. His weekly horoscope from was coming in today.

He rushed to his laptop computer, quickly went to his e-mail, and grinned. His weekly, accurate horoscope was here. Mwa ha ha. With this special horoscope, he could ask a question and see how the week, according to what he asked, would go.

He typed in, ‘Is this a good week for plotting revenge?’ and hit Enter. A screen flashed up, saying, If you are out to plan revenge on somebody, you should be very careful. Think your plan long and hard and think of ways to prevent the one from avoiding your prank.

Yeah, the computer thought it was a revenge as in prank. But no. It was worse. Revenge as in, annihilation. Oh, yes. Mario and Luigi would pay.

Author’s Note: How do you like my Aries chapter? I know, an astrology/Mario story is weird, but I’m putting good hours into this, so respect it! RESPECT! Anyway, what do you think of it so far? I only put the ARIES:… at the beginning because I’m going to have Aries and other in future chapters. All in all, this should be no more than 14 chapters long. Maybe 26 if I add Chinese zodiac. Should I? Please review!
