Me Against the World
a story by Jazz
Hey! Jazz is back with a new story! This probably sucks, but I have to try. Review if you feel the urge. Correct some of my errors. I'm using a keyboard that sucks, in my opinion.
Sakura glanced down at the beige color of the carpet. Blood spotted the floor, soaking in to leave permanent (sp) damage. There was no way she'd ever be the same.
Without a second glance at the cold bodies of her parents, Sakura left the unfamiliar house and headed home, towards her apartment. She was wanted for practice with Sasuke, Naruto, and Kakashi in five minutes, but Sakura could care less. Her eyes lacked all emotion.
She didn't report her parents dead. Let someone else stumble across their bodies. She slipped out of her blood-stained clothing and curled up under her blankets. The team could do without her today. It's not like they needed her or something. No, they could manage without her.
She felt more at ease than she had in a while. She gave way to unconsciousness, hoping her mind would give up on the thinking.
Deidara had killed her parents in front of her eyes. Sakura had stared emtionless. Now Sakura had a mission. She wasn't going to allow herself anything until she had found, tortured, and killed Deidara. Deidara was her new target.
Kakashi Pov:
I lazily walked up to the bridge, preparing myself for another long, dreary practice session. Naruto and Sasuke were bickering as usual.
"Sasuke, I'm telling you, Sakura has to be sick," Naruto was yelling. Sasuke shook his head.
"Dobe, she most likely didn't feel like seeing your annoying face today. I wouldn't blame her, either," Sasuke smirked as Naruto started seething again. Naruto saw me and glared.
"Sensei, you're late. Sakura's not here,"Naruto stated the obvious. Sasuke smacked him on the back of the head.
"Kakashi, Sasuke, Naruto, have you seen Sakura?" Tsunade's voice made us all turn around. She looked extremely worried. We all shook our heads simontaneously.
"I think the three of you should go find her. This morning we stumbled across her parents' bodies in an abandoned house outside of the village. Her jacket was there," Tsunade's face held true worry.
"We will," I reassured the Fifth Hokage. She turned around and ran off for the hospital.
Second Person (couldn't do other way):
They trudged toward's the pink-haired girl's apartment, dreading the result Kakashi had a feeling she would be crying so hard she'd pass out. When they got there, they were in for a surprise.
"So, do we just open the door and walk in?" Naruto asked nervously. Everyone stared at the dobe. Kakashi knocked lightly on the door. The door opened to reveal an irritated Sakura.
"What do you want?" she snapped, glaring at the three boys who'd woken her up. She was in her night clothes, a t shirt and shorts. She hadn't bothered to wash the blood off of her face before she'd fallen asleep, so her face was red.
"Are you alright?" Kakashi asked her, looking worried. She glared at the three still.
"I would rather the three of you leave me the hell alone, or else," Sakura hissed. Sasuke, in lightning speed, reached out and touched a chakra place in her neck, rendering her unconscious. The other two looked at him oddly.
"Come on and help me get her in. She watched it happen. The look in her eyes was just like mine. She really needs a lot of help," Sasuke explained, dragging the unconscious Sakura into her room. He gently laid her down on her bed, and Kakashi came in with a wet wash cloth. He washed her face off, and Naruto watched, feeling utterly helpless.
"She's never going to be the same," Kakashi murmured to himself. Grimly, Sasuke nodded.
That's when they heard the sentence Sakura uttered in her sleep.
"I'm gonna kill you, Deidara."
that was bad, but I'm being told to go to bed. See ya later!!
