A/N: I have wanted to do this for a while. I love the couple of Anakin and Padmé, and I think this will help me get back into writing and also help me brainstorm my ideas for other stories, as terrible as that sounds…

So I will have short vignettes of snippets of the Anakin/Padmé lifestyle, starting today.

Title: Japor

Era: The Phantom Menace

She was sleeping, and Anakin made sure of it, peaking from the small crack in the door to find her on her side, breathing as she slept. He thought that if the boys that he was friends with knew that he was doing this—watching someone, he means—that they would think him to be weird.

Too late.

He trotted back to his room, snuggling under the covers, making his sleep pants bunch up. He muttered a small goodnight to the deactivated Threepio. He noted that the sand storm was still raging, for he could hear it outside, still blowing.

Suddenly he hoped that it the storm would blow on, and the Jedi, Padmé, and even the strange water creature would stay longer, rather than the short time that they had spent here.

Reaching over to his nightstand, he grabbed his welding knife, and small piece of wood.
