Now, here's the first chapter of the sequel and sorry for its short-ness. Hope you like it!! ((hehe...hope -pokes chapter title-))

chapter 1

Hope

"This sucks, yeah..." Deidara muttered, pacing about the hotel room. Sakura had just gotten back and now that Tsunade saw her, there was a chance that the mission would fail.

"Let's change the subject. Did you find the Koritaka?" Sakura's voice was cold, the result of what had just happened with Sasuke. But, this was only on the outside. Inside, it felt like she was dying. She didn't know how to react, if to tell Deidara, or what she should think of it. She hadn't felt anything like this in...ten years. Since before he left.

"Oh, yeah!" His eyes widened, thinking of his plan. "But, I don't think you'll agree to it, yeah..." He casted an unsure glance to his left where the desk resided, mounds of papers upon it. Sakura grabbed the top ones, which had the words: Final Plan!! written in a messy fashion. After a couple minutes of reading them, she smirked.

"This has to be one of your best plans, Deidara. It's ruthless and sure to work, especially by what you tell me about his character. Congratulations. This is the first plan you've made that doesn't need to be altered, or changed completely." She folded the papers and, within seconds, they started to burn. "Don't worry, I already have it memorized." She then laid on her bed. After a few precautionary minutes, Deidara decided to speak.

"What are you doing, yeah?" Sakura cracked one eye open to look at him. She then smirked.

"Going over my lines." Thats when it hit him. The full blow of his plan. She'd...she'd...go through with it.

"You don't have to do this, Saku-chan, yeah..."

"I'll do it if it helps us get the Koritaka. Which it will. So I'm going to do it." She snapped, turned her head slightly on the pillow so she could glare at Deidara full on. "Besides...its what kunoichi do."

"That was unexpected..." Tsunade said, dumfounded, staring off out the window, into the dark streets.

"...hai." For once, Naruto had nothing to say. Surprising, to say the least. Its just that..at that moment, his stomatch churned with pure shock, pure disgust. Some for Sakura, okay, I lied, most for Sakura, but she was still dear to him. Atleast, that what he kept telling himself. She was so cold, so evil. This wasn't his Sakura. No, he was sure of it. Something must've happened to her. Something currently irreversible.

Sasuke returned inside.

"Hey, Sasuke, what happened?" Naruto didn't have the heart to be mean to Sasuke now. It was too hard for him, especially with what just occured.

"She wouldn't listen." Sasuke decided that he shouldn't tell them of the kiss. Not yet.

"But we did get a vital piece of information, ne?" Tsunade tried to look on the brightside, drinking sake as she went.

"What would that be?" Naruto glumly asked. His tone was, surpringly, calm and soft. Not brash and obnoxious.

"Well, we know what Sakura was doing the past three years and-" down went two bottles, her speech getting more slurred, "we know that Sakura and Deidara are responsible for the death of the Hatoku clan members."

"Thats correct." Tsunade glared at the Uchiha.

"Who asked for your damn commentary?!" Sasuke took a cautious step backward. Oh geez, here come the mood swings. He could see the rage behind her eyes and decided to excuse himself, before there was only Itachi left in the Uchiha clan.

"I see that you have something to discuss with Naruto, so I'll leave you two in peace." He quickly bowed before she could speak and walked out the door. He knew it was a bluff but anything to get him out of harm's way was good for him.

Tsunade chuckled, looking at Naruto.

"Now that the Uchiha left, I do have a matter to discuss." The fully-sober Tsunade smirked. Damn. She was a good actress.

"About what, Tsunade-sama?" Tsunade flinched. Naruto never used formalties, especially with her. He must be worse off than she thought.

"I suppose you've have pain in your head, as though it feels like its burning?" Naruto nodded, abit scared that she knew. "Okay, thats good. We'll begin in a couple hours." Naruto's face contorted in confusion. "Begin the examination of your body, Naruto..."

Woo! Finished! Yay! Well, aren't you all happy about the SEQUEL?! I sure am. But, I am pretty pissed at Sasuke in the manga right now. He..he KILLED Ita-kun! I cried! -sob-
