More and More monthes past and Matsumoto could feel the child ready to leave her body. She looked to her taichou with slight fear before turning away and being forcably lead by the fukutaichou of the first division tears slipping her cheeks and she knew her secret was gone.

"Yamamoto-soutaichou! I want to know why my fukutaichou is being taken away!!" Hitsugaya yelled without any respect as he normally forced himself to talk to this man. He glared with furry his hand itching at to touch his sword and just take Matsumoto back.

"Hitsugaya taichou of the 10 division, I suggest you hold your tounge. Matsumoto is being taken for medical reasons." Yamamoto said.

"What medical reasons?! She's been fine." Hitsugaya defended, but he just had to question himself. Had he paid enough attention to her to even notice a change? Maybe he glanced over her medical report instead of reading through it properly, no he had never seen it. Then that means Matsumoto was hiding something from him.

"Matsumoto-fukutaichou has been pregnant for near seven monthes and you are saying that you had no idea." The first division fukutaichou question as Matsumoto tossed and turned to get away from him tears now streaming down her face. The moment she got free she froze her body was falling fast. The pain was instant. She rolled to her back holding her stoumach more tears streaming in her eyes as she killed her baby. That was all she knew now as all the people yelled and screamed rushing around her working to save what was lost. Slowly she closed her eyes wishing death to herself.

Hitsugaya sat next to bed she laid in shock still trapped in his stoumach. "Why did you not tell me?" He muttered.

"Hitsugaya taichou?" Nanao stepped into the room with Kyouraku promptly behind her. "How is she?"

"Asleep." He said simply looking to the floor. "You both knew." Hitsugaya stated. Her did not need to question what was fact, Matsumoto told Nanao everything, but if only he were that lucky.

"She was afraid, she told us what happened between you and she was just afraid you would not accept it." Nanao defended.

"Why would I not accept it?! That night was my mistake!!" Hitsugaya snapped standing from his chair.

"Not in her eyes." Kyouraku said stepping in front of Nanao. "Matsumoto said that night, she felt she used you. You were hurting from Hinamori's death and she wanted you, physically and emotionally. Ever since Gin left for Huece Mundo she has been falling in love with you." Kyouraku explained in a calm respectful manner so uncommon to him.

"She blamed herself?" Hitsugaya fell back into the chair. He gazed over to Matsumoto and no matter how much he tried to hold them back tears fell from his eyes. His hand taking hers and holding it for his own life.

"Do you forgive me?" The faint mumble was heard.

"What? You have nothing to be sorry for."Hitsugaya said not noticing Kyouraku and Nanao leave.

"But I killed my baby." She muttered.

"Our baby," He corrected.

"Hitsugaya-taichou and Matsumoto-fukutaichou would you like to meet your new baby girl." Unohana entered the room holding the small child. Due to the early birth it was not fully developed in size, but still able to survive. She walked over seeing Matsumoto who just seemed too shocked that the child was even alive. While Hitsugaya was intent to see the child he had never known of. Looking over the white skin and small hands and body. Holding out his finger he felt a small hand touch it. "You can hold her." Unohana said and laughed lightly as she watched the fear enter his eyes. "It's fine" She said. "Just support the head." She said. Hitsugaya was careful with the child his strong arms holding the delicate being. Unohana smiled at the new father. Looking to the new mother she just seemed shocked.

"The baby is alive?" She questioned looking with wide eyes at Hitsugaya's back. She watched him turn and seeing the small bundle in his arms she was still struck with joy. She lifted her arms silently asking for Hitsugaya to hand her the baby. She looked at the child seeing the bald head. "Toshiro?" She said.

"I know," He said looking over her shoulder.
