"Good evening Blaze." A tall man with an American accent said to a shorter woman.

"Good evening, Professor Williamson." replied the woman who was Australian.

"Blaze I am here to offer you a job," he paused as the woman looked up with curiosity. "In America, I am lacking good staff. You are one of the best Marine Biologist in Australia and I would like to offer you this once in a lifetime opportunity to work at my Californian-based facility." Professor Williamson layed out his offer hoping Blaze would accept. Blaze thought about it, it was a great opportunity and the pay was great but would Sera like it?

"Professor Williamson I would really like to accept this offer," "But," the Professor cut-in.

"But I need to discuss this with my daughter, Sera; this could have a big impact on her social life. I just want what’s best for her." Professor Williamson understood the situation- He had to do the same with his daughter and son. Hopefully Sera were more understanding.

"I understand completely Blaze, but do get back to me A.S.A.P. it is a very important matter."

"I will Professor." The meeting was over and Blaze decided to go home. Her daughter should be home from school. They finished early today being the last day of the second school term.

When Blaze arrived home she saw her daughter lounging on the couch talking on the phone. Blaze mouthed to her daughter “We need to talk.” Sera told the person she was talking to that she needed to go.

"Your home early mum." the dark-haired teenager said to her blonde mother.

"Serenity I have something important to talk to you about."

"Fire away mum."

"I got a job offer,"

"Uhuh,"

"In America."

"Ok,"

"It’s a high paying job. I would be working at the Williamson Marine Biology Centre, in California."

"Wow that could be fun." Serenity did not know what else to say.

"Well do you think I should take it or not?" Blaze was curious to know what her daughter wanted.

"I don't know mum, it sounds like fun but I need to think about it. Can I sleep on it?" Truthfully Sera did not know what she wanted and needed to think. "That’s fine Sera."

That night Serenity tossed and turned in her sleep. Tomorrow she would speak to Demetry and Cecilia and maybe grand-mama. She needed advice on what to do.
