It was a beautiful spring day in Konoha, the birds were singing the children were playing and Tenten was wearing make up and a dress….wait…WHAT?!

Tenten was walking angrily towards the training ground not noticing the guys checking her out. She was wearing a white dress that went just above the knee, it had a golden dragon print on the left hip going up, her black high heel shoes clicked as she continued to walk, her dark chocolate locks in a long French braid and a light amount of make up on her face.

Neji frowned; he was sitting under a tree and watched Lee as rubbed his arms. He agreed to train with Lee until Tenten arrived; he had been training with Lee for almost three hours now….where the hell is Tenten?!

He looked up to the entrance of the training ground and saw a girl, white dress, black heels, make up and a long French braid….damn! Neji stared and noticed her come onto the training ground.

“LEE, I’M GONNA KILL YOU!!” Tenten screamed getting ready to pummel Lee into pudding… (Lavender: Hmmm pudding!) “AHHH! MOST YOUTHFUL TENTEN WHAT HAVE I DONE TO YOU?!” Lee shouted hiding behind his beloved sensei.

Tenten glared daggers at him and pointed to herself, “The make up you got me won’t come off! The dress you gave me for the mission, zipper is stuck and worst of all, I couldn’t get my hair into buns because I can’t find my hair pieces!” Tenten shouted getting ready to kill Lee.

By now Neji had come to see what all the noise was about. He got a good view of the ‘girlified’ Tenten. He stared; a noise bleed was going to happen pretty soon.

Tenten by now noticed Neji and blushed crimson. She turned her attention back to her ‘victim’ of the day. “Lee, say your prayers!” Lee made a run for it with Gai for the very ‘youthful’ sensei had become slightly terrified by ‘Konoha’s most youthful flower’ anger.

“Tenten….what are you wearing?” Neji asked as calmly as possible. Tenten sighed and said, “The mission you couldn’t attend to yesterday was one of those missions where I had to wear a dress….Lee had to pick stuff for me because Sakura, Ino and Hinata were on missions.” Neji nodded and said, “Uhuh, so why are you still wearing a dress?”

Tenten frowned and said, “Lee broke the zipper when he was giving it to me and the make up was un washable….I have to wait until Sakura or Ino get here so they can get this stuff off of me!”

“Continue,” Neji said quite amused by Tenten’s expression and especially how cute she looked in a dress and without the buns.

“Well, I can’t destroy the dress because it’s a rental luckily I can return it tomorrow,” Tenten said sighing. “That means I can’t do training because of the stupid dress!”

Neji frowned and said, “Well, you scared away Lee and Gai-sensei so I guess training is over.” Tenten sweat dropped and said, “Umm yeah sorry about that.”

“So…what are you going to do now?” Tenten asked, knowing that Neji had no meetings to go to. Neji shrugged, he couldn’t do anything because his sparring partner couldn’t train, his sensei had run away and his other teammate had run with the sensei.

“Well, since you don’t have any thing to do today, why don’t you help me go shopping?” Tenten asked. Neji raised a brow and said, “Going shopping…what for?” Tenten shrugged and said, “Food’s almost out and since nearly everyone is on a mission today there’s nothing else to do.”

He shrugged and went behind Tenten as she walked to the shops. As they walked Neji noticed lots of guys ogling Tenten, Tenten totally oblivious to this. They had gone to three shops already and they decided to go for lunch.

The got a table at a small café, they ordered drinks and Tenten ordered ice-cream. She took the cherry off and just started eating. Neji knew Tenten liked eating the cherry last for some reason. The two just talked about random things and then got approached by a guy….spiky hair, green eyes and a play boy smirk….boy you better say your prayers because Neji doesn’t seem to like you especially with that bad glare.

“Hey, there. I’m Akari, so you single?” He asked Tenten casually. Tenten looked up and smiled at him and said, “Maybe…” Akari smirked and said, “Well, then you me dinner and maybe hit my apartment afterwards?” Neji glared at him.

Tenten stood up, ice-cream in hand and then she did something that made Neji want to just roll over laughing, she dumped the ice-cream on him and smirked, “Sorry, I’m no slut so try your luck somewhere else.” She put the cherry on his head and shooed him away.

Neji smirked and said, “I thought you liked your cherry.” Tenten giggled and said, “I can order another one. Hey waitress? Can I have another ice-cream?” Tenten asked a random girl wearing the waitress outfit. The girl nodded and went off to get Tenten’s ice-cream.

In moments the ice-cream came and Tenten started eating. Neji just watched her eat it happily; she noticed his stare and said, “What?” She had a bit of ice-cream on the side of her lip. Neji smirked and wiped the ice-cream off with his finger. She blushed and ate slower this time.

Later on that day, Neji walked Tenten home, carrying all the bags like any other guy would.

“Thanks Neji-kun!”

Neji nodded and didn’t expect what happened next, Tenten stood on her toes and gave Neji a kiss on the cheek and went inside before he could react.

Neji stood in the door way…standing still, a hand on his cheek and a stupid smile on his face. Yep just a normal day.
