Just a little song fic I wrote with Time of Dying and House. Hameron pairing. I don't own House or Time of Dying. Wish I did; but I don't. Read and review it makes me happy! :D No flames please. Thanks for reading and enjoy! :D

'I'm never going to wake up from this am I? What kind of sick, twisted thing is he going to come up with next?' Cameron knew the pain had to go away; that he would go away. The mind games he would play her with; the pain he would cause her. At first it was only once but, then he apologized. He would say he was sorry and he would never do it again. Cameron would say it was alright that he didn't mean too and they would go on but, then it started to get worst. His drinking became more often and so did the violence. It wasn't just one hit anymore it was five or ten times. He didn't even apologize anymore because, he didn't care. Chase cared nothing about Cameron only one person did and that was House.

On the ground I lay; motionless in pain.

I can see my life flashing before my eyes.

Did I fall asleep? Is this all a dream?

Wake me up I'm living a nightmare.

Cameron started wearing darker make up and wore long sleeved turtle neck to hide the bruises that were always from around her neck, wrists, and arms. Wilson and Foreman would always ask if something was wrong but, when she looked back at Chase he would give her a death glare so she would always tell them she was fine. One night after he had hit her in the face a couple of times she finally fought back. Seeing as he was stronger then she was Cameron didn't get very far but, with the amounts of alcohol in his system he wasn't as powerful. Punching him as hard as she could Cameron struck Chase's face and watched him fall to the ground. Amazed by her own power Cameron stood in awe until she realized that she didn't have much time. Running toward her apartment door Cameron started running just to get away. To get away from Chase, from her problems, and from her pain.

I will not die (I will not die)

I will survive

I will not die (I will not die)

I will survive

About four blocks away from her apartment Cameron finally stopped running. The blood from under her nose was dried and caked to her face. Dropping down to the ground Cameron started to sob violently. Being totally oblivious to the fact that there was some one standing next to her Cameron just kept crying.

"Come on Cameron your stronger then that," noticing that familiar gruff tone

Cameron looked up and quickly looked back down, "You have no idea what's going on with me." Standing slowly Cameron got back up to her feet and swayed a little from dizziness. Noticing her sway House put a hand on her shoulder and Cameron tensed up. Removing his hand House sighed, "You have to be strong."

"Or what?" The soft click of a bullet being locked into a gun chamber ready to fire sounded. A gunshot rang out through the empty alleyway. Falling to the ground, House started to bleed out from his chest. Gasping for air House fell to the ground with a thud.

"House? House!?" Cameron stared up at Chase and glared.

I will not die, I'll wait here for you

I feel alive, when you're beside me

I will not die, I'll wait here for you

In my time of dying

Pacing the hall way Wilson was nervously watching the surgeons (excluding Chase) work on House. The EMT that had found House had told him that they had fought Cameron slightly psychotic and bruised. They had told Wilson that they would take Cameron and check her out to make sure she was alright. BEEP! 'Oh no.' Watching from the balcony over the operating room Wilson saw his best friend flat lining. Shouts for a crash cart sounded through the operating room.

"Charging clear," an electrical shock sounded through the operating room. Wilson held his breath as they continued to shock House's heart.

"Clear," beep-beep-beep a steady heart beat sounded through. Wilson sighed in relief and hoped that he was going to get better. 'But he'll never get better will he?'

On this bed I lay

Losing everything

I can see my life passing me by

Was it all too much

Or just not enough

Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare

Slowly waking up House took everything into thought. 'Where am I?' Looking around he noticed his heart slowly beating. 'Oh god what happened?' Feeling the pain in his chest where the bullet had lodged itself into House's rib cage. 'Okay what do I remember? Uh well I found Cameron.Cameron! Oh man then Chase came with a gun and shot me. What if he shot Cameron to!?' Hearing his heart beat race House decided it was better if he calmed down; but he couldn't Cameron could have been hurt or worst. House gulped he couldn't even think of that one word, that one possibility, the one thing that would kill him. What if she died?

I will not die (I will not die)

I will survive

Cameron was slowly waking up from the sedative they had given her to calm her down. It just kept happening again and again. House was shot and it was her fault; it was all her fault. If she hadn't have left then Chase wouldn't have come with a gun and shot him. 'What am I going to do?' No one had come to tell her anything about House no matter how many times she asked they would tell her, "I'm sure he's fine." But they didn't know they had no idea! Nothing was ever going to be the same for Cameron; not unless he was okay but, even then she wouldn't know. Hearing the hospital room door slid open Cameron looked up; she saw a worn out Wilson slowly walking in and sitting in the chair next to her bed. He couldn't even say anything because nothing came to mind. Wilson just simply looked at her. There wasn't anything to say; she just needed someone with her. To tell her it wasn't her fault, to say it was okay and House was going to be fine. But could he really say if he was going to be fine? Could he tell her it was going be okay? Was it?

I will not die, I'll wait here for you

I feel alive, when you're beside me

I will not die, I'll wait here for you

In my time of dying

Whenever House woke up again he noticed a familiar scent fill his nose. 'Could it really be her?' Opening his tired blue eyes he saw her empty green eyes. She was just staring off into space waiting for him to wake up.

"Your pathetic," Cameron looked down to see that House had woken up. He automatically noticed the tears streaming down her face.

"I am so sorry," her voice was only a whisper but, he heard what she said. House wasn't sure what to do so he grasped her hand and just let her cry. He just sat there watching her slowly.

I will not die, I'll wait here for you

I feel alive, when you're beside me

I will not die, I'll wait here for you

In my time of dying

Everything was a little different after that. Chase had been sent to jail for attempted murder and domestic abuse. Cameron and House finally accepted the fact that they loved each other and were planning on getting married in the fall. Everyone had a different opinion on what had happened but, for House and Cameron it was almost their time of dying.

I will not die, I’ll wait here for you

I will not die, when your beside me

I will not die, I’ll wait here for you

In my time of dying
