Bullworth
Mark, Courtney, this is gonna be one of the weirdest territories I’ve ever been to. And that’s only because it’s so incredibly normal. Not a thing out of the ordinary. Not one thing that Saint Dane seems to have messed with. Gah, I’m so screwed up! I don’t know what there is to fix!
But I should probably start at the very beginning for your sakes. First of all, I was wrong to destroy the flume on Ibara. It all started at sunset five days ago. Telleo were hanging out on the beach, like we’ve always done every weekend (At least I think they’re weekends). And suddenly, she looked at me, like I’d never seen her look at anyone before. She blushed and said “I know you can’t get back to second earth (I had told her about the territories and halla a while ago, seeing as the battle was over anyway). And I’m not Courtney, or Loor (yeah, she knew about that too) but… we’ve been through a lot together. I was wondering if…you’d build your home on Ibara with...me”.
I was shocked. Not just “Say what now?” shocked, I mean “HUHWHA” shocked. I couldn’t really react, but Telleo didn’t give me time to. She grabbed me and planted a long, loving kiss on me. “I love you Bobby Pendragon”, she cried. And the light clicked on. I had never told her my name was Bobby. She, and every other soul on Ibara called me Pendragon. I instantly knew something stank, but if she was Saint Dane or Nevva Winter, I wasn’t about to let him/her know i knew. Then I remembered that Saint Dane could still leave Ibara. After all, it may’ve been Veelox 300 years ago, but it was still Veelox. And that meant there was still another Flume.
I had to leave. Ibara was safe, Saint Dane had definitely moved to another territory, and left me and Nevva behind was what I thought. So, when Telleo went to bed that night, I snuck onto one of the five skimmers that had been left after the Dado attack, and traveled in silence to Rubic city. When I got to the manhole, it was all clear, and it was in plain sight. That meant someone had moved all the rubble and debris from the past 300 years away from it. That meant Saint Dane had been here. When I entered the flume, a single candle had been placed on the wall, Along with a piece of Parchment. Saint Dane had written me a poem.
“I once said halla was just the beginningWell it appears I was right
On Territory 11 i’ll be sinning
I Hope you’ll put up a fight”
I’ll see you on Bullworth
With love,
Saint Dane.
I re-read the poem a good ten times, and decided I really hated poetic villains
“Hobey Ho, lets go”, I muttered, before calling into the darkness “BULLWORTH”.
An un-familiar black light came at me, and swallowed me up.
I wasn’t in any danger that I could tell of, but it was not as pleasant as any other flume ride I’d ever been on.
“Oh Well” I thought “Since when has the life of a traveler ever been pleasant”.
And So we go.
