ADORATION

Chapter 1

It all started when I thought I was on the top of the world. My own fairy tale started to open up. But all of my happily ever afters were not to be.

It was my sixteenth birthday and my friends bought me a Jonas Brothers concert ticket. My friend, Gail, was to take me to meet them. Gail knew them well so it was possible that I would be able to meet them.

The concert was beautiful, thousands of fans screaming when they finally came out, enormous colored lights lit up the stage and everything was perfect for a concert. Then during “Hold On” Joe Jonas fell off the stage. Many fans and bodyguards ran towards him to see if he was fine.

“I’m fine fellas.” Joe told the guards casually. Kevin came down to help his brother and just before going back on stage he smiled at me and said “Hey Sarah!” I was shocked, unable to breathe. I was finally able to say “OMJ.”

They continued their concert without any injuries serious or otherwise. After everyone had left Gail and I went backstage to talk to “the boys”, as she calls them. And to my surprise they all knew my name.

"Gail?"

"Yes?"

"How do they know my name?"

"You think I talk to them and don't tell them about my friends who are friends. Are you ok? We can leave-" but kevin cut her off by taking my hand and kissing it, as if he were a prince from a little kids princess movie.

"Hello Sarah. We've heard a lot about you. Especially about me." I couldn't speak, here he was my favorite Jonas Brother, and he actually kissed my hand. Thankfully, I brought up my courage from many years of live theatre.

"Hi. Wow. I only hope that it was good whatever it was that you heard." I can't believe it, why was I acting so werid, what was wrong with me? Then I realized, I had a major case of "butterflies in my stomach" just like I did before my first big solo in front of people and looking at a cute guy while singing it.

"Hey I'm Joe I'm the one that fell in front of you and probably squished a bug."

"Hi" my voice was becoming hoarse. I thought it was because of my screaming and singing at the concert. At least I was hoping that's what they were thinking.

"And I'm Nick. Sorry you couldn't meet Frankie but he fell asleep so we really didn't want to wake him so hopefully you'll be able to meet him soon."

"Ok"

"Are you alright?", Kevin asked, "Do you need a glass of water 'cause we have plenty." Ilooked to where his gesture was showing me, and right there about a couple feet away were 3 cases of "Figi" water.

"I'm fine. It's just from the screaming and the singing from the concert." I was literally praying in my head that they would buy my story.

"Yeah",Nick sighed, "A lot of people sing and scream at the concerts. I'm glad you guys were some of them." I looked up said thank you at least a million times.

"So guys are you going to stay in town for a while?" Gail asked them, she was practically their cousin, in fact I had forgotten that she was their cousin!

"Yeah sure", kevin and Joe were both filled with excitement, afterall it was the month of June and July would be here by tomorrow and they had the whole month off, "Besides," Kevin gestured, "We haven't come to see you yet. You've always come to see us. Now it's pay back." All three of them laughed devilishly. Then my phone started ringing. My friends Molly and Katie, sisters, were coming up to get me at that moment and said they would be there in five minutes.

"Ok guys I'm leaving in five minutes. It was nice to meet you." i said and headed for the door. Kevin grabbed my arm.

"I'll only let you go if you promise me that I can take you to Starbucks for a coffee. My treat." he smiled waiting for my answer, "I want to get to know you a little better. Please.", and he batted his eyelashes reveiling his beutiful hazel eyes.

"Alright, I promise to go have coffee with you if you let me go right now."

"Ok. That's works I'll callyou."

"You don't have my number."

"Yeah but Gail does she'll tell me." He smiled again.

"Bye, see ya." Nick and Joe yelled and Kevin just kept smiling and smiling.
