CHAPTER 1: Meeting in Twinleaf town

“Sasha, it’s time to wake up!”

The day was as beautiful as ever as Sasha Ashley Jerome woke up with a start. She threw on her white shirt with a red tank top that has two white pokeballs at the corners and two

buttons where her straps were. She put her red skirt with black shorts underneath. She put on her black socks and red boots, grabbed the messengar bag she packed the night before, and

headed downstairs for breakfast. Her long black hair bounced on her waist as she ran down the stairs while the two ponytails at the end flipped and flopped. Sasha had been waiting for this day for a long time. It is the day when she gets her

first Pokémon to start her journey. She was so excited that she ate her eggs, sausages, and bacon with orange juice really fast. “Don’t rush--then you’ll choke” Sasha’s mom said with a

smiling face. “I’m sorry I’m just so excited!” she explained. She was planning to be a Coordinator but she liked battles so she decided to do both Gym Battles and Contests. Her twin sister

Tasha Kina just left for her Pokémon journey about five minutes ago. She said she would wait for her in Jubilife city. Sasha gulped the last of her juice and grabbed her bag with extra money.

She kissed good-bye to her mom and hopped on her bike. Her Journey had finally begun.

Sasha did not know that her neighbor, Dawn was on her way to Jubilife from getting her first Pokémon, Piplup. Sasha had just stopped her bike in front of professor Rowan’s office when

she heard a very low cry. She looked in the bushes to find a little Piplup with a very high fever. She grabbed the little Pokémon and ran into the lab. “Professor, Professor I’ve got a sick

Piplup here!”She exclaimed holding the little thing while it was barely breathing. A tall man with gray hair and mustache was looking at this Pokémon with a very solemn look on his face. He

grabbed the little Pokémon and scurried to the lab. When he got there, Nurse Joy took it and said” Oh dear, this little Pokémon will need to have immediate care for its fever.” While Joy

attended to Piplup, Professor Rowan said” well, your name is Sasha right? I guess you want your Pokémon but unfortunately the sick Piplup was part of the list unless you want to take it

while it’s still weak, you can take either Chimchar or Turtwig.” She thought for a while and decided to take feeble Piplup. Rowan took the pokedex and pokeballs and gave them to her. “I will

check on you when you get to Jubilife city about Piplup.” Rowan said “please make sure you give it 3 teaspoons of medicine with its food.” said Nurse Joy. She said good bye to the Lab crew

and left the lab. She carried the Pokémon to her bike and put it in the basket where it laid there sleeping. She started to petal slowly careful not to wake her new partner. The adventures of

Sasha were yet to begin but for now she worked on taking care of Piplup.
