A/N: I made a Christmas request list a looooong time ago. I've had bunches of drabbles finished for a long time now, but I never got around to posting on LJ. Now, I've decided to make this collection for them.

The request post is still open and the link is on my profile. Now, for some OTP! ;D

01— carve your name into my arm (#31 – art)

Kairi had only been in a tattoo parlour once before, on Yuffie’s eighteenth birthday. The Asian girl had been adamant about getting one the second she could without her parents’ permission, just to spite them. The redhead had never been a fan of needles, so even though Yuffie had begged her to get one as well, she’d declined.

And now she was back, desperately trying to convince her boyfriend of eleven months and six days that he did not have to get a tattoo to prove he gave a damn about her.

“Axel, really. We’ve been together almost a year; you don’t have to do this.”

He looked up from the glass display case and over at her, and smirked. “I’m not the one getting the tattoo, sweetheart.”

She blinked. “Then who…” Her eyes widened. “No, Axel, I am not going anywhere near a needle.”

“C’mon,” he faked a pout and wrapped his arms around her waist. “All you have to do is get my name inked into your wrist or shoulder or…” his fingers danced across the skin just above the waist of her skirt, “lower back.”

“And why, exactly, would I want to do that?” She asked, raising her eyebrows.

He grinned and lowered his face to her neck. “Because,” he said, mouth opening against her jaw, “I want everyone to know that you’re mine.”

And Kairi, for the life of her, couldn’t find a solid reason to disagree.

02— still life, real life (#33 – cold)

“Wow,” Kairi said, staring at the field of white before them. “I knew you were an idiot, but I didn’t think you were this stupid.”

Axel snarled at her side. “I wouldn’t have fucked up the intended destination on the ship’s coordinates if you hadn’t been bitching in my ear the whole time.”

“You’re the one who kidnapped me,” Kairi pointed out. “Did you honestly expect me to just sit back and play damsel in distress?”

“Well, I didn’t expect you to try and gauge my eyes out.”

“What can I say?” She shrugged. “I don’t appreciate being manhandled by strangers.”

“And I don’t appreciate being temporarily blinded by a teenage girl with fake nails,” he retorted, kicking snow off his shoe. “We aren’t to be going to be going anywhere until this storm passes.”

“I figured. If we freeze to death, I’m going to kill you.”

“Because that’s logistically possible.”

“Shut. Up.”

He was silent for a moment. Kairi hadn’t expected him to take her seriously, and just as she opened her mouth to ask him if he was alright, he said, “Well, look at it this way.”

She shot him a curious look. Swinging an arm around her shoulders and smirking crookedly at her, he continued, “If it gets too cold, we can always huddle together for warmth.”

“I’d rather die.”

“Suck it up then.” He squeezed her shoulder and winked. “I’ve got no intention of freezing my ass off tonight.”
