"Don't you kiss me." I felt like I had to say something to her. She was standing there with that face on and I couldn't leave it be. She watches John walk out the door and down the path before turning back and answering.

"Not until you're ready." Then she walks out after him and shuts the door behind her. Her words made me tense up, but not because she made me feel uncomfortable. No. See, I was ready. She just didn't know it yet.

The sun wen't down hours ago and so did John. Her words still run through my veins like shivers and I know I can't let her get away with them. She passes my door, following the same path as always for her patrol.

She knows I'm awake, but that's nothing new, so she leaves me be. Once she's on the other side of the house I step out of my room and wait for her next pass. I only have to wait a few minutes before she turns the corner right in front of me. I take one step and push her against the wall, my hands tight on her shoulders. I take a second to look at her before I smash our lips together.

I know it would hurt a human - it hurts me, but I need the force. Even though I take her by surprise, she responds almost instantly, pressing her body into mine and adding tongues to the mix. I can feel the want that's been sitting in my belly for days ignite, but I hold off and end the kiss.

She looks dizzy and I can't believe she reacted that much. She tries to kiss me again but I take hold of her face and keep her head against the wall. I move my face close to hers, a smirk on my lips, but then turn it to the side to whisper in her ear.

"I'm more ready than you think." I press her back to the wall and before she can move to follow, I walk into my room and shut the door behind me.

I'm in charge here and she needs to know it. Plus, it was just a kiss, nothing more.
