SUMMARY-

A disease strikes the Kingdom of Obscurite. The disease infects the inhabitant and drives them mad, causing a huge drop in the population of Mon Lithe. Currently no cure is known, but there is a spark of hope...they must drink the blood of the Princes Heir. The prince has to take a wife, but what happens when the Prince's romantic interest isn't what they seem?

Prologue

“ How many births this year?”

A lone bat flew into a tall castle ontop of a red hill. The castles many turrets each led to a different dimension, it’s windows painted a garish crimson. A matching crimson moon shone in the ever-night sky. The bat followd the scent of blood to a gigantic meeting room with an ornately crafted marble table in the centre of the room.

A messenger read his file, checking through the sets of data. “Ten, sir.”

A sigh was heard. “And deaths?”

“Fifty deaths.”

A murmur went through the room .

“Fifty deaths…” The same voice muttered. He stepped out of the shadows, revealing his face. Piercing brown eyes gazed out of a thick beard of white. His face was lined, aged but still strong. A onyx crown rested on his forehead. “People of Mon Lithe! You have heard this brave messenger’s words! More of us have been dying, and our numbers have dwindled to a mere five hundred! We cannot let this go on any longer; the existence of our species counts in it!” Oberon grabbed his sceptre, raising it above his head. It glowed a deep obsidian, before a huge holographic projection appeared in the middle of the room.

“As you can see from the images, the sickness has spread to our neighbouring country, Asahi.”

Images of decaying bodies with red skin, mysterious blood trails, dismembered limbs that were completely drained of blood.

“Us Vampira have sent a treaty to Asahi’s Vampira, hoping that we would be able to work together and find a cure to this epidemic.” A feminine voice cut through the murmurs. A tall women who was leaning against the doorway strode to the front of the room, her midnight hair fanning out behind her like a cape. Gasps were heard.

“It’s Queen Lucinda!” “She actually came to a meeting” “Remarkable”

Lucinda smirked as she scanned the crowd with her ruby eyes. “Epidemic aside,” She said as she crossed her arms. “You all know that our prince has to find a bride and produce a heir or the royal family line would be in deep shit. So, I have decided to send him down to the human world and pick one them and screw them.”

A vein popped in Oberon’s forehead. “Lucinda…you’re not supposed to use that sort of language…” Lucinda waved him off. “Don’t be such a fuddy-duddy, Oberon! It makes you sound really old…”

The whole meeting room rang with laughter at the bickering couple.

The bat left the room, hearing enough. It flew straight through the door and into the Prince’s Room. A faint glow surrounded it before it burst into multi-coloured fireworks.

“So I have to go to Human World…” The Prince smiled, pushing up his glasses. “How interesting…”
