"I love you, Phoebe." With that, Phoeb crawled into Joe's arms. It was one of very few serious moments they have in their lives, but they were loving it. They just stayed like that. It was a matter of hours, over 18 phonecalls, and 27 texts that the ysat there and just, held on to each other. It took Kirsten, coming around the corner to even get them to look up.

Kirsten's POV.

'Damnit. I don't know what's wrong with me, why does it huirt so bad to see this?' I thought to myself, crouched behind a trashcan and staring in the direction of Joe and Phoebe. 'I should be happy for them, we knew this was going to happen.' I kept repeating phrases like this into my head, but I just couldn't make myself feel better. I have such an amazing boyfriend... And yet? I'm standing next to a trashcan full of rotten tomatoes, ready to bawl. I stood myself upright, and walked around the corner to the couple.

"What are you guys doing?!" I nearly screamed. I needed to look mad, they did leave the set 3 hours ago.

"Um, nothing... I guess we lost track of time... Sorry." Phoebe said, repositioning herself, yet still in Joe's arms.

"Yeah, we'll be right there." Joe smiled his million dollar smile. God, did that hurt.

"Okay, I'll tell everyone I found you." I walked back around towards the studio. I picked up my phone, not to call them, but to call Mary.

"Marr-rr-rryy." I cried into the phone.

"Oh my god, Kirsten... What's wrong? What happened, are you okay?"

"I.. Yeah.. No, I don't know..."

"It's Joe.."

"You like him."

"How did you know?"

"I just know these things. Now spill. Everything."

"Well, today there was a kiss written in one of the scenes. It was for me and Joe, I just got super excited for it. Too excited. I started realizing that I liked him, and I thought maybe he'd like me too. So, we were just about to kiss when Phoebe had some mental breakdow, screamed, then ran out of the building."

"He chased her."

"How do--?"

"I'm good. But, you can't do that to Kevin. He's sucha an amazing guy."

"I know! And Phoebe... Joe and her are together now. I just found them... You know, I sound like such a bitch. Forget all of this. Just forget I called. I' sor--"

"This isn't your fault. So, your heart is hurting. Now find out how to fix it. But just know you'll probably hurt other hearts on he journey. Good luck hon, bye."

I hung up my phone and let out a deep sigh. I knew Mary was right, but I couldn't bring myself to see everone tonight. I saw the studio, but I just kept walking.

LATER THAT NIGHT, BACK AT THE CONDOS.

Everyone was having a nervous fit.

Joe was jiggling his knee furiously, Phoebe was playing with her hair, Giovanna was biting her nails, Kevin was pacing back and fourth, and Nick was cracking his knuckles.

"What if she doesn't come back?" Giovanna cried out, then Nick came to her side.

"Babe, don't think like that. You never know what really happened. She could be on a walk, or at a friend's house. Don't jump to conclusions.

"It's 11 o clock. She would have called by now if she was coming back. I'm going to look for her. Joe, take the other car. You guys stay here, you can't drive.

Everyone nodded and did as they were told.

Kevin's POV

My heart was pounding insanley hard, I was scared nearly to deat of what might have happened to Kirsten. 2 hours had past.. and still no sign of her. Then I spotted Joe's car, I looked out my window and saw everything I needed to see. I hit the gas, which mad a screeching noise and moved forward. What I didn't expect was the huge, white tow truck in my way. I pounded on the brakes, but it was too late.

Black.

Joe's POV

Nearly 2 hours have passed and still no sign of Kirsten. I moved slowly down a street where a group of teenagers stood at some abandoned corner store. I slowed when I saw a familiar face. I parked my car a safe distance from the site, and ran to her. When I got close, Kirsten was being handed a joint. She gave the guy some crumpled up bill, and he lit the joint for her. She was about to touch it to her lips when my arm robotically yanked her arm away.

"Joe?" She squinted her eyes in disbelief. I pulled her towards the car with me. I said nothing. No words would come out of my mouth. I was disappointed in her.

"Joe, let go."

"Let go of me." Her voice got a little harsher, and she swatted at my arm. Two more swats. Three more.

"JOE! Let go of me. Now. I'm not a twelve year old."

"Oh yeah? Well this looks like something a twelve year old would do," I yelled, holding up the lit joint,"Not you." He flicked it to the ground and stomped on it. "Do you realize how serious this is?"

"Joe, chill. It's one joint. What's it to you anyway. It's my body, not yours."

"Do you realize how bad you sound right now?"

"Get off of me."

"No."

"Why?"

"Because, Kirsten. Because I care about you. Other people have feelings, too. Not just you. When you get hurt, I hurt. Maybe if you stopped being so selfish you could see that." I let go of her.

"You know what? Maybe you'd all be better off without me. I'm leaving now Joe. Forever. Just one little thing I have to do." Before I could do anything about it, her lips crashed into mine. I wanted to pull away, and I knew I needed to, but I just couldn't. But then, a sudden bright white light, a screech, then a loud crash broke us apart. I turned my head to see Kevin's car smashed to pieces.

So, we ran to it. Faster than we'd ever ran before.
