A/N: okay I’m having major story blocks with my other stories. So I decided to start another one, but don’t worry the other ones will be finished. I always finish my stories, but if you have any ideas feel free to send them.
Chris sighed. He was sitting in the back room of P3 looking through some books for a lead on who was trying to turn Wyatt evil. Wyatt was evil. He could finally say it out loud, last week the order had attacked Wyatt and he had let it slip that he was evil. He hadn’t meant to, it just came out.
Despite his family kicking him out of Manor, he couldn’t feel better. Okay, so the sisters and Leo kicked him out of the house, and never wanted to talk to him again, but they knew. They knew the truth, and Chris felt like a hundred pounds had been lifted off of his shoulders.
He no longer had to be paranoid about what he said. He didn’t have to watch every sentence and be worried about letting his secret slip. Chris frowned, he still had one secret; his identity. And he refused to tell them, they wouldn’t believe him anyway. They would accuse him of lying, and he wouldn’t be able to deal with that. He just couldn’t.
No one in the past could find out that Chris Perry was Christopher Perry Halliwell. He would be damned to the fiery pits of hell before that happened. Piper and Leo could not find out he was their second born. It would be disastrous.
When he realized what he was doing Chris pushed those thoughts from his mind. He wouldn’t let that secret out. It was a carefully guarded one, even in the future. Chris frowned at the memory when Bianca found out who he was.
Chris was walking quickly through the halls of the Resistance headquarters trying in vain to avoid Bianca. He had woke up that morning screaming bloody murder, and she was demanding to know why. Why could she understand, he couldn’t tell her. The only people that knew he was a Halliwell was his family.
He was so deep in thought that he didn’t notice his girlfriend shimmer in front of him until he was pushed up against the wall. He frowned, he knew he was in for it now.
“Chris! No more secrets, no more lies. Tell me the truth. What the hell are you keeping from me, and don’t you lie to me!”
Chris gulped, you would think after all the stories he had been told about the demons his mom and aunts fell for, he would’ve stayed away from demons. ‘The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree’ his mind rang. “Bianca,” he gulped, “how’d you find me.”
“Chris I’m a phoenix. An Assassin. I’m very good at tracking,” then her eyes narrowed, “don’t change the subject.”
Chris sighed, he knew he had no choice. But how do you yell a girl that you really like - maybe even love, that you‘re the younger brother of the man that sent the world to hell? “I’m not just a white lighter, Bianca.”
Bianca realized her hold on her boyfriend and looked into his jade eyes, “tell me the truth Chris.”
“I’m part witch,” Chris admitted, and didn’t continue until Bianca nodded. He took a deep breath. “There’s more. My mother,” Bianca looked up, Chris never talked about his family - especially not his mother. “Was Piper Halliwell, I’m Wyatt’s younger brother.”
Bianca didn’t say anything. Only bit her lip and nodded slowly. Chris was surprised, he had thought that she would be running for the hills right now if she knew the truth. “You aren’t sickened by this? I am. I mean my older brother, the person I looked up to when I was younger, sent the world to hell!” And with that he pulled out of her grasp and began walking away.
“Chris,” Bianca shouted as she caught up to him and grabbed his wrist and spun him around. “What’s wrong?”
“It doesn’t matter,” he replied, trying to shut her out.
“Don’t do this. Don’t you dare shut me out. I don’t care if you’re a Halliwell. I don’t care if you are Wyatt’s brother. You’re not like him, believe me, I know. I worked for him, remember? You never held that against me, so I’m not going to hold your family ties against you.”
Pulling himself out of that memory he walked out of the room and went out to the counter and sat down and began shuffling his tarot cards. Damn, he thought, I really need a hobby. Chris flipped a cards. He smirked, ‘the fool.’
Oh yeah, that was him. He was defiantly a fool. Especially if he believed that he would make it through this trip with out the sister finding out that Wyatt was evil. Yep, he thought, that was foolish. Deciding not to dwell on his past mistakes, he turned over another card. ‘An old friend.’
Chris frowned at that one. He was in the past, almost twenty-three years in the past. All his friends were no more that three, or not even born yet. Did this mean he would see one of his friends at a baby? He smiled at the thought of that. Or was it something else? Then some words kept running through his head.
“He created an new spell because of you, one that works both ways.”
“If I fail, he’ll just keep sending assassins back, and all they’ll have to bring back, is a body.”
Chris frowned. Was someone else going to come back from the future? And if so, then who? Another assassin? A demon? Wyatt? He leaned back on the stool and pondered this, but was rudely interrupted, when Paige came in.
“Well I’m sorry,” she spoke into her phone. “But I can’t come in.” She paused, “of course my temp jobs are important to me!” Chris cringed when he heard shouting coming from the phone, “well I can’t come in, there was a family emergency.”
Chris perked up, that got his attention. What was the emergency? Phoebe? Wyatt M-Piper?
Paige smiled at Chris as she hung up the phone, “hey there, haven’t seen you in a while.”
Chris frowned, “well I was told never to set foot in that house again, and I really, really don’t want to be blown up.”
Paige nodded and noticed the tarot cards. “Ah, looking for future information maybe? So who‘s the ‘old friend’?”
Chris sighed, “no clue. What are you doing here anyway?”
“Well, Wyatt was sick so Piper brought him to the clinic and she needed someone to help set up for the band tonight, so I volunteered to help out.”
“Who‘s playing?” Chris asked immediately.
“Umm, Rise Against.” Chris nodded, and Paige noticed that confused look on his face, “what?”
“Nothing, just trying to remember the band.”
Paige snorted, “you’re kidding right? Did you listen to any music growing up?”
Chris rolled his eyes, “Paige, I’m from the future, the people I listened to, most of the bands aren’t formed yet, and some of the people aren’t born.”
Paige nodded, “Yeah, I can see how that could be a problem.” She finally noticed the look on Chris’ face, “are you okay?”
As okay as one can be when their own mother chucks them out of their home. “Yeah I’m fine. It’s just, never mind.”
“Chris, if something’s wrong you can tell me.” Getting no response from her nephew, though it was unknown to her, she continued, “okay then, why are you reading tarot cards?”
“To see if the future has changed.”
Paige nodded, “well I got to go. I’ll see you later.”
When she left Chris frowned. What old friend was he going to see?
Year 2027
Melinda Portia Halliwell sat on the edge of her bed with her cousins Izzie, Ally, Peyton and Patience. Ever since she was yen years old, it seemed liked there was one funeral after another. Today had been Uncle Coop’s funeral. She Peyton and patience were trying in vain to comfort their two cousins. But no matter how much you comforted a someone, it wouldn’t make the blow of losing a love one any easier. She knew this through experience.
To everyone outside the family Coop Valentino had died of a heart attack, but the family knew it was because of demons. Wyatt’s demons if they were being honest. She sighed as she tried to comfort her cousins, wishing their oldest sister, Prue, was there to comfort them. But they all knew where Prue was. She was in the underworld hunting demons. More specifically the demons that killed her father.
Patience looked at her cousin and knew what she was thinking. The parents were almost all gone. Only her father remained, and Uncle Leo, but he had been ‘up there’ with the other Elders going nothing since Aunt Piper’s death. Her Aunt Piper had been the first, then 3 months later it had been her mother, then another 6 months later, had been Aunt Phoebe. In the duration of 9 months, The Charmed Ones had been ‘vanquished.’ Two years after that had been the deaths of the whole Morris family, four years later had been Billie, then Uncle Coop.
The only Adult left was her father, Henry Mitchell. He was next. And it pained her to know that her father was going to die, and she didn’t have the power to stop it. Only Chris did, if he managed to save Wyatt.
They all looked up at the sound of tapping on the door, only to reveal her father.
“Hey daddy,” she whispered. Patience had always been the daddy’s girl out of her and her twin sister.
“Hey,” Henry replied as he went to sit beside his daughter. “How are they?” He asked pointing to the two heart broken teenagers on the bed.
Peyton looked at her father, “as well as can be expected.” She then noticed her brother wasn’t with him, “where’s mini you?”
Henry smiled, “Henry went to bed.”
Melinda nodded, she knew how protective Peyton was of her siblings. Chris was the same way with her. And one time, Wyatt had been too. “Any word on Prue yet?”
Henry shook his head.
Ally sat up, “he needs help,” she managed to choke out.
Everyone looked at her, “who sweetie?” Henry soothed as he wiped the tears from her eyes.
“Chris.”
Melinda nodded, “I agree. There have been some changes, but not enough. Someone needs to go back and help him.”
Peyton bit her lip, “it can’t be you. You just managed to get close to Wyatt again, if you disappear…”
Izzie lifted her head up from the pillow, “then who?”
Patience raised her hand slightly, knowing this wouldn’t go over well with her sister, or father. “How about me?”
“Absolutely not!” Her father and sister shouted at the same time.
Patience crossed her arms, “why not?”
“Because it’s to dangerous,” he father stated.
Her mouth dropped, “it’s dangerous there? Look, Henry and Ally can’t go. They’re only 16, Izzie wouldn’t be able to get it together, Mel needs to stay and keep an eye on Wyatt, Prue .. Is to dangerous to go, and Peyton needs to stay here to take care of everyone. She was placed in charge of the Resistance.”
Mel smiled, Patience could be persuasive.
