Hey guys. I know someone is going to kill me for not updating my Dynasty Warriors story, but I made this for my friend Ghia. XD

Summary: Starscream will make a choice. Love or duty?
It all started with a war in a far away galaxy. Two powerful groups of robots have come against one another, known as the Autobots and the Decepticons, over the smaller faction known as the Mini-Cons.
"Hurry this way!" cried a green shaded robot. "I'm counting thirty seconds tops before they find us again!"
Small robots scurried over to a prepared ship. This vessel is going to send them far away from Cybertron, to somewhere they will be safe from the hands of the Decepticons.
A pale colored robot had closed the door of the ship once all the Mini-cons are in. He spoke threw the built-in microphone, "Optimus, all the Mini-Cons are in. They're on the go!"
The small ship's thrusters beamed up and ascended a few feet before blasting off into the air.
Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, watched the ship continued to rise up out of the atmosphere of Cybertron. There was an uneasy feeling. Something is not going to go right in this.
As what the leader expected, there was a small rocket that targeted the ship, causing a big impact on one of the thrusters.
Optimus let out a loud shot, "Autobots! Let's roll!"
I looked to the side. Megatron's metal plating shone with the glee of an evil robot. Devastator's shot was true. The ship has been damaged, but not fully enough for it to crash.
"Looks like we got company," Barricade growled from behind, pointing to the incoming Autobots.
Megatron barked, "Well what are you waiting for get on them!"
I stood a little while back as the other Decepticons charged on forward. Megatron turned his head to me.
"Aren't you going Starscream?" he asked, more like demand.
I replied to him, "We could have taken them out in a better distance than-"
I was cut off when Megatron barked at me again,
"I don't care what you think just bring that ship down!"
Resisting my urge to take him down there on that very spot, I merely nodded and followed the order. I changed into a jet fighter and took off to the air. It feels wonderful to feel the stale metallic air beneath my wings, but I set my free thoughts aside and accomplish the task given to me.
Everything was chaotic in this space aged battle. Lasers and bullets shoot from corner to corner, the half trying to protect the escaping ship while the other half is trying to knock it out of the sky. I had my crosshair locked on one of the smaller Autobots, Optimus Prime's second in command, Jazz. The missiles under my wing are ready to launch when the escaping ship blasted into hyperspace. The impact sent waves of electromagnetic power that rendered all of us to halt our fighting. But the trouble doesn't just stop there. Though I know it is already going over the laws of physics and sorts of crap Megatron wouldn't care about, the impact of the electromagnetic wave had initiated the plant Cybertron's countdown.
Fear instantly took hold. I was lingering for a moment before the battle resumed. And then a laser found its mark by grazing one of my wings. I returned fire, but keeping a close watch at Cybertron's breakdown. The planet was going haywire. Molten metal was bursting out from the ground. Machineries explode into giant mushrooms of smoke. From a distance, I heard one of the warriors shouting out,
"Better get outta here! The planet's going to blow!"
That seemed to be the right way, but leaving a battlefield would show cowardice. I boosted forward, stopping whoever from the enemy tries to escape. I locked on my crosshair once more, this time to the big blue head honcho, Optimus Prime. The moment I'm suppose to launch the missiles.
The planet exploded like a nebula. The stronger planetary explosion did not spare anyone in its path. I rounded about to meet a large chunk that knocked me out.
Everything was silent and then... I heard someone calling me.
"Starscream!"
I tried to reach out.
"Starscream!"
But it seems too far to reach.
Deep crimson eyes shot open. He ran a hand from his forehead and then through his hair. His vision is groggy and unclear. He felt hot in his clothes, the sweat is clinging on his back. He could feel his mouth gasping dry air.
"Starscream, are you alright?"
Words croaked from his mouth,
"Yeah... I'm alright... Just a bad dream, nothing to worry."
The one concerned is not appeased, but nodded. Standing up, and giving one last look at Starscream, the person left.
I watched her go and leave the room. Pushing my legs off the bed, I walked over and examined myself on the mirror in the bathroom. My red eyes stared at the reflection. I touched my face and felt the soft, supple surface. It's skin, human skin. A strange thought to be waking up in a different world. So was Cybertron just a dream or... is it real? I look down at the scar on my shoulder. It was somehow the very same place where the laser grazed upon my jet fighter wing.
Shaking my mind off the thoughts, I came to decide to wash off. Hopefully, this day would be as what the humans say here, 'as good as any other day'.
Closing the tap, I stepped out of the showers with a towel around my waist and another drying my hair off. There was a beeping sound in the room. I recognized it to be the telecom beside my bed. I pressed the 'Answer' button.
"Yes?"
"Starscream, it's me Jazz!"
I groaned inwardly since the telecom reception is sound sensitive. That annoying Jazz and his gung-ho language often gets into my nerves. Tch.
"What do you want this time?"
"Oh no it's not me. It's Alexis. She's bugging me to ask you if you are alright! Please say you are! She's really bugging me!"
I had a triumphant smirk on my face. It feels good to see other people suffer in the annoyance of someone else.
"Is that all what she wanted?"
There was silence on the other end of the phone.
"Starscream," The voice is still Jazz's.
I was already changing into my clothes, "Yeah, what is it. You sound all sober all of the sudden."
"Why can't you call Alexis by her name?"
I stopped. I went quiet and could only hear the sound of my heart beating loudly against the cage.
"Starscream? Starscream are you there?"
I reached out to the telecom and pressed the 'End' button.
"Hey Star-"
The transmission ended.
Striding over to the footlocker, I entered a code. The locker opened with a hiss. I took out a specialized gun, namely the SS-7AX. I named it that way, for a special someone, the moment I finished tinkering with my old gun. Pocketing it inside my black leather jacket, I stepped out of my room.
I have walked down these halls for the past few months that I memorized the whole layout of this infrastructure. But what makes it hard to cope up is to earn the trust of its inhabitants. I know the moment I set foot in surrender; the Autobots will not show any compassion to a deceitful man like me.
But how wrong I was, there is someone who trusted me.
I turned around a corner and waited for the doors to automatically open. Bright fluorescent light enveloped me as I entered the room. My eyesight cleared out to a comical scene. The two blond haired boys are throwing what seems to be spit paper.
"Hey Starscream you're here!" came the cheerful voice of the taller blond. He paused. "Wait a second... If you're here... and it's 10 am. Ohmigawd you came earlier than your usual 10:30 am wake up call!"
I frowned with annoyance, "Quit it Bumblebee," I groaned. "Your excitement easily wears me out."
"What happened? Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?" Bumblebee asked inquisitively.
I clenched my fist. But the man sitting on the end of table made a slight shift. I knew Ironhide was watching. He always suspects my actions. I loosened my fist and he resumed his position to reading the paper.
I took an instinctive step backward when Bumblebee waved his hand in front of me.
"Hello? Earth to Starscream!"
I harmlessly swatted his hand away. "Quit it. Just let me get some grub and I'm off."
I strode over to the table and picked a sandwich and started munching on it while getting a cup of coffee from the pot. Not long after, I left the dining room, with hunger satisfied.
My leather footwear made less of a sound down the hallway. I heard footsteps from the other corner approaching. I decided to slow down my pace to wait for the one coming over. I saw the foot emerged and then the whole form. My eyes fell upon a real human being.
Alexis.
"Starscream! Good morning!" she greeted me.
I opened my mouth to answer her greeting. Then the scene from bedroom earlier flashed back to me. Dark brown hair, deep chocolate eyes and small peachy lips, that is how one such as I could describe this being. Normally Megatron would punish those who would give out these kinds of words, but here with the Autobots and humans...
I feel safe.
"Where you the one who was in my room earlier?" I asked her.
I watched as her cheeks blush into light red, "I heard screaming when I passed by for my morning routine. I was worried."
I tried to smile, but what came out is a smirk. "I'll be alright," I said to reassure her. "It's just a dream. Besides, dreams are never real right?"
Alexis smiled and nodded, "Well maybe for you they are not, but for me they are."
We went quiet and then she spoke up, "Oh, and Optimus Prime wants to see you in the head's room."
I nodded. She then waved to me before leaving, "I'll see you later Starscream!"
"Yeah, sure," I answered absent-mindedly. My thoughts drifted to Optimus. What would he want from me now?
Then a voice in my mind answered, Maybe he wants to know which side are you really on.
I shuddered as I walked on. That was pure instinct his mind gave him, but that memory of such a mission: to become a spy among the Autobots for the Decepticons, remained etched in his mind.
At the port, many warehouses lay in ruin. Do not let the facade fool you, because these warehouses are more than just storing cargo.
In this community of warehouses, the center emitted humming sounds of machinery. Closing in to one of the windows, it revealed a space age designed room. In the center stood a long table where occupants, seated on chairs surrounded it at the sides with one person at the end.
"I have come to a decision," boomed a low baritone voice.
I stiffened, so as everyone else in the room. Red eyes of different levels are rested on the one at the end of the table.
Beside my seat, it was Blackout who volunteered to voice out,
"Who is it then?"
Megatron's voice echoed through the conference room.
"I choose Starscream."
I could feel my back sweat out profusely. How could he choose me? Though I know what are my capabilities and weaknesses, does Megatron know how much I loathe him?
I felt a strong nudge on my side. Blackout's calling for my attention.
"Pssst... Starscream, the boss is talking to you."
I snapped my attention back at Megatron. He was speaking.
"Starscream, you are going to as a traitor to Autobots. When the time is right, the tables will turn and the Autobots will be destroyed. I am quite sure that a Decepticon such as you will be able to understand what I am saying."
Of course I know Megatron, spoke the back of my mind. After all, why am I your second-in-command and probably the most intelligent amongst the bloodlusting brawling Decepticons?
I pressed the buzzer at the front of the door. A voice came from the other side of the room,
"Who is it?"
"Optimus, it's me Starscream," I answered.
The door hissed open as it slid to the side. I stepped into the chrome-blue decorated room. There is a large slide panel on one side that looks like a map.
Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, was sitting behind a table stacked with datas and maps as well as some blueprints to top secret weapons. I managed to steal a glance but seeing the handiwork. It's one of Ratchet's messed up ideas.
"So what did you call me in for Optimus?" I asked. I feel safe around Optimus, because I know he knows what are my real intentions here. As far as I go, he never made a sound to my hidden agenda.
"It concerns Megatron," Optimus stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
I stared at the man, he is also in human form same as the others. Megatron? Has he made a move?
Optimus was watching my reaction. He then opened his mouth and spoke again, "I believe that there is still a connection between you and your old comrade Megatron. But if you truly are on the side of the Autobots Starscream, this would be a test for you."
I frowned. How many times must I prove myself that I am on their side? I can no longer count the moments that I practically went in and saved their asses from the enemies. But underneath all of this ramble lies the real answer.
"Do not trouble yourself of my over-protectiveness," Optimus spoke. "You have done many a good deed to ensure our trust Starscream, but this is a different matter."
I hung my head and stared at the floor, "I know."
"Very well," Optimus said with a nod. "Now, your mission." He pressed a few keys on the keyboard. The panel on the slide revealed a map with a red blinking dot. I instantly recognized the terrain. Looks like Optimus had located the Decepticon hideout, I should congratulate him.
"The sensors have picked up a large electromagnetic pulse coming from the harbor. It shows a negative aura from it. Maybe possible that the Decepticons are planning something outrageous."
"And you want me to investigate on it?"
"Precisely, and once confirmed dangerous, I want you to destroy it."
I stared at Optimus and then back at the map. "Optimus Prime, you do know that there is a 50-50 possibility of failing this mission?"
There was no reply from Optimus, only silence. And then the big man spoke, "I know. That is why; you should learn to live everyday like it would be your last."
I no longer uttered another word. I knew what those words mean. It's been stated many times in those dramas shows on the television. But for me, it meant something else. I turned on my heel and left the room with the door closing behind me with a hiss.
No one had stopped my way as I headed down to the weapons' room. I passed by a room when someone called out my name.
"Starscream!"
I stopped but didn't turn around. That voice is too familiar.
"Hey Starscream! Talk to me, I know it's you!"
Sighing, I turned around only to take a step back and fall when a body launched itself on me.
I etched out a gasp, "Alexis!"
The brunette smiled over me. She then immediately got off and offered a hand. I waved it away and got up by myself, brushing off the dust from my black outfit.
"Starscream, are you busy today?" she asked.
I was going to snap at her and say yes, but on second thought, it would be better to get out of this place once in a while to somewhere where there wouldn't be too much action.
So I looked into her face and nodded, "No I'm not busy. Why?"
Her face lit up with happiness, "How about we go out together?"
I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out. Going out? Now what was it those humans term it?
"Uh..." I droned. "What do you call it?"
"It's called a date Starscream," Alexis explained it simply with a smile.
"Right.. a date," I stuttered. The next thing I knew, I was being dragged off with Alexis.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to go out with a human.
Yeah, the end of the first part. Since I'm itching to get that out of my face. It's hard to think right now..
Summer heat's in my head.
Part two is coming up. Humanda ka na Ghia, papatayin ko si Starscream.
