Reunion
What if I told you it was all meant to be?
Would you believe me? Would you agree?
It's almost that feeling that we've met before
So tell me that you don't think I'm crazy
When I tell you love has come here and now
“I could never get rid of any of this,” Peter said. He smiled at Andrea and brought a large suitcase out from on top of the wardrobe, setting it on the bed. He opened it. Inside were all of Andrea's best clothes, jewellery and perfume. He picked up a low cut red mini dress, made of silk. “I always loved this on you.”
“Yeah.” Andrea took it and went to the full length mirror, holding it up against her.
“You OK Hun?”
“Its just weird.” Andrea's arm fell limply to her side, the dress trailing on the floor. “Being back here.”
“I can imagine.”
“Can you?”
“No, not really.” He and Andrea both laughed. Peter put his arms around Andrea. “This had been the weirdest day of my life, but also the best. Cos I've got my little girl back.”
A moment like this.
Some people wait a lifetime
For a moment like this,
Some people search forever
for that one special kiss
Oh, I can’t believe it's happening to me
Some people wait a lifetime
For a moment like this
Graham knocked on the door of his spare bedroom and poked his head in. Kerry, who had just changed into her strapless hot pink dress turned and smiled at him.
“Hi dad.”
“Hi darling.” He came the rest of the way in. “You look…stunning.”
“Thanks.” She sprayed herself with perfume and sat at the dressing table to apply make-up. “I can't believe you kept all of this.”
“Well, I could never get rid of it. Its…it was all I had of you.”
“And this room. My old room. You never changed a thing about it. Not even the pink paint.”
“It’s your room Kerry; it’s to stay as you had it.”
Everything changes, but beauty remains
Something so tender I can’t explain
Well I may be dreaming, but till I awake
Can we make this dream last forever?
And I'll cherish all the love that we share
Kerry, Graham and Smithy got to the pub just as Neil was getting out of his car. He waved at them, a bottle of wine in one of his hands.
“Hi!” Kerry waved back. “Seen them yet?” she asked as they got nearer.
“No, but Connor said that they're closing the pub for the special occasion, so the whole thing’s open to us. And they also said to go around the back entrance.”
“And where's that?” Smithy asked, looking around.
“This way,” Neil said, leading them around the back.

“Hi!” Peter greeted everyone, opening the door. “Come through,” he said, leading them to the pub area and around the bar.
The tables were all cleared except for a space in the middle of the room where they were all laid out and the table set.
“Andy’s getting ready; she said she won't be long. But in her language, that means an hour or two,” he added, amid to laughter. “Anyway, help yourselves to drinks…ah so she wasn’t long!” Peter grinned at Andrea, who'd just come into the room.
“Long? Me? Never!” Andrea said as she came to Neil’s side. “OK, let’s get this party started!”
This could this be the greatest love of all
I wanna know that you will catch me when I fall
So let me tell you this
Some people wait a lifetime for a moment... like this
“Its so great seeing them happy isn't it?” Graham said to Peter, watching Kerry and Andrea talking and laughing with Smithy, Neil, Rory and Connor.
“Yeah, it is. I just can't believe she's actually here. I keep thinking I'm about to snap out of a bizarre dream.”
“Yeah, me too. Sometimes, I'd think I could hear Kerry calling my name at night. Now I'm wondering if it was actually her I'm hearing.”
“I used to hear Andy, too. But with crackling flames as well. She was calling me, just pleading for help.”
“Both of them, they died in so much pain.”
“Yeah, they did. But they're back now, and they person that caused all their upset and pain can't harm them anymore.” Peter smiled down at Neil and Smithy. “Those two saw to that. And I’ll always be grateful for it.”

Later in the evening, after pudding, Andrea was sitting in the pub gardens on the end of the fish pond. She skimmed her fingers in the water, it feeling even weird touching that again. Feeling a prickling on the back of her neck, she spun around. No one was there. Chilled, she turned back to the pond, and watched a fish swim by. She looked to the left as there was a flurry of pink and Kerry sat beside her.
“We've been wondering what was keeping you. Are you alright?”
“Yeah. I'm fine.” Andrea dropped her legs to the floor. “Do you ever feel like someone’s watching you? Someone who isn't a friend? You know, when….”
“You get that prickling feeling and the hair on your neck stands up? Yeah.” Kerry looked around and shivered. “I've had that feeling ever since I stepped out here.”
“But…there's…there's no one…”
“No, I know.” Kerry stood up. “Come on,” she said. “We’re the guests of honour; let’s get back to our party!”

After the dinner, Kerry went home with Smithy and Andrea went home with Neil. So many memories came back to them as soon as they entered the homes they hadn’t been in for so long.
Rain fell down, you were there
I cried for you when I
Hurt my hand
Storm a-rushing in
Wind was howling
I called for you, you were there
“Wow,” Kerry quietly gasped when she entered Smithy’s apartment. “I can remember the last time I was here. Can’t believe it’s been such a long time because, it hasn‘t changed!”
“Yeah I know,” Smithy said smiling as he moved in closer to her. “Come on.”
He took her by the hand and led her into his bedroom. When they entered Smithy’s room, a lot of memories came back to Kerry and she instantly knew what his intentions were when he took her in his arms and passionately kissed her.
“I've missed you so much, like you wouldn’t believe!”
“I know, I’ve missed you too.”
As they kissed again, Smithy began to undo Kerry’s dress and pushed her down onto his bed.
Whenever dark turns to night
And all the dreams sing their song
And in the daylight forever
To you I belong
At the same time, in Neil’s room, Neil was enthusiastically helping Andrea out of her mini-dress, and she was removing his shirt.
“Do you have any idea how much I've missed you?”
“I've been watching, of course I know. I've missed you, too.”
As their lips met in a passionate kiss, Andrea allowed herself to fall down onto the bed and pulled Neil down on top of her.
Beside the sea
When the waves broke
I drew a heart for you in the sand
In fields where streams
Turn to rivers
I ran to you, you were there
As they lay in bed together, Smithy looked down at Kerry and smiled. She was asleep, her head resting against his bare chest. She looked like a angel from above, which, he reminded himself, she was. How he had missed holding her in his arms as she slept beside him. Smithy found himself lost in a moment of indescribable happiness as he drifted off to sleep with Kerry in his arms.
Whenever dark turns to night
And all the dreams sing their song
And in the daylight forever
To you I belong
I ran to you, you were there
As he lay beside her, Neil swept Andrea's dark hair back from her face, twisting it in his fingers. Now he had her back in his life, his world finally seemed complete.
Whenever dark turns to night
And all the dreams sing their song
In the daylight forever
To you I belong
To you I belong
To you I belong
