Based in TF: Animated universe. I couldn't help myself...
"Sari! Get back here!" Optimus shouted chasing after the human girl.
"You have to catch me first!" Sari shouted over her shoulder at the much larger robot.
Prowl has been watching these two chase each other around the base for about an "hour" as the humans called it. Sari ran back across the floor with Optimus Prime following. He tried to use his grappling hook to catch her but she ducked and it hit a wall. Prowl sighed and stuck out his foot. Sari, who was laughing over her shoulder, didn't see this. She ran right into his metal leg.
"Ow!" She shouted as she fell to the ground. She glared up at the black and gold 'bot, "What was that for?!"
"It is your bed time, Sari," Prowl told her, "You need your rest,"
"But I don't want to rest! I want to help you find my dad!" She said standing and crossing her arms.
"And to do that you need to be fully alert," Prowl said picking her up and walking to her room. He set her on her make-shift bed, "Get some sleep, Sari. We will do what we can for your father,"
Sari huffed, "Fine,"
"Good," Prowl nodded to her and walked from the room.
"Wow," Bumblebee said with wide optics.
"What?" Prowl asked giving the mini-bot a questioning look.
"You calmed down Sari in a matter of minutes! That's a new record!" The small yellow bot explained using dramatic hand waves.
"You only need to talk her down. Chasing her will only get her exited," Prowl said shaking his head, "Now if you'll excuse me," He brushed past Bumblebee and walked to his room.
The moonlight shone through the hole in the roof lighting his room with a blue glow. This Earth planet was so fascinating. So many different forms of life. Far too many to comprehend. The ninja-bot jumped up into the tree and perched himself amongst the leaves. He looked out at the bright lights of the city. Humans were so careless. They wasted their planet building and expanding instead of taking in the beauty that was their home. They never think about how short their lives really are until it's too late. Prowl leaned on the sturdy tree and watched the cars go by.
Then, something incredible happened. All of the lights in the city flickered like a giant lightbulb. A red ball of fire flew over Detroit and landed with a resounding crash in the lake. Prowl jumped to his feet and raced from the room.
"Did you see that too?" Bulkhead asked looking from Optimus to Prowl.
"Yes. Do you suppose it was a Decepticon?" Prowl asked their leader.
"Maybe. But it could just be a lab test gone haywire," Optimus rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "We should investigate anyway. Bulkhead you get Ratchet and Bumblebee. Me and Prowl will go ahead to see if it any danger. We'll call you if we need you,"
"You got it, boss-bot," The large Autobot hurried off to get the others.
"Let's go," Optimus said running out the door with Prowl right behind.
-
"Do you see anything?" Optimus Prime asked looking over at Prowl.
"Nothing," The motorcycle replied, "Perhaps it was disintegrated during the fall,"
"With our luck, not likely," The leader said, "Keep looking,"
Prowl did not like having to dig around in a murky lake in the middle of the night. It was hard enough to see in this water anyway. He dove below the surface and turned on his night vision. The only thing he saw was a lot of garbage. Figures. Humans even polluted the places they didn't live.
A sudden shimmer caught his optics. He swam over to investigate. As he got closer the warmer the water got. This was definitely where what ever that thing was landed. He swam deeper down to get a better look. There was a crater like hole in the lake with steam billowing from it's opening. Okay it was a bunch of bubbles. It could be steam. Prowl crouched on the edge of the hole and peered in. At first his scanners picked up nothing. But, then, he was alerted to an odd shape huddled at the bottom of the pit. It looked like a Cybertronian so he called Prime over.
"Do you think he's dangerous?" Prowl asked.
"Let's not take any chances," Optimus said. He put his fingers to his helm and spke, "Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratchet. Come to our position. We've found some one,"
"Some one?" Bumblebee asked, "A person crashed in the lake?"
"We did," Prowl said flatly.
There was no response.
"We'll be right there," Ratchet groaned. He must have been taking his stasis nap.
Prowl stealthily climbed into the hole and closer to the body.
"What are you doing? He could be a Decepticon!" Optimus shouted, "Get back here, now!"
"I only want to look," Prowl reasured him, "I will not wake him," As he got closer the floating dirt thinned giving the bot a clearer look at the figure. It wasn't what he expected.
"Well?" Optimus asked, "Is he on our side?"
"She," Prowl sasid with widened optics.
"Huh?" Prime responded.
"It is a female..."
And the suspense builds... Review!! Tell me what you think! It was either start this or a Star Wars fiction. This was more fun. I'll start the Star Wars story once I'm done with one of my others. REVIEW!!
