People stopped. Screamed. Stared.

“Oh my God, what is she doing?” They mumbled as I tumbled off the bridge.

No, I wasn’t suicidal.

Inches before I hit the New York water, I snapped my wings out and up, zooming upwards in half a second. Flap.

The mumbles on the bridge stopped. All I could think was that line from Phantom of the Opera.
