Konoha Anime Con 2008

I was reading Dramacon when I was inspired to write this, there might be some resemblance but I won’t make it too obvious!! This story is for Jay Jay who bought me all three volumes of Dramacon as a farewell gift!! I know your reading this, so yes chicky, I am saying that you're awesome!! And Em, I shall not repeat this again: I know I should update faster but I can't!! Okay? This is pretty much gonna be a she said, he said type of story so... yeah!

Prologue

Every year in July Konoha holds an anime convention, I've never been but I am going this year. You see, I draw and write my own manga, I'm completely anime and manga crazy, but my parents (Father mostly) believe that it is 'a complete waste of my valuable time and that I should not influence myself in such trivial things'. But this year, I'm spending my summer over in Konoha with my cousins/BFFs, Hinata and Neji Hyuuga, and they've promised to bring me to it so I can see what it's really like.

Hinata isn't usually allowed to go to these types of things either, but as long as Neji's there she’s allowed. Oh! Did I mention Hinata has her own clothing line?! Yeah, well she does, it's totally amazing!! Her clothes are unbelievable!! She says my style inspires her but I'm not sure if that’s a complement... She loves making costumes for Cosplayers and she sells her stuff at conventions, like I want to do with my manga!! It's called Butterfly Ai, Bai for short, and it's da bomb!! She also said that she had a gift for me!!

Oh, wow, did I do that again?! Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself!! Pfft like you ever remember. Hey, shut up you!! Hi I'm Haruno Sakura, yes the one with the pink hair and green eyes, yes I do look like someone pulled me out of an anime and the hair is natural, I have baby pictures if you want proof!! I tend to carry those around in my purse just in case anyone asks. And that annoying little voice there is my Inner, she's just there to bother me.

So to go on to more fun things I guess I should tell you about myself... what a drag...

So basically I'm a sheltered spoiled brat who gets everything she wants, NOT!! People would think that because Mother is a world renowned medical researcher and Father is like the richest men in the world, with Uncle Hiashi close behind. I do have a lot of things but I'm not spoiled. Most eighteen-year-olds get to party and have fun at night. My nights consist of studying, practicing any number of instruments, studying, reading, drawing in secret, studying, practicing more, supper, studying, practicing and so on. Yes, very dull, but I enjoy it, most of the time. But on week-ends I have ballet class and I get to ride Hanzo, my black Arabian stallion, and in the summer I have my tennis to keep me occupied.

I'll talk more about me later but for now I need to pack!! I'm so excited, I can hardly move, maybe I should get Chiyo to pack for me... I'll probably hurt myself...

I can't believe it. That dobe is actually blackmailing me into going to another convention. Where does he get all those photos anyway?! It's really starting to scare me, and I don't frighten easily. Damn, did I forget? It's Uchiha Sasuke once again, yes THE Uchiha Sasuke, don't drool. (Cocky bastard.) So to give you an idea of what I'm talking about I'll explain in little words. Last year for my eightieth birthday, aniki gave me an animation program for my computer for Kami knows why, he said it was to occupy the little free time I have. My idiot best-friend had a field day when he found out, he said we should do some stuff and sell it. Like I need the money, Dad’s like the richest man in the world.

So we did some anime style things that didn't turn out so bad and copied it to a few DVDs and we actually sold it at a convention, it was actually pretty popular so we did more and sold all that too. I have to admit, storylines are pretty bad, but the voice overs and graphics are awesome. The voice overs are just random servants from around the house, sometimes from Naruto's place too. We just raise their salary and they do it, pretty well actually, but we could use better plots and the characters aren't very original, even if they look good.

Naruto says we should do this full time. Of course that would take a lot of time and experience, that we don't have, and a lot of money -that we do have-. He's dragging me to this convention so we can look for a writer and maybe an artist for some fresh ideas. I don't really want to go, but he's making coughblackmailingcough me go, and they can actually be cool if you get past all of the freaks.
