"Ko-no-ha," A young boy of the age 4 read slowly as he looked at the front gate.

He had a mop of night black hair covered with a cap that had fox ears on top. His clear blue eyes scanning the sign making sure this was really the correct place.

He wore a tattered blue shirt and orange overalls with a fox's head picture on the front. Being dragged around was a small orange fox plushie, his shorts torn on the side from scraping against some bushes. He yawned cutely and rubbed his eyes.

"I'm sleepy..." He whined to himself and shook his head. "But I'm almost there!"

"You here something, Izumi?"

"Dunno...but I think it came over there," two voices called out.

Shock overcame the young boy as his eyes widened in fear. He eeped before diving into the bushes with a small whimper as he felt his arm scraped against the branches.

"Hm...I don't see anything..."

"Maybe the lack of sleep is getting to us?"

"Haha...yeah...night watch sucks,"

The two guards left and the young boy popped his head from the bushes sighing in relief.

"That's too close..." he muttered to himself before trying to scramble up the wall gate and falling on his bottom.

"Ow!" He whimpered in pain and rubbed his bottom before trying to climb up again.

"FREEZE!!" A voice yelled out scaring the boy as he fell on the ground with a thud.

"Eh? What are you doing here?" Shizune said emerging from the shadows. The boy sniffled scared before sobbing. "Ah! Oh no! W-what’s wrong!? Are you lost!?" Shizune asked frantically.

She noticed the cuts and scrapes on the boy's body, she picked him up and cradled him in her arms.

"You poor boy..." She said tenderly, "are you lost?" she asked again earning a nod from the sniffling boy. "Uh-huh,"

"What's your name?" Shizune asked rocking him slightly. The young boy hiccupped and rubbed his eyes, "H-hiro," "Hiro...that's a nice name...how about we take you to the Hokage's tower and get you fixed up, kay? And then we'll find your mother,"

"...mama will never look for me..." The boy mumbled "I'm looking for my papa...he's here in Konoha,"

"Then we'll talk to Hokage-sama! She's a very nice lady so don't worry," Shizune smiled.

The young boy nodded before grinning a fox like grin. "Ok!"

'That looks so familiar...must be my imagination...' Shizune thought to herself.

Shizune walked in with Hiro in her arms. Tsunade was sleeping on her desk drooling on some papers...important documents on certain trading deals, an empty bottle of sake in her hand.

"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune yelled making Tsunade sat bolt up.

"What? Where? Who? When? Why? How? Afampimfik!?" Tsunade exclaimed babbling.

"..." Shizune sweatdropped and sighed as Hiro tilted his head innocently and stared at Tsunade curiously.

"Onee-chan..." Hiro whimpered slightly nervous and hugged Shizune tightly as if trying to hide.

"Who's that Shizune?" Tsunade said rubbing her temples trying to rid the hangover.

"Tsunade-sama, I found this boy just outside the gate of Konoha...he says that his father is in Konoha," Shizune said putting Hiro down.

"Alright...what's your father's name?" Tsunade asked getting a pen and a piece of paper.

"...I don't know..."

"Is he a merchant?"

"I don't think so..."

"So he lives here?"

"...I think..."

"Can you describe him?"

"...I think I have a picture...but I forgot where I put it..." he said checking his pockets on his overalls.

"...do you even know who your father is?"

"..." Hiro shifted slightly and looked down at his feet.

Tsunade sighed and leaned back on her seat.

"This is going to be hard..."

Shizune crouched down at eye level and spoke in a soft tone. "If you don't know who you father is how are you sure he's here?" she asked.

Hiro paused slightly before looking at her. "Jii-san said I know where he is because we are connected," he said with confident "I felt him here!"

'Great...just great...when I find his so-called "Jii-san" I'll strangle him...' Tsunade thought strangling the air imagining a faceless old man.

"Oi! Oba-chan!!" Naruto yelled bursting through the door. 'Damn...will this headache ever go away?' Tsunade thought to herself rubbing her temples, clenching and unclenching her fist.

What happened next shocked everyone in the room.

"PAPA!!" Hiro cried out happily glomping Naruto.

"EH!?" Shizune gaped her eyes widening.

"NANI!? Tsunade gasped in disbelief.

"WHAT THE HELL!?" Naruto fell down as the young boy whimpered happily hugging Naruto tightly.

"I can feel the connection...you're my papa! I know it! And...you're just what Jii-san said you look like!"
