Snow

My heart cries as I walk through the snow,

My eyes are dry, the pain doesn't show;

I hold a photograph in my hand,

This moment is something I could never have planned;

I’m finally here, my destination in sight,

The cemetery is there as day turns to night;

I walk to the grave, my emotions let go,

I lay to rest, forever numbed by the snow.
