Bunnyloverforever: I do not own Okage: Shadow King

Bunnyloverforever: I’m writing this story however I want to, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and all the fluffy-gore out there. I do not believe in god. End of story. Leave it as that. I’m sorry you can’t play the game, but I will tell you right now, my story will not tell you anything about the game. Everything that is happening in my fanfic is taking place after the game has been defeated. So, you’ve been warned because it will get increasingly more gay, lesbian, and all the fluffy-gore out there. Thank you. Review about my WORK! Read my sister’s story! (Aruka Shinkei(something like that))

Chapter 4: Puke

“My, my, oh, Ari, how I am so sorry for leaving you to be taken care of by that-”

It was morning by now, close to the afternoon. The sun shined through the clear blue skies. Ari couldn’t have acknowledged it less than he already did. He fought to open his eyes and face Epros. He couldn’t feel his head resting on anything now. Where did Stan go? Wait a second, Epros was back. The wizard grabbed him by the shoulders and shook Ari awake. Right when Ari heard his voice, he could feel something travel up his stomach and to his throat. The reason Epros stopped mid-speech was because Ari leaned forward and puked on his red dress pants.

“When will he wake up?” Stan peered over the drunken silly, boy, who was lying on the couch in a different outfit.

“Did you want to know how my time with Linda went? It was more than my expectance, not a drop of sweat.” Epros grinned at his attempts to make Stan jealous. He was sitting on the couch across from Ari. Epros took Ari in and told his mother what had happened. After doing so, he changed into a new pair of the same red dress pants.

“No, I don’t give a damn,” Stan defiantly stated and crossed his arms. ‘I definitely can’t tell him that I took Ari to the bar yesterday. He’ll kill me, but Ari might tell him anyways.’

“What did you and Ari do?” Epros inquired with the same mystery smile and unreadable cat-eye look.

“Stuff,” Stan simply replied and dug his hands in his pockets. He focused his gaze on anything, but Epros. ‘Kissed, got drunk, passed out.’

“Very… nice.” Epros truthfully thought about his date. ‘I would rather have sucked on ice.’

“Great,” Stan shuffled his feet and knew he had to say something nice. “I’m glad, you know… had fun and… yeah.”

Epros blinked at the complement of his date with Linda. Was Stan the one that was actually sick? Epros let out a sigh of distain and glanced back at Ari. “What really happened?” he inquired again.

“Well, Ari wanted to try his first drink… you know. So, we went to the bar. Don’t feel bad, he almost puked on me too.” Stan faked a chuckle and finally faced Epros.

Epros went wide-eyed and jumped off the couch. “You idiot!” Epros tackled Stan to the wooden floor. He landed on top of him. “Why did you do such a thing? You’re lucky I don’t have any rings!” Epros clenched his fist and held it above Stan’s face.

“Hey, cool off! He’s all right!” Stan sat up and rolled on top of Epros, now sitting on him.

“Get off of me!” Epros did the same thing, and then Stan, and then Epros. They continued rolling, yelling curses at each other until Stan slammed his shoulder against the wall and stopped. Epros continued slamming Stan against the wall. “Get off!” he shouted once more.

“Gee, maybe you should keep on slamming me?” Stan sarcastically suggested and finally threw a punch at Epros.

“Ugh!” Epros’s hands flew to his face and he used his magic to lift and throw Stan across the room.

Stan? How could you?” Ari stood up on the couch and requested to know. “A-are you all right, Epros?” he jumped from the couch and kneeled over Epros. Obviously, Ari had just woken up and hadn’t witnessed nor heard the entire argument-fight.

“Yes, Ari, dear,” Epros said while rubbing the side of his cheek that was punched.

Ari glared back at Stan while Stan gave a what-the-fuck look. “Stan, I know you said you would try to befriend Epros! I wasn’t drunk then! But now I wish I was!” Ari turned around and finally discovered he was only in a white t-shirt and his sister’s pair of shorts that ended well above his knees. His face turned a bright scarlet color when he noticed. “W-who d-dressed me?” Ari timidly asked. Epros and Stan glanced at each other. Epros decided against telling Ari anything, he looked so cute clueless. Ari shook his head. “Wha-whatever! I don’t know why you two always have to fight!” Ari twirled around and ran out of the house after stepping into a pair of brown slippers.

Stan and Epros gasped when the door shut closed behind Ari. Stan jumped up to his feet and sprinted to the doorway. “No, you don’t!” Epros whispered and waved his free hand. Stan ended up being dragged across the wooden floor next to Epros by the wizard’s power. Epros stumbled to stand, but managed well enough to begin floating slowly towards the door.

“You know what? I’m still that boy’s shadow, dumbass!” Stan rubbed the back of his head and then started cackling as he disappeared in a dark light.

‘This won’t be good…’ Epros thought to himself and then disappeared.

Ari let out a strong sigh, more like a huff. He made his way towards the entrance of the village. ‘Maybe I really shouldn’t have run out like that. I still have a really bad hangover. Yeah, I’m just going to go back.’ Ari sadly sighed and made a 180 degree turn to only see one of his best companions, Rosalyn.

“Hey, Rosalyn, what are you doing here?” Ari waved and gave a small forced smile. ‘Wow, I wonder what Rosalyn’s doing here. I thought she was… well… vacationing or something.’

Rosalyn cocked her head to look behind Ari. He didn’t have a shadow, but slowly, Stan emerged from the ground behind Ari in the form of his shadow. “Aha!” she raised her sword.

“Slave, don’t run out like that!” Stan scolded behind Ari. Just seconds later, he noticed Rosalyn’s sword in the air.

“St-Stan? You’re not supposed to do that anymore! You can’t just-” Ari turned around and wanted to scold Stan back, but was interrupted.

“SLAVE, LOOK OUT!” Stan shouted and pointed ahead.

“Eh?” Ari turned around, once more, almost not even believing Stan. He received a warm welcoming from Rosalyn’s blade, thrashed across his torso.

Ari yelled in pain and his side met the dirt road. “Rosalyn!” he shouted, only thinking of how great friends they used to be. Stan hid his gasp, but he froze. He continued to watch Ari bleed out on the ground, hoping for a miracle to happen. And he doubted he could do anything, and everything was happening to quickly. How would he be able to change into his human form and gain consciousness?

“I’m sorry Ari, but there’s no reason for you to be alive anymore. Nor should the Great Shadow King, Stan!” Rosalyn felt hot tears stream down her cheeks. ‘I already delivered the first hit. Just one more and he’ll be dead! Or maybe… I could just… leave him.’ Rosalyn lowered her bloodied sword down to her side and watched Ari squirm less and less.

Ari felt the gash from the beginning of his left shoulder down to his right hip. He was going to die for sure, and Stan couldn’t do anything, and Epros was no where in sight. ‘Wait a second… Epros has got to be somewhere!!’

Epros!” Ari weakly yelled out. He almost forgot he was completely paralyzed in pain and a pool of blood was surrounding him. Just as he tried to yell out again, Ari started spitting out blood from his mouth. ‘This is it… I’m gone…’

‘No, wait, I’m not sorry! Stan must be stopped!’ Rosalyn took a deep breath and swallowed up the remainder of remorse she had for her dying friend. After lifting her sword up in the air and pointing it towards Ari to stab him in his liver, Rosalyn’s stained sword flew out of her hands when she felt a peck at her palm. When she took a closer look, she saw a playing card had flown in front of her. Jumping back, Rosalyn took a careful look around, not seeing anyone. “Show yourself, Epros!” Rosalyn called out.

The famous wizard said nothing, but he did reveal himself in front of Ari, holding both of his playing cards while his mask adorned his face. “No weapon? Then there is no beacon of hope for your reason.” Epros pointed out that Rosalyn didn’t hold anything, but her parasol.

Rosalyn grimaced and glanced at the near by bushes checking if she could spot her sword. She looked back at hand and noticed that the card didn’t just peck her, but he had slashed her hand deeply. “Ah!” she screeched in fright and dropped her parasol. All the while, Epros struggled to place Ari in his hands and not stare mindlessly at the pool of blood. Once the mission was accomplished, without even glancing at Stan, he fazed through the ground which caused Stan to disappear. Rosalyn ripped a small portion of her pants and wrapped the fabric around her hand, tightening it. When she saw nothing, but the pool of blood on the dirt road in front of her; her heart sank. “Ari…” ‘What was I thinking? I wasn’t here to kill anyone. I was here to confess my longing feelings to…’

(Ahahaaa, my own personal cliff hanger. I’m just too lazy right now to write anything now.)
