9:00 p.m.

Layla went downstairs after Dwayne fell asleep.

"How is he?" Pete asked.

"He's asleep. He cried... himself to sleep... He really loves her..." Layla said as she started to cry. Pete walked over and hugged her from behind Layla.

"Yeah. He does..." He whispered. "Where is that girl?"

"Upstairs, if I'm not mistaken... Pete... if you can, please help Dwayne... He's so sensitive. He blames himself for everything. He never blames other people. So selfless."

"Yeah, I'll try to do my best... Don't cry anymore, okay? Don't cry..."

12:00 m.n.

"Pete, I'm gonna use the bathroom for a second, 'kay?" She said as she went upstairs. She opened the bathroom door and got shocked at what she saw. It was Dwayne cutting himself with a razor at his wrist while crying. Layla suddenly panicked and called Pete over as she kneeled down and tried to snatch Dwayne's razor.

"DWAYNE!" Pete yelled. "Stop that!!"

"No... It's okay... I have no place here..." Dwayne said softly.

"Dwyane! No! I... We don't want you to do this. I know Dana doesn't!! She loves you! She just doesn't know how to express it!!"

"No... I know that she wants me to do this. She wants me to die slowly and painfully to ease her pain. I know this makes her happy so I'll do it for her. I'll die for her..."

"D! What about her mother?!" Layla asked. Dwayne suddenly stopped cutting himself and froze as he heard the sentence. "Dwayne... I know that she doesn't want you to kill yourself... Don't you remember?! She told you to take care of Dana, not leave her alone!!"

"Call Dana, Pete..." Layla said as Pete ran out of the room to find Dana.

"DAD!!" Dana said as she burst through the bathroom door. She sat beside Dwayne and held on to the razor that Dwayne was using and they played tug-of-war with it.

"You called me dad..." Dwayne said.

"Yeah!! I mean... who are you if not my Dad? Not biologically though... But you're still my Father! And... I'm really sorry... I wasn't thinking when I said those things... I hurt you... I'm really sorry... I love you..." Dana kneeled down and hugged Dwayne.

"I love you too..." Dwayne whispered.

"Lay... c'mon. Let's let this two bond together." Pete said.

"Y-Yeah..." Layla said while once again, she started to cry.

They went out and went downstairs only to find Danny awake.

"Dan! What are you doing awake? It's 1 A.M.!" Layla said happily.

"I'm 12 you know... And why are you crying cuz?" She asked.

"Nothing Danny... C'mon. Let's go to sleep..."

"Yeah. Sure."

"Night, Dan."

"Night Layla."

Layla went to the sofa where she was recently relocated to because that girl Dan wants to sleep in a nice bed. Pete (of course), didn't want to leave Layla alone so he also moved to the sofa and is now sleeping on the floor once again... Layla went lied down on the sofa to sleep and Pete followed and lied down on the floor also to sleep.

"Good night, sweetie." Pete said.

"Good night, Petey. I love you."

Pete smiled at the very last sentence his fair maiden said and replied to her call. "I love you too."
