I Do not Own Naruto
NaruHarem, but mainly NaruSaku
--
Chapter 1:
Naruto and team seven where on the mission to the land of waves. Kakashi was teaching them how to climb trees using only chakra.
To Naruto the morning began being woken from his slumber by who he thought was an attractive woman. After picking some medical herbs and being lectured on becoming strong to protect someone precious to you Haku revealed himself to be a man.
“He’s prettier than Sakura Chan.” Naruto thought completely wigged out.
Getting to his feet he prepared to head back to Tazuna’s house, but a whisper in the wind caught his attention. He could barely make out a ‘this way,’ but his curiosity got the best of him and he followed it through the woods.
“Where’s that loser going?” Sasuke asked himself watching the orange clad shinobi.
Following at a distance Sasuke kept watch on the blonde.
The distinct smell of salt filled the boy’s nose as she waded through reeds down into the water. The waves washed against him as he made in into waist deep water. The voice stopped, and Naruto tripped over something causing him to flop into the water.
“Idiot,” Sasuke murmured to himself.
Struggling through the water Naruto managed to find what his foot had been held up on. Grabbing it he stood intent on chucking it as hard as he could. When he emerged from the water he glared at what he thought should have been an ordinary stone. Instead it was a sapphire colored ball with some kind of animal sculpture inside.
‘Chakra,” a voice whispered in his ear, ‘Give me Chakra.’
As persistent as the disembodied voice was Naruto’s own curiosity. Remembering the lessons on focusing one’s chakra he directed the flow to his hands. He couldn’t see it, but he could feel the ball absorbing the energy.
As it fed the ball began glowing brighter and brighter until it just shot out of Naruto’s hands and into the sky. When the glowing sphere disappeared the sky began to darken. The temperature dropped several degrees. Then the air became crisp with the promise of lightning. The waves began to rock more and more. Suddenly the wind was ripping across the island causing the trees to bend to its will. Lighting lit up the sky threatening to devastate what ever happened to be in its path. The waves grew in size. The current strength tripled in a matter of seconds. Naruto tried to get back to shore but the current being so strong hauled him out to sea. You could faintly hear his cry of Dattebayo as the waves slammed him on the beach.
Sasuke came out of his hiding spot and hoisting Naruto up helped him in land.
“What did you do?” He berated, “Loser,”
Naruto looked at the raging sky and wondered that very question. A massive roar filled the sky causing both young shinobi to look skyward. What they saw scared the pants off them.
A massive blue dragon with white hair behind its head, and long silver claws had appeared. It quite literally looked like it could pick its teeth with the Kyuubi. It was not long after its appearance the wind and lightning seemed to fade, but the sky was still dark.
“Who has awoken me from my slumber?” The beast demanded,
Neither dared to answer to move, or to even breathe.
Dragons were never patient creatures, so naturally the lack of response was growing on his nerves. A bolt of lightning bore down on the two striking with an unbelievable force. Both Sasuke and Naruto seemed to have come around from the shock.
“I’ll ask again,” The dragon roared, “Which of you summoned me?”
Both looked up at the massive monster, then each other. Trying to decide how best to respond to the all powerful beast before them.
For a second he seemed to focus on the two of them, then he began to glow a light blue in color. He shot toward the ground slamming into it scorching the surface and digging a sizable crater. Dirt flew into the air blocking both boys vision.
The dirt began to settle and the air cleared. To their shock the massive dragon was gone and in it’s place was a six foot five man. He had stark white hair, and sapphire eyes, and was dressed in a blue cloak and hood the covered him from head to toe.
“There,” He began, “I suppose I’m a little less overwhelming now?”
“Who are you?” Naruto asked,
“I am the great blue dragon Quinlong, but to you Quin will do.”
Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other, and then at Quin. Who seemed to focus on them again. This time his concentration caused both Naruto and Sasuke’s chakra wavelength to appear in his vision.
“You,” Quin called pointing at Naruto.
“yeah,” He responded.
“What is your name?”
“Naruto,” the orange clad shinobi responded, “Naruto Uzamaki,” he then finished, “What do you want with me?”
“My boy,” Quin responded, “The question is not what I want with you,” He continued, “The question is what do you want from me?”
“Huh?”
“I shall grant you one wish,” Quin explained, “But only one, so think hard on what you want.”
“What?” Sasuke yelled, “Why are you granting this dobe a wish,” He ranted, “Why don’t you grant me a wish.”
“Because,” He explained, “You did not summon me.”
“So wait,” Naruto began, “I can have anything I want?”
“Yes,” Quin replied, “You can have anything your little heart desires.”
Quin’s eyes suddenly turned very serious watching the blonde youth. This was the ultimate test. If the child wished for wealth a nation would be bankrupt. If he wished for power his home would be in ruins. So many had met their doom when it came to a single wish.
He continued to stare into the blonde’s eyes. He saw loneliness. He saw pain, and a burden that no child should ever have to carry.
‘Will he wish for revenge on those that have wronged him?’ he thought to himself, ‘That kind of wish is always fun to watch as it destroyed the wisher.’
The he noticed something else in Naruto’s eyes. Something he had never seen in such tormented eyes. That was when Naruto’s thought process became known to Quin.
‘I can wish for them,’ he thought, ‘I can wish for my mom and dad, but is that something I’m really ready to face?’
‘His mother and father,’ Quin though, ‘Something most take for granted, but is priceless to him,’ Quin smiled and thought, ‘I like this kid.’
“So be it,” Quin spoke aloud.
“What?” Naruto asked, “I haven’t wished for anything yet.”
“Of course you did,” Quin smiled, “It’s been on your heart this whole time.”
Naruto started shaking a strange sense of excitement, and doom flooded him. What if his parents would hate him because of the Kyuubi. He didn’t think he could take that at all.
Suddenly mist began to surround all three of them. Sasuke wondering what in the world the class clown wished for. Quin smirking as he began to grant the wish. Naruto was in between excitement and dread. He was excited to finally meet the people that consumed his thoughts, but he dreaded how they would treat him being the Kyuubi’s container.
“So you have wished it,” Quin’s voice rang through the trees, “So shall it be!”
The wind kicked up again. Naruto and Sasuke trying valiantly to remain standing. Using what they knew of the tree climbing technique they managed to collect chakra in their feet and use it to hold them in place. When the wind died the sky lightened, and soon they could hear Kakashi calling out to them.
“What’s going on here?” He asked,
Sasuke was about to tell the copy ninja what had just happened, but he seemed to find Naruto more interesting. Following his eyes through the mist he saw two figures standing where Quin had once been.
‘Is that them?’
Both Kakashi, and Sasuke had gotten on guard at the appearance of the two in the distance. Their attention went back to the blonde who was moving toward them in an almost zombie like state. He had to know. It was driving him crazy, but was also scaring the pants off him. He stopped maybe five, or ten feet from the duo.
He was breathing heavily and drew in a deep breath, “Mom?” He asked, “Dad?”
The two stopped looking around which they had been doing until Naruto spoke. They turned their eyes to him, and he braced himself for the worst. Slowly the mist cleared allowing each of them a better view of each other.
“Naruto?” The woman asked her red hair falling past her shoulders. She was dressed in a black battle Kimono. Her green eyes and ruby lips trained on the youth in front of her. When she could finally see his face tears flooded the woman’s eyes.
“Naruto!” She yelled running to him and clinging to him like her life depended on it, “Naruto,” She whispered again stoking his blonde hair.
“Mom!” He cried into her top.
He had been waiting forever, and had always longed to feel a mother’s love for her son. It was just as his friend’s had described, no it was way better.
The man moved forward coming into view. Kakashi dropped his Kunai. He could not believe his eye. It was absolutely impossible for him to be here, but their he stood.
“Hey,” Sasuke began, “What is wrong with you?”
“S…s…sensei…”
The man kneeled by his wife and son. He reached over and ruffled Naruto’s hair. The blonde looked into his father’s eyes, and was beyond shocked. Kneeling next to him was his idol. The man he aspired to surpass one day. The yondaime Hokage, but the wish was for his parents which meant Naruto’s hero was his own father.
“D..dad?”
“Hey Naruto,” He responded.
“Why?” he began,
“I’m sorry son,” He began cupping his cheek, “If there had been any other way,” He explained, “I would have gladly taken it.”
“I don’t mean that?” Naruto began,
“Then what?”
“Why didn’t you leave me something telling me who you where,” He began tears beginning to fill his eyes, “Or at least a note telling me you love me.”
“I did,” he responded, “You where to receive them when you reached eighteen.”
“Why then,” Naruto asked, “Why not when I could read.”
He looked down, “I had a lot of enemies son,” He explained, “If they knew that you where my son they would have stopped at nothing to kill you,” He finished, “I asked Sarutobi to keep your identity hidden so that you could live and train in peace until you where strong enough to protect yourself.”
“I guess I can understand that?” He began but was cut off when his Kunai was grabbed and flung at a tree.
Two ninja’s jumped down one of which Naruto’s father recognized, “Kakashi?”
“Minato Sensei,” The copy ninja spoke softly.
“I have a lot of questions Kakashi,” The Fourth spoke sternly.
“As do I sensei,” He replied, “But we are in the middle of a mission,” He explained, “I suggest we return to Tazuna’s so we can speak.”
“Of course.”
Naruto was a little saddened to have to get out of his mom’s arms, but he knew he had to. Kakashi Sensei was right they were on a mission after all.
Sasuke however followed silently. He had a new found respect for Naruto. He could have had anything he wanted in the entire world, but he chose his family. Sasuke had to wonder if he had that opportunity would he have chosen as Naruto did, or would he have wanted the power to exact revenge on Itachi.
He didn’t know. He would have to sleep on this some, and talk to the dobe when he got done cuddling with his mother, but for now he would let his friend enjoy himself.

That’s it for now.
I know Kushina is a Tomboy in the manga and believe me that will come out in the upcoming chapters.
Also how will the mission in the wave country differ now that Minato and Kushina are there?
What will happen when they return to the village?
What was the deal with that dragon?
Will Quin be back?
Answers to all these and more next time in Namikaze reborn.
