Karen Darling watched someone from afar, the way he smiled, the way his eyes sparkled, the way he moved, she was completely intoxicated just by the thought of Nick George. Next thing, her fantasies were shattered when his wife walked up and lightly kissed him on the cheek, Karen quickly left the ballroom and stepped into the room right next to it. As soon as she shut the door, Karen looked around the room she was in, it was around the same size as the ballroom next door, except it had no tables, no chairs, but there was a Grand Piano at the back of the room. She slowly walked up to the piano and sat down at it, starting to play the first song that came to mind when thinking about Nick.

Had Karen been paying attention to her surroundings, she would have noticed when the door opened and someone stepped into the room in the middle of the song, she would have also noticed when that someone walked up behind her and stood there until the end of the song.

" Karen!" Nick whispered from behind her and she went stiff as a board at the sound of his soft voice.

" What are you doing here, Nick?" She asked, not daring to turn around and look at him.

" Look at me, Karen!" Nick ordered softly, evading her question as he sat down next to her at the piano.

Karen reluctantly turned her head to face him and Nick caught sight of the tears sparkling in her eyes. The next thing Nick did shocked Karen to no end, a second after her eyes met his, Nick leaned down and softly kissed her on the lips, a soft, sweet kiss that neither one of them wanted to pull away from.

" I can't unlove you either." Nick nreathed when they broke apart, before capturing her lips with his own once again.
