Ch. 2 Battle Tao vs. Rose

Back at the academy:

Yori and the mask figure stand off waiting for each to make a move while his ninjas are standing by watching and playing gate keeper if any of the vampires get up.

“So when shall we begin?” Yori said as she prepared to fire unlocking the safety.

“Since were getting serious…” The mask figure said as he began chanting.

“Pa gu wa son fa,pa gu wa son fa,…” he continued making the chant faster until.

“PAGUWASONFA!” He screamed out making the appearance of him exploding and the blast heading for Yori who immediately dodge through the right and began shooting of the dust.

Once the dust subsided a lone figure of a teen male age around 16 standing in the center with a pair of kunai in his hands. His outfit was a pure black jean, with black shoes, and twin dangling long sleeve shirt to his wrist with a white outlining.

“Is that all there?” The boy asked as the bullets dropped out of his ragged jacket which was now nothing buts ashes this cause Yori to stare in shock of someone who had the strength of a vampire but wasn’t one. “Well since you’re done I’ll go, strike!” He said as he did an anime run vanishing and then reappearing right in front of her about to strike her before she move to the left in the nick of time. Right after his miss she grabbed onto his hand trying to knock the kunai out of his hand. However, instead he jumped up and spin kicked her in the chest relishing him of her grip. Yori feet dragged back a few feet as the boy flip right back into the same spot he originally was at.

“My, you’re so slow that if I were to go full force it may be a problem so instead they’ll go.” He ordered as he snapped his fingers unleashing his ninjas a pawn her.

As they rushed to her one leapt into the air and just as it reach her she pulled out a talisman and chanted silently.

“paguwasonfa.” Yori said silently as she placed the talisman a pawn the machines face which causes it to spurt around as its head blew to bits. This caused the other machines to stop in there tracks watching in shock while there leader looked in disgust at how his soldier failed to kill her.

“Finish her now!” He yelled as his troop’s responded heading for her, but this time she was ready. She brought fourth an extendable staff that looked as a pen as she began chanting forming a circle around her. Once all the troops were within the circle she unleashed her magic.

“PAGUWASONFA!” Yori cried as light flashed within the circle disintegrating the soldiers.

Once they were gone she fell to her knees trying to regain her full composure. However before she could the guy took one of his kunai and struck her arm unleashing a little bit of blood.

“Hmmm, you are a member of the Tao how could you side with these monsters!” He angrily yelled lifting her from the ground right after tasting the blood from his kunai. “You’re probably having no idea. So since you don’t know I let you in on a little secret, these beasts are the reason why you don’t see many of us today and instead seeing almost nothing but vampires. That due to them slaughtering not only my species but almost every other species that would be a threat to them. The only problem for them was that they never expected all of us to gather together to gain one true goal making them extinct.” He explained as he threw her into a wall preparing for one final strike. “It all ends here sorry but I have one vampire who was last seen here, you might know his name Rido Kuran.” He said as he walked closer.

‘No, I have to protect them as the lone guardian’ Yori thought to herself remembering her training.

Flashback:

“Yori…you weren’t just chosen due to your friendship with Yuuki it’s also due to your ability.” Mr. Cross said to Yori privately in the office.

“My ability?” Yori questioned.

“Yes you see you are a…” Mr. Cross said

End Flashback:

“This ends here.” He said as he began to lift his kunai.

‘NO!’ Yori yelled in her head hoping that something would happen.

“I’m ultimately sorry for you getting involved.” He said as he began to swing down. However just before he made his strike something stopped his arm causing it to not make the target. When he looked at his arm it was a hand holding tightly around his wrist pulling it up. He soon looks up to see that Kaname is holding his wrist while he is surrounded by the other students of the night class.

“Darn it!” He yelled. As he began chanting with only one hand moving through the dirt.

“What he doing?” Aidou question at just the moment.

“PAGUWASONFA!” He said as he raised his free hand into the air with loads of sand following forming a sand storm causing everyone to go blind. Once the storm subsided everything that was there before the interruption was gone excluding Yori.

“What just happened where they all go?” Ichijou question looking for any trace of them.

“Sadly I miscalculated how long this would take.” The lone boy said as he stood on the roof with one hand holding all the bodies of his warriors.

“Come back here and fight!” Zero yelled which caused the boy to become slightly irritated but soon went back to being regular no emotion face.

“No thanks I have to go check in anyway so when we do meet again let’s have a little talk ok? He said just before he vanished.

“What was that?” Yuuki asked as she checked Yori for any wounds and helping her up.

“A tao.” Kaname said staring at the spot he disappeared.

“For now it’s almost dawn lets head in. Miss Yori after class please comes see me.” Kaname said as he and his fellow vampires returned to the moon dorm to sleep. Yori sliently went past the gate and returned to the other dorm.

Meanwhile with said person:

“So is that what your plan is Hiroto?” Asked a buzzed voice from a radio mirror.

“Yes sir. For now I need to know the answer to this girl and to do so I will have to break my ties with slayer.” The boy who name is Hiroto replied.

“Very well than the next time we meet I might have to kill you.” The voice told Hiroto.

“And I’ll be ready.” Hiroto said as the communicator went off and he stared back at the school off the same cliff earlier.

Back at the school ground:

“Well tomorrow I can play but I have to wait till night to unleash my full force.” A female voice said as she walked into the school grounds.

Next chapter:

Yori goes to class with a new student Ouka. However, when it gets to night this chick got a few tricks and the return of Hiroto but as an ally what’s going on here?
