Imagine a world without Kisa, and having a white Tiger in the Zodiac. If you want to see that, then keep reading, cause I'm about to write about it! I'm using my name because it's awesome! x) This time frame starts at the beginning of volume 3.

The White Tiger of the Zodiac

The girl was racing home from school. She could see her breath before her as she ran in the cold and windy winter. This had been the first day of middle school, and the teasing had already started. Tears were streaming down her face and seemed to freeze in the cold air. She had almost been banned from school because of her white and black hair, just like Haru. Her name was Nami Sohma, and she was the tiger in the Zodiac Curse. A white tiger.

Why? Why do I suffer so much? I can't take it anymore! It hurts too much... she thought as she ran. She stopped a few yards from her house. Then why do I go home? She turned and started toward Shigure's house, the only place she could be herself.

She reached the door and knocked, trying to wipe her tears away with her sweater. Yuki answered the door. "Nami? Why are you here? Is everything alright?"

He could see her tears, and he knew why they were there. Teasing...he thought.

"I'm fine, I just wanted to visit. I'm sick of my house," she tried to cover up. Yuki nodded and Nami smiled. He understood. She went in and sat down.

Yuki sat down too. He decided to be bold and ask Nami."So how was school Nami?"

She gave him a look, then looked away and answered in a whisper, "It was... okay... I guess. You?"

"It's been good. Hey, have you met Miss Honda yet?" She looked up, pondering the question and having her eyes brighten. She really wanted to meet the one who might save her and her cousins. She shook her head.

"well, she's at the store right now with that stupid cat, so she'll be home soon if you want to meet her," she smiled with radiance.

"Yay! Of course I want to meet her! Rin and Kagura are no fun to be around anymore. Rin doesn't talk too much now, and Kagura just daydreams about Kyo the entire time,"

She laughed happily, and Yuki laughed with her. They had always gotten along so well, she had such a jolly laugh.

Shigure had woken up from his freaky sleep schedule. He could tell from the laugh that Nami was in the house. He got up and went to the living room. Shigure came up behind Nami and covered her eyes from behind. He faked a low voice and said, "Guess who?!" She laughed. "Shigure!" She got up and turned to give him a squeeze. He ran from her in a simple game of chase. She ran after him through the house. Yuki chuckled.

"Help! Yuki! She's gonna tackle me!" Shigure yelled to Yuki.

"Nope, you're on your own!"

"OOHH! Stop being so cruel!"

As Shigure ran past the front door, Kyo started to open the door for Tohru with the groceries. She made it safely past, but as Kyo entered the house, Nami was running at full speed after Shigure and ran into Kyo with full force, her head jammed into his ribs. He was sent flying to the floor.

"Oww! What the HELL was that?!" he looked up and saw Nami panting and smiling.

"Sorry, you were in my way Kyo," she said between pants.

"In YOUR way?! Oww, my ribs!" he clutched his side and grimaced in pain. Tohru came to see what all the noise was, and saw Kyo on the ground in pain. She kneeled down to see what was the matter. "Kyo?! What happened to you?! Did something hit you?!"

"Uh, Yeah. HER!" he said pointing to Nami. She laughed and rubbed her head, "Oww, your ribs were hard! My head hurts now!"

Tohru got up and bowed before Nami, "It's nice to meet you Nami! My name is Tohru, Tohru Honda!" Nami smiled and bowed as well.

"The pleasure's all mine, Tohru!"

Shigure finally came back. He came up behind Nami and talked in her ear, making her flinch. "Why'd you stop chasing me Nami? Chicken?" He teased and laughed. The hair on her neck raised and she got tense. Teasing, again. She was furious, and looked like she was going to kill Shigure. She turned around and grabbed the neck of his kimono, almost lifting him off the ground. "What you laughin' at huh?! Huh?! I'm gonna hit you so hard, Akito will feel it!" Shigure was scared stiff, and Tohru was awestruck. Is she like Hatsaharu?

Yuki could sense it in her face, "Yes miss Honda, Nami is very much like Haru with the Black and White personalities. Just don't make her more mad, and she'll cool off soon." Kyo just rolled his eyes, "Same old Nami, at it again,"

"Do you want a black eye?! HUH?!" she was still holding Shigure by the collar. Shigure got the courage to speak up, "Nami, Na..mi I REPENT I REPENT! Just let me GO!" You could see her personality change in an instant. She let go of his collar.

"Ah, whatever. Just joking around," She said with a sweet innocent smile. Everyone except Kyo laughed.

Then the door opened. Haru sauntered into the house. Nami gasped when she heard his footsteps. She ran to the doorway and grappled Haru in a tight hug. "Yay! Hi Haru!" He hugged her back and smiled at the young girl.

"Nice to see you, too Nami. How was your first day of school?"

She released him to answer. "Uh, I guess it was okay,"

"Good," and he smiled. "It's time to go home Nami," she pouted. "AWW?! Haru, I wanted to stay longer!"

"Come on, say goodbye to everybody and I'll walk you home," she couldn't argue with him because she had to go home anyway, "Oh... okay,"

She said goodbye to everybody and walked to her house, holding Haru's hand.
