Disclaimer: I don’t own FMA but I do own my idea. I gain no profit whatsoever for this fiction.
AN: This just suddenly hit me and I had to type it. I decided to make another drabble collection to stick any of these drabble bunnies in when I get them.
Canvas of the Past
They knew each other’s darkest secrets, desires, and fears. She knew that he was no hero when it came to his deeds in Ishbal. She’d seen him commit those monstrosities with her own eyes. She'd seen the flames licking at their victim and heard the screams. He’d seen her commit her own. He'd seen her bullets hit their mark and the blood coming from the wounds of the victims. When he called himself a murderer she wouldn’t correct him because she was one as well. They were both murderers, though unwillingly, and they wouldn’t paint a false picture on the canvas of the past. They wouldn’t delude themselves with lies. They were murderers and would remain as such until the canvas on which the stages of their lives were painted was destroyed. It was a canvas that they shared together, for their lives were intertwined too closely and were too similar to be two different paintings.
