Hello all. This is the Clover of Damnation (formally known as the Ivory Rose Illusionist) who is here to bring all of my beloved fans-which are all of you-the revised version of Black Petaled Rose. I plan to make the story even longer-WOOT!-with ideas put back into the storyline that might have been taken out or changed, with ShadAmy put in there, and any mistakes will be fixed. Hope you enjoyed this new REVISED VERSION.

Disclaimer: I do not own Sonic the Hedgehog, but a small hedgehog boy named Dark who's the son of Shadow the Hedgehog and Amy Rose. (Incase anyone is wondering, the reason his name is Dark is because it's suppost to be a synonym to Shadow's names.)

Rating: T for cussing, violence, crude humor, any type of mentioned content, and anything else I might have failed mention.

The bottoms of a pair of white striped red boots clamped against the hard concrete sidewalk that they walked upon. Emerald orbs gazed upon the area underneath the keeper's shoes holding a sadness within the depth of them. Delicate gloved hands enlaced in one another sitting upon the person's stomach as they kept on walking. This sigh was heaved out of her chest emitting from her soft peach lips. Pink ears flattened at accompanying the upset expression shown on the rose hedgehog's features.

Dark charcoal clouds were gathering in the light blue sky forming into an enormous one that was blanketing over the entire area over the famous city of Station Square. Wind speeds were picking up creating a chilling breeze that chilled some while cooling others. This type of darkness covering the vast human metropolise was matching the mood that filled the female hedgehog headed home.

Bubble gum eyelids slid down over those sadened shimmering green eyes bringing Amy to the earlier memory of her day to why she was so upset about:

The rose hedgehog found the object of her desire as well as reason for being on Emerald Coast in the first place: which was the ever so famous Sonic the Hedgehog, who was relaxing under a stipped paracel on a lounge chair wearing a pair of sunglasses. His legs were crossed with the top one swaying to the music of the boom box sitting on the small inn table by his side, which also had some sort of fancy drink on it as well. Those apricot arms of his were stretched out folding his gloved hands behind his head. There was this content smile graced ever so nicely upon his muzzle as he his head rested to the side on the top of the chair he was 'chilling' in.

"Good afternoon Sonic," Amy said cheerfully, but softly to the blue blur taking a seat next to the blue hedgehog's feet. This bright loving grin formed on her lips at seeing the male hedgehog. "I take it you're in a good mood?" Is what she inquired with a giggle that made her place some gloved fingers against her mouth.

A gloved hand moved from the back of Sonic's head using the index finger and the thumb on it to bring the sunglasses from over his eyes, and up to his ears upon his forehead. Jade eyes blinked for about a second before a happy smile was directed up at the pink hedgehog they were looking up at. "Hey Ames!" Said the cobalt hero giving her a wink. "What'cha been up to, oh, and yeah, I'm feeling great!" That was what he asked her making sure to answer her question.

This light tint of red crept onto Amy's peach muzzle staining her cheeks when Sonic had winked at her. "Oh, nothing much, really." She explained giggling embarrassingly looking off towards the ocean to avoid eye contact at the moment, but her eyes looked back over to him when she remembered why she was here in the first place. "You know, my darling Sonic, I was thinking..." Now she closed her eyes clasping her hands together directing her face up towards the sky that was blocked by the beach umbrella. "maybe you and I could go on a wonderful date...I'll even make those chillidogs of mine you like so much. And maybe, just maybe," This heavenly sigh escaped her lips as her known love struck glistening emerald orbs gazed down upon the hedgehog she loved so much. "you can show me those feelings you have for me that you like to keep bottled up..."

Sonic liked hearing about Amy using her culinary skills to make him a batch of homemade chillidogs, but when she started to ramble on about a date and these so-called 'feelings' he frowned. "Whoa, whoa!" He began to protest throwing his gloved hands up over his chest as he sat up. "I'm down for the whole 'you're homemade chillidogs' thing, but Ames, I don't want to go on a 'date'." This grimaced look formed on his lips making his eyes slightly narrow.

Amy's smile changed to a frown when the male hedgehog told her he didn't agree with her date prosition. Those shimmering eyes were now shining of sadness instead of a loving happiness. "Why, why not?" Is what she asked having her voice lose it's cheerfulness. Those gloved hands unlaced sitting not far from Sonic's shoes gripping the waterproof material on them harshly.

The blue blur didn't enjoy seeing that expression upon the rose's face. A gloved hand was sat upon the girl's shoulder while he looked her straight in the eyes with this compassionate look. "Hey, don't fret, Ames, please." Is what he pleaded to her giving her a comforting pat from that same hand. "You're one of my closest friends, and I love you, I really do," He gave her a sad smile. "But not in the way you love me. I'm sorry, but we're still friends, right?"

Rose quills swayed downward when the female hedgehog lowered her head. She couldn't understand why the hero speaking these words to her couldn't return the feelings she held for him deep in her heart, but..."Yeah, we are..." Was what she responded. Amy truly meant that, but at the same time...it broke her heart into itty bitty pieces..."Well, I've got to go. See you later, Sonic..." Amy said quietly getting up from where she sat on the lounge chair walking away from the blue hedgehog.

The way she was acting made Sonic frown sadely. "Ames...?" He asked reaching out a hand to her.

"Bye..." Was all that she spoke as she headed off towards the entrance on the beach.

A rain drop falling upon the top of her head was what brought the pink hedgehog out of her deep thoughts. When she directed her sights up at the smokey colored sky...a down pour of rain began to fall upon her face...Great, Thought the preteen setting her sights foward towards her way home. now I'm going to be soaked by the time I make it home...Was what she thought sighing inwardly and outwardly as she kept on with her walking. Her thoughts brought her back to Sonic, which made her eyes gleam painfully again. It's not fair...I've chase after Sonic for close to five years, and never got him to show any type of affections towards me! The toe of her boot was scuffed when she kicked the top of the sidewalk she was walking upon. I bet he's in love with Sally! So what if she has a womanly figure and a really smart brain...? I-I'm...Tears were gathering in the corners of her eyes now starting to stoll down her damp cheeks. "I'm nothing...no wonder he doesn't..." This hiccup surfaced from her throat balacing off her lips.

The rose hedgehog then came to a stop at the corner of wide fourway near the middle of the city. A gloved hand grasped the metal pole next to her where he thumb came into contact with a button for her to get across the crosswalk painted before her on the asphault. While waiting for the lighted letters to go from NO WALKING to WALK, she leaned up against it sobbing silently. This wasn't what she was planning, let alone expecting! She felt a quarter of her height, and her heart was throbbing in heart brake.

Magenta ears then perked up at the commotion of gasps and murmuring before the she-hog's head shot up setting emerald orbs over to the other side of the street to a small black hedgehog boy running across the street with a...This sharp gasped escaped Amy's lips as she ran from her spot towards that are to save the boy from a speed car that was headed in his direction.

Her trusty piko-piko hammer was wiped out from under her traditional red dress grasped fiercely as she got ready to swing it at the vehicle. An irritated groaned rumbled in her throat. Why can't people learn to drive safetly and correctly when it's raining?! She mentally complained to herself sliding in between the small hedgehog and car.

But before Amy could even raise the hammer clutched tightly in her hands to send upon the transportations hood to stop it...this clear barrier glistening of many bright colors like a diamon formed in between her and it halting it in its tracks!

When the female hedgehog looked behind her at the young male hedgehog, who resembled Shadow quite a lot having jade eyes instead of ruby, his eyes were shining of the color the shield was! "Di-did you do that...?!" Is what she asked him in a baffled tone pointing at the creation.

What she recieved were wide green eyes before he answere with a: "Uh-huh!" Then he jumped at the rose throwing his arms around her screaming; "Mama!" which really had Amy confused now! She had almost fell upon her buttox when the boy had done so.

Now her head was spinning! Ma-mama...?! Who was he talking about?! He can't be referring to me! I don't have any kids! I'm almost thirteen for crypes sake! She asked herself wondering what was going on, and who this miniature Shadow look-a-like was. And before she had much more time to ask herself anymore questions, this lemon-lime light outline her and the boy's body engulfing them causing them to disappear from the area in which they were, had been at!

The two hedgehogs coincidentally reappeared underneath the roof of the top floor of the apartment building right in front of the door or her apartment room! Peach arms were still around the small life form in the rose hedgehog's grasp. His wide emerald eyes peered up at her giving this sweet loving expression. Even though the ebony hedgehog looked about exactly as the Ultimate Life Form...this small pink hue of a blush came to Amy's cheeks...he was so darn CUTE!

"Um..." Amy hummed removing those arms of her from around him. "what is your name?" Was what she asked him giving him question unsure eyes.

Those eyes of the boy's narrowed in this compassionate way as this bright loving smile graced upon his face. "My name is Dark, that is what you named me mama." Cooed the Shadow clone in this sickly sweet tone that made the pink hedgehog melt inwardly.

"About that," Inquired the older of the two pulling out her keys to the front door playing them in the keyhole. "why do you keep calling me that?" And why are you so CUTE?! She asked some more mentally squealing. Her gloved hand turned the knob to the left making the door 'click' expressing that it had been unlocked.

Dark simpled squealed clinging to his mother's arm with his eyes closed in an excited guester. "Because you're my mama, and I love you!" Explained the tiny onyx hedgehog with a short, sweet, and simple answer. But then he remembered he had something important to give her. "Oh yeah," He exclaimed pulling out this maroon circular contraption from out of his left glove, which fit in the palm of his hand. "this is for you, mama, you told me to give it to you."

Grabbing the devise from out of Dark's hand, emerald orbs inspected it up and down and front to back before Amy asked: "What does this do?" She asked setting her sights from the machine down to the boy who claimed to be her son. "Come on inside," Spoke the female ceising his small hand with her bigger one walking him inside her front room. "if we stay out too much longer, we'll catch a cold."

He only shrugged smiling up at her. "I don't know. You only told me to look for you, and how come your hair is shorter? Why are you not as tall as you were? How come your voice sounds different?" Began the cute hedgehog following his mother inside the apartment where she closed the door in behind them.

What he got was a half-heart smile backed up by nervous ignorance. "I'm not sure," Amy laughed embarrassingly. "to tell you the truth..."

"Oh..." That smile of Dark's widened. "okay!" Was what he said naiively as well as adorably.

Amy couldn't take it anymore! Even if the boy looked like that grumpiest Shadow, he was too darn cute, and she just couldn't contain herself as she threw her arms around the sweet little boy embracing him loudly. "Oh, you are just so CUTE!" Shouted the mauve hedgehog moving the both of them from side to side.

Dark only giggled returning the symbol of love having his hands upon her hips since his arms weren't long enough to circle around his mother's frame. His head was buried against her abdomen which he snuggled against having this content expression upon his features. "I love you mama..." He confesses for the third time he had been with her. The tone of his voice holds a soft innocents to it.

Him doing that only intensifies the limbs around him to hug him more tightly as Amy's squeal gets louder. "I don't care if you look like Shadow! I LOVE YOU!" Is what she tells him practically suffocating him unitentionally, of course.

"Mama..." Spoke the mini life form in a muffled way since his face was shoved deeply against his mother's stomach. "can't breathe..."

"Oh!" Shrieks the she-hog releasing Dark from her deadly love grip only to receive another cute expression peered up at her that makes her smother him again!

The contraption in her right hand was placed in her dress pocket. I'll just have to go to Tails' tomorrow, and have him figure out what that thing does... Amy noted mentally. She sat her chin upon the boy's head lightly smiling. It felt nice having someone to love her, for a change. Even if it was just some sort of weird parental love...it was better than being without any type of love...

But then another thought crossed her mind: Wait a minute...if Dark looks like Shadow, but has the same color eyes I have then... Her eyes widened in shocking realization! Oh my GOD! This is mine and Shadow's child!
