Now it’s two weeks later, the day before the show for a dress rehearsal/ sound check thing.

I hope you like it so far! I haven’t gotten any reviews yet!! This is my first story, so I need the feedback!

I was sitting on one of the high bar stools at the bar of our local club, waiting for the Jonas Brothers. My dad made us get there extra early so we wouldn’t have the Brothers wait. I was checking what I decided to wear, wondering if it was alright. I picked out my favorite camo green T-shirt with that red and black punk star on it, which hugged my average figure, my favorite jeans, and my favorite red converse low tops. As I went back to sipping my Shirley Temple, I heard a car pull up outside.

“Dad!” I scream to the back where my dad is balancing the mics. “ I think they’re here!” I run over to the door and open it up. Nick, Joe, and Kevin looking sexy as always were pulling out their guitars and amps. “Um..” I say to the Joe, who’s holding 2 of the amps. “I don’t think you need those,” I point to the amps.

“There, um, back-up,” Joe says smiling, embarrassed . I tried to take one of the amps from him, but he pulled it away from me, and ended up hitting the back of their dad’s minivan. “I got this,” he said embarrassed even more.

“Are you sure?” I say following him and his dad who got out of the minivan while the whole amp thing was going on. “‘Cuz if you’re holding the ‘back-up’ amps then we’re going to need ‘back-back-up’ amps,” I tease Joe. Joe laughed.

“We got those, too,” he said joking back. We put the amps on the stage, while everyone starts warming up. I start singing scales and run through some of the songs, when I notice that Nick, Joe, and Kev have somehow followed me into the room I was warming up in to listen.

“That was amazing!” Nick and Kevin say in unison. I smile, but I was embarrassed that they listened to me, because I messed up a few times and didn’t necessarily demonstrate how I usually sing.

“Hey! That’s what I was gonna say!” Joe says to his brothers. Then he walks over to me. “We never really officially met. My name’s Joe,” he says sticking out his hand to shake.

“Nice to meet you Joe,” I say smiling, reaching out for his hand to shake. After we shook hands, Joe leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. “My name’s Brooke,” I say, still smiling. I was blushing, I could feel my cheeks turning red.

My name’s Nick,” Nick says, with his hand outstretched. After we shook, he kissed my other cheek. How sweet are these boys? I think to myself.

“Yeah, well my name’s-“ Kevin says with his hand outstretched. “Um, what’s my name?” he says, and I could tell he wasn’t kidding.

“Kevin,” I whisper in his ear.

“Right, Kevin,” he says. “My name’s Kevin,” he put his hand out again, and again I took it and shook it. Then, he kissed me. On the lips. I was shocked. It was only a smooch, though, which was alright with me. Joe whistled. And we all laughed. Kevin’s cheeks were burning.

“Come here boys,” I say putting my arms out for a huge group hug. They all cam and we hugged. So, are we gonna get to rehearsing or what?” I say after we all broke apart.

“Psh, yeah!” they all yelled back.

“Well then let’s go!” I say waving my hand towards the door. Me and Nick were leading down the hallway, going towards the stage. Joe was whispering to Kevin, and I just pretended I didn’t hear a word, even though I heard each one loud and clear. He said “Is she the coolest, hottest girl you’ve ever seen?” I smiled to myself, it didn’t look like Nick heard anything, he was just heading towards his keyboard. Kevin got his guitar, and Joe took the mic.

“Um, Joe?” I say walking towards him.

“Yeah?” he said. He looked confused.

“My dad and I are playing first. Then you guys take over.” I say smiling and pointing to all three Brothers.

“Oh. Rightt,” Joe said heading towards the right wing of the stage. He turned around. “Good luck,” he said before kissing me on the cheek again.

“Thanks, I’ll need it,” I say towards the right wing. My dad and Mr. Jonas were still talking about guitars. “Yeah, I think Gibson and Fender are two of the better guitar companies,” my dad was telling Mr. Kevin Jonas.”Uh, dad,” I say speaking into the mic. My dad looked up, then sprinted to the stage, guitar in his hand.

“All right let’s hit it!” my dad screamed. This is when my dad is embarrassing. I count down, like all the other times practicing in our tiny little gray basement. But it felt good with the lights shining on my face and the mic in my hand. Everything went great, and once our part was over, my dad’s face and mine was glistening with sweat. I looked over at Mr. Jonas and the bartender and both of them put their thumbs up and were smiling.

I headed backstage, and noticed all the Brothers smiling and waiting.

“Ew, your all sweaty!” Joe teased when he embraced me in a hug. “But, you guys were great!”

“Why thank you, now good luck to you!” I say, kissing his cheek before giving him the mic. Joe was smiling while he went to his place on the stage I high-fived Nick and Kevin, who both complimented my dad and I. I took the stool I was sitting on before and waited for the boys to start.

As always, the Brothers sounded great, and I told them that as they got off stage. We all cooled off by drinking our free water, thanks to Mr. Smith, the bartender.

“So how did we do?” Joe asked sitting in the seat across from me at the table I picked out.

“Um, do u have short-term memory loss or something?” I ask, because I said “you did great” a

thousand times already.

“Um, no, or at least I don’t think so,” I Joe says. Nick and Kevin slapped their hands to their foreheads. I laughed.

“Okay, well anyway I said before that you guys were awesome!” I inform Joe. He was still sweaty even though he’s been offstage for more than 10 minutes.

“C’mon boys!” Papa Jonas called to the boys. Joe, Kevin, and I though of the nickname a few minutes after we were all offstage and they were packed and everything.

“Kay!” they all said in unison. The boys and I stood up, I said bye to them and I hugged them , and they kissed me, yet again.

“See ya tomorrow!” I shouted as their van pulled away. Nick was standing up on the seat, with his head out the sunroof, and Joe and Kevin were sticking their heads out each window, and they were all blowing kisses to me. I laughed, blew a few back, and got ready for heading back home myself.
