A/N: Back for round two. Thanks for the reviews, and without any further ado, here’s the next chapter.

Disclaimer: I wish I owned Kingdom Hearts. You know, for that matter, I wish I owned Roxas. Too bad I don’t.

God, I hate history class. An hour and a half listening to Mr. Leonheart talk about dates and documents and God knows what else. It sucks. Roxas was doing his best to be patient until biology, his only class with Aerith. However, he was beginning to have trouble waiting it out, especially since the very cause of his impatience was sitting right in front of him.

Damn, she’s beautiful. She’s just… perfect. It was going to be hard to wait for this period to end.

However, he held on through the knowledge that in only thirty more minutes, he would very likely be receiving help in asking Naminé out.

Naminé… I love that girl so much. And it shouldn’t be so damn hard to ask her out!

“Roxas? Are you paying attention?” asked Mr. Leonheart impatiently.

“Uhh… No.”

“Stay after class, would you?” Oh shit. Good job, Roxas.

--

“Well, Roxas. I’d like to discuss the reason you haven’t been paying attention in my class.”

“W-well…”

“It wouldn’t have anything to do with a certain young lady that sits in front of you, would it?” he asked, smirking. Roxas was dumbfounded.

“How did you…?”

“Ha! You know, It wasn’t very long ago that I was in the same position. So, what’s the problem? She got a boyfriend?”

“No, I just… I can’t work up the nerve to ask her out. It sucks! It shouldn’t be so hard,” Roxas said.

“Well, as much as I pity your position, that doesn’t give you the right to not pay attention. I suggest you either man up and ask her or just give up, because your grades are starting to slip,” Mr. Leonheart replied. “Now, go ahead and go to your next class.”

“Yes, sir.”

--

“Okay, class. We’re going to be dividing up into pairs for this project. Everyone go ahead and pick a partner, and when you’re all finished, I’ll tell you what you’re doing,” instructed the biology teacher, Mr. Ansem. Ansem was actually his first name, but he refused to go by anything else. Roxas quickly located Aerith, his long-time biology partner.

“Hey, Roxas. How are you today?” she asked serenely. She was always so calm, it actually kind of scared Roxas. But, he still liked her, especially since she was so good at biology.

“Okay. But Aerith, can I ask you something?”

“Sure, what do you--” she was cut off by Mr. Ansem’s booming voice.

“Now, we’ve been studying different types of ecosystems, so I am going to assign a different one to each pair. Now, once you have your ecosystem, you are going to make a presentation about it.” Mr. Ansem then called out everyone’s assigned ecosystem, and they began working.

Roxas and Aerith both opened their books and began looking for information on their assigned ecosystem, marine.

“So Aerith, I have a favor I need to ask,” Roxas began, nervously.

“Yes?” she asked, not looking up from the book. God, I’m gonna sound like such an idiot!

“Well… could you help me ask Naminé out?” he blurted, blushing a deep shade of crimson. Aerith looked up, surprised.

“Well, I could certainly try, but… how could I help?”

“I don’t know! It’s just, every time I try to talk to her, I end up sounding like an idiot. I figured that since you were a girl, maybe you could help me…” he replied.

“Well… I don’t really know. I suppose that the best thing to do would be to just ask her. Maybe ask if she wants to go to a movie or something,” she ventured.

“Okay, ask if she wants to go to a movie. I can do that. What movie?” asked Roxas.

Aerith thought for a moment. “Well… I don’t know. Maybe you could ask Selphie about that part?”

“But she’s the biggest gossip in the school! If I tell her, everyone in school will know in five minutes!” Roxas wailed.

“Well… maybe I could ask her for you. I mean, if I asked, she would just think I wanted to know a good movie. Nothing suspicious about that, right?” she asked, smiling serenely.

“Would you please?” Roxas pleaded. Aerith nodded. “Thank you so much, you have no idea how much help you’ve been!”

“Anytime, Roxas. But let’s get to work now.”

A/N: Damn. Sorry it took so long to update. I kind of lost access to my laptop to a while. But I’ll be updating more often now, although it’ll be far from regular. Anyone who’s still stuck with it, thanks.
