SUMMARY: OK, this idea just popped into my head. Jess gets his hands on a day-turner. He goes back to the day where he went to the museum and changes the outcome.

Jess walked into an antique store about a month after the death of his friend, Leslie’s death.

A woman who looked to be about 18 years old stood behind the counter. She had long, curly brown hair, and almost barley unequal teeth. Her hair looked as if it hadn’t met a comb in its entire life.

“Hi. How can I help you?” The woman asked

“I’m just looking around.” Jess replied.

Suddenly, a golden, well he didn’t really know what it was, it looked like an hourglass inside of a necklace.

“Miss, what is this item?”

“Oh, that item? It is called a day-turner. According to legend, it can turn back days at a time, depending on how many times you spin the hourglass. But of course, this is only a legend. Nobody could tell you if it were true or not because even if it were true, the person using it would have a time in mind, and then, once they get to that time, and if they are trying to do something, like say, prevent a death, it would disappear. The person using it would instantly forget after the deed was finished. But like I say, I don’t think that it would really work.”

Jess, however, wasn’t paying attention. He stopped after ‘prevent a death’.

“I’ll take it. How much is it?”

“Sir, were you paying attention. It would be a waste of money. It doesn’t work. It’s a toy.”

“I still want it. It, uh, would be a fun toy for my little sister.”

“OK, it’ll be 15.00.”

“Quite a bit, but, uh, my sister will love it.”

Jess paid the woman and walked out of the antique shop.

He instantly ran to the nearest alley way and pulled out the instructions.

Think of a date in history, and a thing that you want to do if you need. Then, simply twist the hourglass the number of days divided by ten. For instance, if you wanted to go back thirty day, you twist it three times. You will instantly be transported to that time and place.

“Well, here goes nothing.” Thought Jess aloud.

He thought of the date, thirty days ago, the day that Leslie had died, the rope leading into Terabithia, and even ten minuets before Ms. Edmunds had called him.

“Best be specific.” He said.

He took the hourglass in hand, spun it three times, and closed his eyes.

A/N: OK, there was the first chapter. This will probably be a two-shot unless people want more. Please review honestly. Also, if anybody can tell me the crossovers you get a cookie.
