UPDATE

Sadly, Simon finally had to be put down yesterday. He started showing signs of pain and we couldn't let him suffer. To the very end he was a trooper, hanging on as long as he possibly could to be with us, trying to eat even when we could tell he didn't really want to, sleeping on my bed, purring in our arms, and giving out love. He will be greatly missed.
