Bessie Higgenbottom: An Urban Ranger?!

Bessie has been bored with the Honeybees and wanted a new challenge. What will this lead to? Read on and find out.

Warning: Some characters may not be in character as the show; so don't mention it on the reviews.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Mighty B! and Ed, Edd, n' Eddy.

Chapter 1: The Urban Ranger Discovery.

As Bessie finish getting one of the hardest badges from the Honeybee, star in her own show, she stared at the badge, and then sighed.

"What's the matter, Bessie? You've got the Show Starring Badge!" Penny told.

"I know, Penny. But I don't think that the Honeybee is a big challenge for me. I need a bigger challenge!" Bessie cried.

"You mean like the my finger's challenge to my ear?" Penny asked.

"Kinda like that; but it has to be what I can do. I have to find something harder to do!!" Bessie cried.

(Moments later, Portia and Gwen walked over to Bessie).

"Why are you whining so loud? It's late, and I need my beauty rest!" Portia complained.

"She doesn't want to wind up looking like you tomorrow!" Gwen yelled.

"Sorry Portia. It's just that I need to find a challenge bigger than the Honeybee," Bessie explained.

"Why don't you just quit the Honeybee and get out of my sight?" Portia advised and left.

"Here's another challenge for you; shut it up already!!" Gwen said and followed Portia.

"Hmm...Portia is right! I have to give up the Honeybee!" Bessie said.

"But Bessie! You're so close! You only have 4000 more badges to go!" Penny said.

"Maybe there's someone else that could be the Mighty B," Bessie sighed and went home.

"...Who was she, and what have she done with Bessie?" Penny said and then left.

(At Bessie's house.)

"YOU'RE GIVING UP THE HONEYBEE?!" Hilary and Ben yelled while happy howled.

"I'm afraid so, guys. It's no so much of a challenge anymore," Bessie said.

"But Bessie! You can't just give up on something just because it's boring! You have to strive for the prize; then get bored with the prize, never the challenge," Ben speeched.

"Look, Ben. You only say that because you want to be my sidekick when I become the Mighty B. But it won't happen no longer," Bessie said going to her room.

(As Bessie lie on her bed, she felt a poking on her shoulder...it was Finger).

"Oh, hello, Finger. I'm not in the mood for games tonight," Bessie sighed.

Then Finger went by her ear.

"You're really with me on quitting the Honeybee? Even I don't think it's wise. I may not find a bigger challenge," Bessie said.

"..." Finger pointed out.

"Urban Ranger?! Who are they?" Bessie asked.

Finger pulled out a brochure describing the Urban Rangers.

"'Come to Peach Creak for a ride of your life with the Urban Rangers.' That sounds fun, actually! Finger, you always know how to cheer me up," Bessie said.

(A few minutes later, Bessie went to her mom's room to tell her about the discovery.)

"Bessie; it's 3:30 in the morning. Can't this wait later on?" Hilary asked.

"No can do, mom. This brochure may be the answer to my problem," Bessie said.

(Hilary then read the brochure for a minute and then sighed).

"Alright, Bessie; I'll see what I can do. You just have to get your leader's okay," Hilary said and then went to sleep.

(4 1/2 hours later, Bessie rush to Mary Francis for her departure.)

"Excuse me, Mary Francis. I was wondering if I could...you know...quit the Honeybee?" Bessie asked.

"Yes! Please! Just go away! Be free!!" Mary Francis cried. Then she noticed Bessie looking at her confused.

"Sorry, Bessie. What I meant to say is this. HURRY UP AND LEAVE! AND NEVER RETURN AGAIN, YOU BADGE STEALING SON OF A GUN!!" she 'corrected' herself.

(After that, Bessie left the Honeybee to go back home. But Portia and Gwen eavesdropped on Bessie for who knows why.)

"I can't believe it! That nerd is actually leaving the Honeybee!" Gwen pointed out.

"Yes, my friend. And that means I...I mean, we, could get every badge and become Bessie's precious superhero," Portia said as both her and Gwen laughed.

(After the departure of the Cafe, an hour later, Bessie and Happy were dropped off at Peach Creek.)

"Thanks for sticking with me on this one, Happy," Bessie said.

Moments later, three people with a finger flag is heading towards Bessie and Happy.

"Hello? Who is this? Speak up! We don't have all day!" The leader complained.

"Bessie and Happy Higgenbottom reporting for duty," Bessie said as Happy barked.

"What is this? A female and a dog? Poppycock! There is no excuse for this mockery!" The leader yelled.

"Come on, Rolf! We always need something new in our group," the bald-headed scout said.

"Okey-Dokey, then. But we can't let you skip in our Scouting like a dippidy doo," Rolf said.

"Why not...and what's 'dippidy doo?'" Bessie asked.

"Due to three nincompoops who could handle such tasks, we decide to twist the regerstration a little bit. Ranger Jimmy! Ranger Johnny! Reveil the obstacle course!" Rolf orders them.

(Once the course was reveiled, it was like the one on 'Ed or Tails.')

"All you have to do is to skidattle through the field of bushes, skidattle pass the goat of maturity, then skidattle straight to the finish, all while balancing an egg on your nose," Rolf said.

"This is not an easy task. Many have tried; all have failed...actually, only 4 people tried this," Johnny said.

"Are you two ready for this obstacle?" Jimmy asked.

"I'm ready when you are," Bessie said.

How will Bessie and Happy fair on the obstacle? Stay in touch for next time.

A/N: Again, some characters, especally Bessie, are not in their characters. Because in the show, Bessie will NEVER leave the Honeybee. So don't remind me about character or not. Just R/R.
