Happy Birthday Itachi!!
Itachi's Birthday Wishes
by JazzAndi
Itachi's POV
I wandered through the vast forests. Trees were everywhere I looked, littereing the land green. I hated the color green.
Why did it have to be like this? It was my birthday! Why couldn't I rest? Nobody ever gave me a chance to voice my opinions. Not that I would, even if I had a chance, however. That was beside the point.
As I was walking, Deidara and Sasori at my side (A.N. Sasori never got killed, but the normal group is seventeen), a flash of pink shot out through the hideous green. A flash of blue, yellow, and grey also flashed by after the pink.
"What was that, un?" Deidara asked, reaching into his pockets, getting prepared for an attack. I activated my sharingan, preparing for an attack also with narrowed eyes.
"Sakura!" a voice shouted. Hatake Kakashi, the famous Copy-Nin. My eyes narrowed to thin slits. This was going to be interesting.
"Sakura, slow down!" Sasuke's voice shouted out. Great. Now I had to deal with my foolish little brother on my birthday. What an excellent birthday present that would be? Notice the sarcasm.
"Sakura, if you don't slow down, I'll break in to your apartment again and-" the Copy-Nin stopped and froze mid-leap. So did the Kyuubi vessel and Sasuke.
"You did what?!" Naruto shouted. Kakashi winced and started running again. They all disappeared. We relaxed slightly and started walking on.
An hour later I felt a chakra presence coming at us at an alarming speed. A flash of pink ran right into me, knocking me into the ground. It was that Sakura girl, the strong medic. Boy, she was strong enough to knock me to the ground, and that was for sure.
"S-s-sorry!" she gasped out, struggling to get up. Feeling slightly amused, I grabbed her arms, preventing her from getting up. She struggled as hard as she could and kept glancing over her shoulder.
I stood up and drug her up to a standing position. She was still attempting to run away. Minutes later her teammates appeared, looking extremely pissed.
"Haruno Sakura! When I say stop, I mean STOP!!" Kakashi shouted, advancing dangerously forward.
Just what I wanted. Some excitement for my grand old birthday. I pulled Sakura closer and put my arm around her neck. A kunai appeared in my hand; I pressed it tightly against her neck.
"Itachi, let her go."
Sasuke thought he could controll me, now did he? Let's see about that.
"Oh? Foolish little brother. I want to keep this one," I said, my lips forming a smirk. Sasuke scowled at me, and the Kyuubi clenched his fists.
Sakura continued to wrestle in my arms. Feeling impatient, I knocked her out via her neck. Unfortunately for me, she seemed to wake up instantly. That's what I get for trying to harm Konoha's Greatest Medic.
"Itachi, for the last time. Give. Me. Back. My. Cherry. Blossom." Sasuke continued to say through gritted teeth.. I found that even more amusing than before. Little Sasuke? In love? You didn't hear that every day.
"As I said before, Sasuke: what if I want my own cherry blossom?" I asked, raising one of my eyebrows. Sasuke laughed emptilly.
"Itachi, you don't want anything," he scoffed. My eyebrow shot up even higher.
"It's my birthday. I think I deserve a present, and she'll do just fine," I told him coolly. Kakashi took a menacing step closer.
"I say you find a different present," Kakashi said, his tone firm. I chuckled darkly. Sakura had stopped struggling and was waiting for a chance to break free.
"Well, okay. Pein-sama told us to go celebrate my birthday by destroying Konoha. I guess I'll just do that," I shrugged, starting to walk towards Konoha with the girl.
"NO!" Sakura shouted. She kicked and struggled, trying to break free. The others merely backed away.
"Take me instead!" she begged. My eyebrows rose once more. A sacrifice to her village? What a noble way to be kidnapped. I'm sure she would love that.
"Fine then; I won't attack the village. Come along now Sasori, Deidara; we're heading back to base 539," I stated. The others were about to attack; I could feel it. With that knowledge, I looked over my shoulder.
"Come after us and I'll kill her and destroy Konoha. One kuniochi for the sake of the village. I think it's a pretty good deal," I said. They froze and turned, runnning back for Konoha.
I didn't really care, though; I had my birthday present.
My birthday wish was fulfilled.
A.N.--I spelled Kuniochi wrong, so sorry. I wrote this for Itachi's birthday. It's a one-shot, unless a bunch of people review wanting another. Maybe then I will write a second chapter, but I have to have people who want another chapter. If you have any questions, feel free to review and ask. Until next time.
