Summary: Rachel thinks about Joey. Set shortly after the end of the series.

Gazing across at Emma, her head resting atop Mr Bugsy’s and her little arms wrapped tightly around his torso as she slept, Rachel couldn’t help thinking about Joey and all they had gone through together. She thought about falling in love with him. About them breaking up, even before they’d had a chance to begin, and with a sigh she wondered why pangs of love still came to her after all this time.

She was happy with Ross, wasn’t she? Happy with the life they had made together?

Yet, a part of her couldn’t release what she felt deep inside.
