It had been almost a month since Luke had last stood here at the station. Then, he’d stood behind the pillar, not letting Noah know he was there as he watched the love of his life leave town, headed only God knew where.

And then came the late night phonecall. He’d said he was sorry; he’d needed some time to clear his head; was it too late?

Now Luke stood there with a smile and tears running down his cheeks.

They kissed and hugged for what felt like hours.

“Welcome home, Noah.”

He’d tell him the other three words tonight.
