A/N: This is the ninth chapter of the revised version of New Type of Hosts! I am sure that to all have been waiting for this one huh? XD Anyway here it goes!

Chapter 9: Over the River and Through the Jungle, Part I

It was 3:38 PM, and there was nothing more that Higurashi-Taisho Kagome wanted to do, but go to sleep. There was nothing else for her to do anyway.

Yawning loudly, Kagome ran a hand through her bangs lazily making the female students around her blush. Haruhi, whom was walking next to her, was wide awake and watched her cousin with amusement. As they came to the front of the school, the screech of tires reached their ears. Turning their head in the direction of the sound, Kagome noticed that other students were looking as well. Rubbing one of her eyes sleepily, the Rebel-host saw the limo.

Pulling up right next to them, the two females-in-male-clothing watched as the window slid down to reveal Tamaki. The blonde was still wearing his school uniform, but he had a flower necklace and shades covering his eyes. Looking up at them from behind his shades, he grinned. “Hikaru…Kaoru.” Staring at him questioningly, Kagome and Haruhi’s arms were then in the grasp of the two twins.

“What the hell!?”

Suddenly Kagome and Haruhi were pulled off to who knows where, while the window of Tamaki’s limo slid up not showing the calmly amused smirk on his face.

Now here they were, and the two cousins couldn’t help the blank stare on their face. “Seriously where the hell are we?” A light breeze pass through their hair, making them give a content sigh. Though they had no idea as to where they were, it wasn’t a lie that it was pretty nice. Stretching her arms above her head, Kagome ran a hand through her silky tresses idly.

“Well I am going to be taking a dip in a few minutes anyway, how about you Haruhi?”

Shaking her head, she looked towards the taller girl. “I’m not really in the mood for swimming today.” Nodding, Kagome then turned her head in Tamaki’s direction, whom was currently lying underneath an umbrella in a beach chair. “So, is there any specific reason as to why we are here Ero-senpai?” Chuckling, the King of the Host club pulled his sunglasses from his face.

“Today is a vacation for the Host Club, after all even we perfect beings need a break from reality.”

Placing her hands on her shorts-clad hips, she rolled her eyes. “Then we are here to have a break from all of those screeching harpies then?” Sputtering, Tamaki sat up in his chair and looked at Kagome in shock. “Now Kagome-chan, you shouldn’t talk about the costumers! We live to serve them after all.” Crossing her arms, the female turned her head to the side.

The unwanted daughter of the Taisho family had to admit that the area was very beautiful. Lush green was visible all around, as well as many tropical flowers, and beautiful clear water. It was practically paradise on earth…or at least that is what it was probably supposed to be. Standing next to Haruhi, they both watched the stoic host swim. Kagome herself was impressed after all; he was cutting through that water like a hot knife through butter.

Glancing over at Haruhi, she smirked as she saw her cousin was captivated by Mori.

‘Well I guess I was right then…’

“Haru-chan! Gome-chan!”

Looking down at Hunny, the two couldn’t help but smile. Though the boy was their upperclassman, he was very cute. Something about his cuteness sometimes made Kagome want to mother him. He was just too adorable. “Yeah, what’s up?”

Smiling widely, he asked them what they would like to drink. “Hmmm…I would like to try some Coconut juice.” Looking at Kagome, he watched as the girl said she would have the same as Haruhi. Going off to get their drinks, he left the two girls to watch Mori as he swam. After a few minutes, Hikaru and Kaoru came and stared at the two questioningly.

“Why are you two wearing those parkas?”

Running a hand through her hair, she sighed and tilted her head in Tamaki’s direction. “Apparently as our ‘father’, Ero-senpai has said that we shouldn’t be showing our skin until were married…but on that thought…” Grabbing onto the bottom of the parka, she ripped it off instantly showing off her bathing suit. On her body was a black bikini with flames on the top, the suit stuck to her shapely body like a second skin. Swinging the parka over her shoulder, she grinned over at Haruhi.

“…When have I ever listened to Ero-senpai?”

Shaking her head in amusement, she shrugged as she looked at the twins. “I really don’t care, besides I didn’t really want to be here in the first place.” Noticing the silence, the brown-haired host looked around. Tamaki and the twins were staring at Kagome gapping in shock. Amusement was radiating off of Haruhi, as she watched them suddenly flush a deep red color.

“K-KAGOME-CHAN!!!”

Turning to look at Tamaki, she gave him a blank look as she noticed he was pointing at her. “What do you want Ero-sempai?” Blushing, he continued pointing at her. “THAT BATHING SUIT IS INDECENT!” Placing her hands on her hips, she scowled.

Looking down at herself, she brought her hands to her chest. “I like this bathing suit…I think it accentuates my figure well.” Getting up from his seat, he was by her side with angry expression. “You shouldn’t want to wear something like that, especially with these scrupulous twins around!!” Shaking themselves out of their dazes, they glared at the blonde. “WHO ARE YOU CALLING SCRUPRLOUS!?”

The two cousins looked at each other before sighing. Really what was with these guys? Glancing at them from the corner of her eye, Haruhi shrugged. “Well while Kagome doesn’t really care what kind of pool she swims in, I prefer the inflatable pools. Using her arms, she tried to give them a description. Unfortunately, the twins thought she was describing an airboat.

Rolling her eyes, Kagome tuned them out as she decided that she was going for a swim. Dashing towards the water, she jumped into the air making forward flips. With a splash she was in the water, and she felt the current pulling her. Immediately, she swam in the opposite way of the current along with Mori. He looked over at her, and he only received a grin.

After a few minutes, the she decided that she had enough and got out. Stepping out of the pool, she tilted heads to get the water out of her ears. Opening her eyes, Kagome noticed that her coconut juice was on the table as Haruhi was already drinking one. Also she noticed that her baby cousin was watching Mori again. With a smirk she walked over towards Haruhi, and pushed her bottom jaw up to close her mouth.

When Haruhi looked up at her, she tilted her head and winked.

“Couldn’t let you catch flies now.”

Blushing, the natural host glared at her laughing companion.

“Haru-chan! You want to swim with me since Gome-chan already took a swim with Takeshi?”

Shaking her head, she smiled at the small boy. “No, that’s okay.” Instead of feeling sad, he fiddled with the float around his waist. “This is really cute neh?” Nodding, she watched as Hunny squealed and ran towards the water with a large smile.

Leaning her cheek against her palm, she gave the boy a smile herself. “That swimming tube fits his Lolita image…though sometimes I suspect that he has some ulterior motive to being so cute.”

“HO! HO! HO!”

Everyone’s heads snapped up and looked towards the strange laugh. Up out of the ground a podium appeared, and Renge stood atop it in a bikini with a tattoo on her mid-section and was holding an umbrella. Quickly the twins pushed the parka on her chair onto her body, hiding her real gender from the girl before she saw. When she finally looked at them, her eyes landed on Kagome and she looked smugly.

“I knew that you would have some idea of what was going on Kagome-kun!”

Tamaki looked at the girl questioningly, “Why are you dressed like that Renge-san?” She went into an explanation about her cosplaying as Kisragi Quon from Rahxephon. Slapping her head in frustration, Kagome wondered when the girl would just leave them to their vacation. After she was finished she laughed once more, and the platform disappeared once more. While Kagome and Haruhi sat down in their chairs with deadpanned looks on their faces, the twins decided that they would like to have a water gun fight.

“Hey Milord! How about we have a water gun fight!”

Playful they pumped up their super soakers in order to get ready. Scoffing, Tamaki crossed his arms and turned his nose up at them. “I am not going to participate in such a childish game…” The silence that met his words got to him, and he looked back at the twins only to see them with their arms around Haruhi and Kagome (whom was once again without her parka). Violet eyes narrowed as he watched the ‘scrupulous’ twins, trying to propose to his two precious daughters. Instantly he had a super soaker of his own, and he was pumping it up to take the two out.

Kaoru and Hikaru grinned mischievously at their manipulation of their King, and the two cousins could only roll their eyes. They couldn’t believe how easily those two manipulate the drama King. Snapping her head in the direction of the water, Haruhi watched as Mori coming out of the water. A slight blush formed on her cheeks, and a Cheshire grin slithered on Kagome’s face at the sight. If she wasn’t reading too much into this, then her cousin seemed to have a crush forming on tall, silent, and handsome.

Getting up from her chair, Haruhi went over to him and offered him a drink. Accepting the offer, he grasped the bottle of water that she handed him. Crossing her arms under her chest, Kagome was already cooking up schemes to get her cousin together with Mori. ‘While you may be embarrassed now cousin, you will thank me for this in the long run!’ Looking over at the other hosts, she noticed that the water gun fight between Tamaki and the twins was heating up.

Surprise was clearly seen on Kagome’s face, because she didn’t think that Tamaki would last this long going against two people. Watching the battle ensue, she cheered for her Ero-senpai. Hey, maybe pumping him up will make this fight more interesting! Tamaki looked over at her, and a fire ignited in his eyes. Throwing himself over to the side, he shot bursts of water out at the twins and they ducked behind a small figure.

The smirk on his face was wide, before he stepped on a banana peel. Emerald-gold eyes widened as she watched the blonde host, fall back and hit his head against a Totem pole. Getting up from her chair, Kagome made her way over to Tamaki with worry visible on her face. “Ero-senpai, Are you alright!?” Even the Twins put down their water guns and made their way over to the semi-unconscious blonde.

Looking at each other, they stuck their tongues out.

“That is what milord gets showing off like that.”

After Kagome checked his head, she looked at the Totem pole and was surprised that all the eyes were now a crimson color. “HUNNY-SENPAI!!” Snapping her head over towards the pool, she saw a huge wave appear and was going to hit Hunny. “MITSUKUNI!” Mori ran towards the pool to save the child-like senior, but he also tripped on a banana peel.

The wave came down and Hunny disappeared under the surface of the water.

Haruhi ran towards Mori, and placed a hand onto his shoulder in concern. “Are you okay Mori-senpai?” But despite her worded concerns, his eyes were on the spot that was previously occupied by Hunny. Kagome clenched her fist, and looked around. It seemed that an old saying she heard was true.

If one thing goes wrong then…

“ALLIGATORS!”

Turning around, she saw Tamaki and the twins pointing towards the reptiles in fear. Sighing, she smacked herself in the head in frustration.

…It all goes wrong at once…or something like that.

Ha! I am sure that you all are happy that I updated huh? Two chapters in one day, well three updated things including the second chapter of Eerie Miko! I will be back soon with the next update, but I hope that you will all be patient as I am trying to update as quickly as possible.
