Mazes and Wedgies

It was very spooky in the house, especially when it was nightime and all the Ghosties and Ghoulies came out. The gang were all sat in one room, waiting for the first task to be announced.

"I wonder what the first task will be?" Gabriella wondered as she played with her hair. "Maybe we'll have to play twister with a ghost" said Zeke. A frightened scream came from Sharpay. "Oh, oh, I'm not doing that, I can't do it" she wailed. Ryan rolled his eyes and shook his head. Just then, funeral music echoed around the room and the spooky voice spoke. "Good evening fellow challengers. I would like to inform you that the first task will take place in the maze that is outside, and this task is for Gabriella and Sharpay". Sharpay let out a wailing scream and Gabriella looked nervous. "In the maze you both must find the golden sphere, it is hidden within the maze, If you succeed you both will recieve a special reward, if you fail then you'll both spend the night in the extremely haunted room, muhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha". Sharpay was shaking and Gabriella looked scared also.

"So" said Troy turning to them "you guys gonna do it or what?". Gabriella got to her feet and sighed. "Well, if the creepy voice says we've got to do, then we must do it". She turned to Sharpay who was sobbing again. "Come on Sharpay, we have to do this" said Gabriella as she offered her hand to the terrified Valley Girl.

"I'm not doing it, I'll get lost in that maze I know I will" she replied then bursting into tears. "You won't, because I'll be with you" said Gabriella in a sort of comforting voice. Relunctantly, Sharpay got up and followed Gabriella out of the room. "Good luck ladies" called Chad. "Arrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhh, somethings got meeeeeeee" cried Ryan in a high pitched voice. Zeke, Chad, Troy and Kelsey turned around and saw Ryan hung in mid-air by his under-pants. "Somethings giving me a wedgie" he squealed.

"Oh my god" said Troy trying not to laugh. "Don't just stand there, do something" he wailed. Then, without warning the invisible entity let go of Ryan and he landed spread eagel, flat on his face.

"Is it gone?" he said in a muffly voice. Everyone nodded.

Meanwhile, Gabriella and Sharpay were having no luck in finding the golden sphere.

"This is completly hopeless, I wish I wasn't doing this. I wish I was back home, getting a manicure or a face treatment" complained Sharpay. "Come on, we can get through this" replied Gabriella in a comforting yet nervous voice. Just then, Sharpay broke into song.

Back in the house, Chad was the one getting a wedgie this time. "Get it off meeeeeee, get it off meeeeeeeeeeeeee" he bellowed. Troy was swinging a broom around, trying to hit the invisible spirit. He suddenly felt a tug on his undies and felt himself being lifted from the ground. "Eeeeeeek, It's giving me a wedgie" he cried in a squeaky voice.

"Chad's still got a wedgie, I think there's more of them" explained Kelsey before feeling herself from being pulled up from the ground. Soon, the five of them were all retrieving wedgies.

Elsewhere, the girls were still having no luck in finding the sphere. "I told you we'll get lost" said Sharpay in a nervous voice. "I think you're right" replied Gabriella in the same voice. Just then, a strong wind blew through the maze and all the entrances had been sealed off. So now, Sharpay and Gabriella were trapped in the maze.

"What is the meaning of this?" screamed Sharpay, stamping her foot. "You cannot leave the maze until you have completed the task" echoed the spooky voice. "No" cried Sharpay "we'll be here for days".
