HELLO HALLOWEEN FANS!

MICHAELLOVER AND SHADOW SAIYAN13 PROUDLY PRESENT:

FRIDAY THE 31ST!

Chapter One

Walking to school was always a pain.

The morning was hot and sticky. It was the last day of school for Stephen and he wasn’t to happy about it.

The end of school meant summer, which also meant a vacation that Harriette has been planning since Christmas. A camping trip to

forest green.

It would just be him. And Harriette. Alone. In a cabin together. He shuttered at the thought of what might happen in that situation.

All he knew was that it was going to suck. No wild parties. No friends. He sighed as he walked up to his school, East High School.

Sara was there to greet him. “Hey, what's up?” She asked. Stephen smiled.“Nothing, just stuff.” Sara nodded. “All right, I will see you

at lunch!” “Ok, see you then,” Stephen said. He dashed into the school so he wouldn’t be late. Again. He lockered and went to

homeroom. “One last day of learning,” Stephen said to himself.

Later at Lunch

--

“It should be fun,” Sara said. Stephen sighed. “I doubt it.” He put his face into his hands. “How do you know.” Sara said. “None

of my friends are coming” Stephen said. “Maybe you’ll meet some new people.” Stephen lifted his head and stood up.“Sara, i just

really don’twant to go. Its going to be boring. I can tell” Sara stood up too, “Stephen, you are acting like a little kid.You should be

happy, its thelast day of school!” He sat back down again and said, “School is probably better than this vacation.”Sara groaned,

“Youare unbelievable! It’s just a vacation Stephen, its not like you have to go to summer school.”

“I Would rather go to summer school than on this vacation!” Stephen said, his voice getting louder. “Have you ever heard of the

town Forest Green??” “No, but just suck it up. It’s just a vacation Stephen, and its not even for that long.”Sara said. “Oh, like a week

is a short time!” Stephen said. “Ok fine! Call me when you stop acting like a two year old.” Sara said and walked out of the lunch

room. Stephen sighed again. “Sometimes I just don’t get girls.” He said aloud.

After School

--

The last baseball game of the school year had just ended. Stephen hadn’t played as much because he was off thinking about how Sara

felt after the argument. He felt bad for saying all of those things to her. It wasn’t her problem. It was his problem. Just then he had a

strange feeling. Likesomeone was watching him. Stephen turned around and saw a man with a white mask and wearing blue overalls.

He was really tall and he was juststaring at him. Stephens face turned pale. He ran home before the maskedman could follow him.

“Hello dear,” Harriette said as he walked in. “Hi,” He said. “What??”Harriette asked. “I said HI.” Stephen said. “WHAT!?”She

yelled. “I SAID HI!!” Stephen screamed. “I CANNOT HEAR YOU!” Harriette yelled back. Stephen picked up the hearing aid which was

on the table.Harriette's face went blank as she pulled an olive out of her ear. Stephenchuckled quietly. He was happy that he was

young and full of energycompared to Harriette. “I thought it was my hearing aid,” she said. He gave her the hearing aid and threw the

olive away.

Once she installed her hearing, Stephen asked, “do we really have to go onthis vacation?” “I’ve been saving up for months,

Stephen. I’m sorry I just can’t cancel something that I have been working so hard to organize.”Harriette said.“But, I won’t see any of

my friends.” Stephen said. “Oh Stephen. It’s just one week. “ Harriette answered. Stephen opened his mouth to say somethingbut he

quickly closed it. Something by the window caught his eye. He couldsee something white outside of it.It seemed familiar. Stephen got

up and quickly ran over to the window. Bythe time he got there it was gone. Whatever it was, it was pretty fast.

“What is it dear?” Harriette asked. Stephen sighed, “nothing, I thought I saw something. That’s all.” She smiled at him.

“You look so much like your mother.” Harriette said. “ You sure shedied in acar crash?” Stephen asked. “Yes, it was a very tragic

event.” Harriette said.Stephen began to think about everything that had happened that day. Theargument, the man, and the white

thing outside his window.

The answer hit him. No wonder the white thing looked so familiar! Stephenthought. It was the guy that I saw when I came

home...is he stalking me?Stephen looked out the window again. There was no sign of him. Maybe it wasn’t me he’s after, Stephen

thought, maybe its Harriette. He was beginning to think that the vacation wasn’t such a bad idea. He could always call his freinds on his

cell phone.Stephen felt a lot more comfortable about going to Forest Green. What heneeded was some fresh air and wide open space

which is exactly what it says in the broshure. “I guess Forest Green doesn’t sound like much of abad idea,” Stephen said, putting his

hands behind his head.

“Good! Now, I think we should start packing tonight.” Harriette said, hervoice was high and joyful.

Little did Stephen know, he was still being watched.

Michaels POV:

The boy. It’s him. Stephen. Must find. Follow. Must kill. Kill Stephen. Be rid of curse... Kill Stephen.
