Thank you so much for your reviews! Although there was quite a decrease this chapter - remember, constructive criticism is always welcome. If you're not happy with something, let me know so I can work on it!

I'm sorry this took a little longer to post. I've been hella busy (college hasn't even started yet and they already have me doing work. Lame), so I've been trying to work on this when I get the time. Not to mention this chapter was surprisingly hard to write.

Disclaimer: I don't own 'em.

Edward, Rosalie, Emmett and I piled into Emmett’s Jeep, Emmett and Rosalie sitting in the front while Edward and I sat in the back.

“Edward! Is your shirt still wet? I don’t want my seats to get ruined,” Emmett said once we got on the road. I turned to look and sure enough, the shirt was still clinging to his perfectly sculpted body. I felt a flush on my cheeks.

Without answering, Edward rolled his eyes (I think – my attention was still on his chest) and unbuttoned his shirt, pulling it off. I inhaled sharply and tried to cover it up, but to no avail. Edward saw me blatantly staring and grinned smugly.

“Breathe, Bella,” he chuckled, and I broke out of my stupor to glare at him. But his golden eyes were doing that stupid smoldering thing, and I forgot why I was mad at him.

“Hey, could you two not make googly eyes at each other? It’s gross,” Emmett teased, his hand massaging Rosalie’s leg.

“Could you not molest my sister in front of us? It’s gross,” Edward retorted, reaching for my hand. I held it tightly and refused to look below Edward’s neck.

He’s just half-naked. It’s not a big deal. So what if his chest looks like it’s sculpted out of marble? You’ve seen it before! You shouldn’t want to jump him right now…

I stole another glance at his chest and my heart skipped a beat.

Who am I kidding? Of course it’s a big deal!

I faced forward, jaw clenched, as Emmett sped to Port Angeles. We finally got there and Edward grabbed a t-shirt from under Emmett’s seat (Edward had explained to me before that they kept extra clothes in the cars to change into after hunting), slipping it over his head as we walked towards Home Depot.

As soon as we entered the store, heads snapped in our direction, clearly gawking at the statuesque blonde leading the way to the plumbing aisle. I fought back the feelings of insecurity while fidgeting with the hem of my sweater.

Dating a vampire and frequently hanging out with his vampire family wasn’t exactly what you could call an ego-boost.

“Gardening… appliances… paint… plumbing!” Rosalie found the aisle, heading towards the large showerhead display at the opposite end of the aisle. I let out a grateful sigh of relief and ran to the display, looking at each choice.

“Oh, a massaging one? We should get that,” Emmett said suggestively to Rosalie. She let out an uncharacteristically girlish giggle.

“Please, Emmett. We need to focus on finding one for Bella’s bathroom,” Rosalie replied, still smiling.

“One that is not a massaging one,” I said pointedly, grimacing.

“Oh, come on. It could be fun,” Edward whispered in my ear. My cheeks flamed and I cleared my throat, focusing more on the display. I scanned each row, seeing silver, gold, white, black, massaging (ugh), fixed, hand-held, and low flow (Emmett got a big chuckle when he saw that one) showerheads, all with different settings and valves.

I didn’t remember my shower being that complicated. I just had to turn the water on, for Pete’s sake! Weren’t there any simpler ones?

“It’s not here. They don’t have the one we had. None of them are the same!” I panicked.

“Relax, Bella. It’s a showerhead. No one will notice the difference, especially not Charlie,” Edward assured me. “Anyways, judging by the situation, you guys needed a new one.”

“This one looks like it could work.” Rosalie grabbed a silver one similar to the one we had and showed it to me. “It’s a little nicer, I think, but that’s not a bad thing.”

“Edward!” Emmett hollered. I turned to see what he was doing, and saw him at the other end of the aisle, holding a tube of something I couldn’t identify.

“What is he holding?” I asked.

“That immature idiot,” Edward muttered. “Don’t pay any attention to him.”

“Why? What is he doing now?” Rosalie sighed, picking up another showerhead. I held onto the one she had given me earlier and tried to get a better look at what Emmett was now waving over his head.

“Hey, Edward! Do you want some caulk?” Emmett called. “There’s latex caulk, rubber caulk, and silicon caulk.” Emmett’s tone betrayed no humor, but it was obvious he was struggling to keep a straight face. An old lady, who was looking at faucets in the middle of the aisle, frowned and looked at Emmett disapprovingly.

“Emmett, stop it,” Edward hissed, but Emmett just held up a container.

“The rubber caulk is the strongest and most durable, but you’ll need a solvent to clean it. If you pick the silicon caulk, there’s a multitude of colors to choose from! And it’s more flexible… no damage when temperatures change… for instance, if your silicon caulk gets hot, no deformation will occur!”

By now, my face was beet red and Edward looked like he was going to tear Emmett apart right in the middle of the aisle. The old lady had put down the gold faucet she was looking at and walked away, shaking her head and muttering something about ‘noisy teenagers’. Rosalie was pointedly ignoring the ‘discussion’, instead trying to choose a showerhead. I decided to follow her example.

“I still think the one we found first will be the best -”

“There they are,” a voice echoed from our end of the aisle, cutting Rosalie off. I turned to see the same old lady standing there, with a male employee on each side of her. “That young man keeps making suggestive comments, and it’s highly inappropriate.”

The employee to her left, a gangly blonde boy with glasses and a walkie-talkie attached to his hip, raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. “Excuse me, sir, but could you come here? It seems we have a problem.”

I fought to keep in my giggle and instead studied the showerhead Rosalie picked out first, deciding it would be good enough.

“Sir, I was just talking to my brother about the different kinds of caulk,” Emmett said innocently as he walked towards the employee. “We’re trying to fix his girlfriend’s showerhead.”

“He was being extremely rude,” the older woman insisted, scowling.

“We won’t disturb anyone anymore,” Edward interrupted, apologizing hastily. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, ma’am.”

The old lady just huffed and walked away, and the two employees followed after her. Emmett walked back to the other end of the aisle, away from the employees, and Edward followed to, I assume, keep Emmett in line.

“Good going, knucklehead,” Rosalie muttered, knowing he’d hear it. “Bella, this one’s okay, right?”

“It looks good to me.”

“Good. Now we just need to -”

“Argh! Damn it, Emmett, that’s it!”

Rosalie and I whirled around to see Emmett and Edward each holding two tubes of caulk, spraying each other mercilessly.

“I was just trying to be helpful!”

“How is thinking about all of the inappropriate ways to use caulk helpful!?”

I gasped, and Rosalie grabbed my hand. “Those idiots! They’re going to get kicked out!”

The blonde boy from before came charging back into the aisle, stopping next to us. “Miss, are those guys with the two of you?”

Rosalie opened her mouth to answer, but then Edward tackled Emmett, ripping one of the tubes from Emmett’s hand and squeezing it in his hair. Emmett reached out his hand and wiped off the caulk off of his hand and spread it all over Edward’s face. Edward hurried to get the goo off of his face so it wouldn’t stick, and Emmett took advantage of Edward’s pause by pushing him back on the ground. Edward grabbed Emmett’s leg and pulled him down, making him crash to the floor and cause a couple of the faucets to fall off of the display. I covered my mouth with both of my hands.

What are they thinking!?

“They’re not with us,” Rosalie replied, her voice clipped. “Could you please excuse us? We need to purchase this quickly so we can fix my shower, and I’m a little uncomfortable with the fiasco at the end of the aisle,” Rosalie added sweetly, although the glint in her eye showed that she was ready to rip off their arms. The employee nodded and marched down to the end of the aisle, talking into his radio.

Rosalie dragged me to the checkout counter, not even batting an eyelash when Emmett and Edward, covered in caulk, were escorted right past us and out of the store.

“Wow. What did those two get into?” the cashier wondered out loud. She rung up the showerhead and sighed. “They were pretty cute, too.”

Rosalie bristled while I answered, “They were fighting in the aisle we were in.”

“They kept yelling something about caulk,” Rosalie interjected, crossing her arms.

The girl chuckled. “Gay, are they? What a shame.”

“Yes, it is,” Rosalie agreed sourly, handing the girl her credit card. After it was paid for, Rosalie stormed out of the store, and I failed at keeping up with her long strides.

“They have no idea what they’re in for,” Rosalie growled darkly once we got close to the Jeep. I couldn’t help but tremble, even though I knew I was innocent.

“Bella, you’re sitting up front. Emmett and Edward, get in the back. And Emmett, no complaining about getting caulk all over your seats – that’s your fault, not mine!” Rosalie ordered. I scrambled into the front seat, putting on my seatbelt as fast as I could so I wouldn’t get the wrath of Rosalie.

“Rose, it’s really not that big of a deal!” Emmett whined. Edward just fumed silently.

“Not that big of a deal?” Rosalie mocked. “Emmett, you got yourself and Edward kicked out of the store, and almost got Bella and I taken with you! I can’t take you anywhere!” she seethed, starting the engine and stomping the pedal to the floor, causing the tires to squeal. “I’ve never been so embarrassed! How old are the two of you? What if you had knocked over something like the massive towers of shelves? How could we have explained how you two were perfectly unharmed while the shelves had dents the exact shapes of the both of you?” Rosalie raged, her foot pressing the gas pedal harder as she continued ranting.

I grabbed onto the armrests and leaned back, trying to keep my breathing steady. I thought Edward drove fast, but Rosalie was insane! I tried to keep my breathing steady, but I could hear my heart pounding in my ears.

“Rosalie, slow down, please,” Edward asked, knowing I would freak out.

“Edward, shut it. You shouldn’t have argued with him. You know he’ll stop if he’s not bothering anyone!”

I made the mistake of looking out of the window. The green blurred past me, making my head spin. I forced my eyes to focus on my lap, but I could still see the blurs out of the corner of my eye…

“Rosalie, please, slow down…”

“Edward, do not tell me how to drive!”

“Rose, let me drive! This is my car!” Emmett whined.

Soon, their voices started to melt together, creating a noisy background to accompany my quickly swirling vision.

I don’t feel so well…

“Emmett, would you please… Bella? Bella, are you okay?” Rosalie asked, but I was afraid to open my mouth.

“She looks really gree -”

Before Emmett could finish his sentence, I emptied my stomach on the floor.

“I told you to slow down!” Edward’s voice was frantic as Rosalie slammed on the brakes, pulling over to the side of the road. Edward jumped out of the Jeep and pulled open my door, taking me out of the seat and sitting on the ground with me on his lap, keeping me a far enough distance away from the caulk all over his chest so I wouldn’t get stuck to it.

“Emmett, you’re cleaning that up,” Rosalie ordered, getting out of the Jeep. Emmett groaned.

“Why?”

“Because it’s your fault I was angry and driving so fast!” Rosalie knelt beside me, brushing my hair out of my face while Edward rubbed my back. “Bella, are you okay?” I just nodded. “I shouldn’t have driven so fast. I didn’t realize it could get you sick.”

“’S okay,” I mumbled, cursing myself internally.

Have to show off my humanity at the most opportune moments, don’t I?

“I’m sorry,” I added quietly, closing my eyes to try and clear away the little nausea left.

Rosalie laughed, causing me to open my eyes again. “No need to apologize. It can be Emmett’s punishment for being an imbecile,” she winked.

“Thank you, Rosalie,” I whispered shyly. “You’ve helped me a lot today, and I really appreciate it.”

“Don’t mention it,” Rosalie said, looking to the ground. Her face seemed unsure, but then her features became soft. “You’re… family. I take care of my family.”

I smiled hesitantly, but then Emmett ruined the moment.

“Oh, man, this reeks!”
