OUR LOVE WILL ALWAYS LAST

A young boy looked up to the cloudless yet blue sky as he sigh. Kira has been living in his own hell. Their family is the riches family in America and yet his still not happy of his own life.

Kira is already 18 years old of age. When he was still 16 years of age, he had a girlfriend named Lacus Clyne, but since Kira’s family is rich and Lacus’ family isn’t, Kira’s parents took him away from Lacus. Far Far away from her.

Kira didn’t know what to do when his parents told him that they are immigrating to America and that they are going to leave Orb. He left Orb without telling Lacus about his parents’ plan. He doesn’t want to hurt her feelings.

Kira’s POV

‘I wonder how is she? Maybe she has a new boyfriend now. I mean It has been 2 years since the last time we say each other. She’s probably in college now. I wonder what she’s taking. Maybe she’s much more beautiful than the last time I saw her. Man I really want to see her now, but what if she doesn’t want to see me again? I mean I left her alone not even mentioning where am I going and when I am coming back. Let’s just hope faith is on my side when I decide to come back for her.’

End Kira’s POV

Lacus looked into the tree in-front of her. The tree to where she and Kira used to tagged each other. The tree is also the place to where she and Kira first met, to where Kira first kissed her, the place when she gave Kira her answer about him asking her out. Memories flooded on her mind.

Lacus’ POV

‘This tree sure has a lot of memories. But sooner or later I have to forget about him and this tree. I have someone else now. I don’t think John will be happy when he learns that I still love Kira. John and I have been together for more than a year and yet he still does not know anything about Kira. But who cares, I don’t think Kira will come back and take me with him when his parents took him away from me. He was destined to live his life, while I was destined to live my own. Life was never fair and so was love.’

End Lacus’ POV

Lacus’ thought were suddenly interrupted as she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. She turned around and smiled as she said.

“You know John, that’s an old trick of yours” Lacus said as she completely turned around. Suddenly she was shocked of what she saw. The person behind her isn’t John.

“K..K…K..ira?”

“Lacus..long time no see, hasn’t it. How long has it been. Oh yes 2 years or more.” Kira said.

“What are you doing here? I thought you were at America.?” Lacus’ asked.

“I just came back today. I thought I should pay you a visit. When I didn’t reach you at your home. I thought I’d find you here since this the place….

“To where we shared most of our moments?” Lacus asked.

“Exactly.” Kira said laughing at his own mistakes.

“Say, who is this John that you mentioned.?” Kira asked surprising Lacus.

“It’s no one.” Lacus answered.

Suddenly someone called out to Lacus.

“Hey Lacus, sweetheart. How have you been?” John asked waving at Lacus.

Lacus smiled as she looked up to Kira. His face darkened.

“I’m doing fine my love.” Lacus said as she gave John a kiss on the cheek.

“Well that’s good to hear. I don’t want you not doing fine.” John said as he came face to face with Kira.

“So sweetheart. Who’s your new friend?”

“Oh. Um. This is my old friend Kira.” Lacus answered.

‘Old friend…’ Kira thought

“Well hello there Kira. If you’re a friend of my sweetheart, your also my friend then.” John said shaking Kira’s hands.

“Ah. Lacus I gotta go and met up with Athrun and Cagalli. Since we haven’t seen each other yet so I’ll leave you too and have a great day.” Kira said putting up his happy face, but deep down he is hurt.

Kira laid on his bed. He is still thinking about what happen today.

‘That was great. First day in Orb after two years. And then I met Lacus’ new boyfriend. How unlucky I am. I wanted to ask her out and talk about what happen to our lives since I left Orb. Why do I have to be so unlucky. Damn It!’ Kira thought to himself. He wanted to back to America and forget about Orb. Forget about Lacus, about his memories with her. Everything that has something to do with Orb and Lacus.

‘I really love you so much Lacus. Up until now I can’t even forget about you. Nor our memories together, but what am I suppose to do. I’d probably just leave Orb.’ Kira thought as he turned around, he started punching his pillow. ‘I’ll leave Orb. I can’t stay here.’ Kira thought.
