NOTHING LAST FOREVER

Kira and Lacus’ relationship became more intense. They already started sleeping together, they live under the same roof and in the same bed.

“Kira. Don’t you think your parents will..

“Don’t worry about them. They won’t even know a thing. I promise.” Kira said kissing Lacus’ neck.

“That’s not the point Kira.”

“Then what are you trying to say?”

“What I’m trying to say is that what will your parents thing once they learn that we already lived in the same roof and were even sharing the same bed, and yet were not even married.”

“What do they care..?”

“Kira, for once can you show some respect…

“What respect Lacus? They never shown that to me..”

Lacus stared Kira shock at how he answered her question.

“Kira what are you talking about?” Lacus asked.

“Lacus they are the one who took me America. They are the one who made the decision to take me away from you. Because they want me to marry someone that is the same standard as our family.”

“And my family is only poor. We are not in the same standard as your family is.”

“Yeah. But that doesn’t matter to me. I love you and nothing will change that.”

AT AMERICA

Kira’s parents just learned that their son is once again seeing Lacus and that Cara had broken up with him.

“Why did Cara broke up with him though?” Haruma asked.

“Sir from what I heard. Cara is pregnant and Master Kira is not the father. I heard also that Alex is the father of the child and not Master Kira.” said Rey.

“Dammit. What is that kid doing there at Orb?”

“Sir, I also heard that Master Kira is dating Lacus Clyne once again and from what I also heard they are living in the same roof now.”

“You mean…

“Yes Sir. Master Kira is sheltering Lacus Clyne.”

“Damn that kid. His in for it now.”

Haruma didn’t had any second thoughts. He took the earliest flight to Orb to confront his son once and for all.

KIRA AND LACUS’ HOUSE

Lacus was left alone at home since Kira is still studying. Lacus don’t have any classes so she went home early. Since Lacus’ parents died she took care of herself. She started working so she can finish studying and she’ll have a brighter future.

Lacus is humming to herself when suddenly someone rang the doorbell. Lacus was so excited that she opened the door immediately, but she suddenly fell to the floor as Kira’s father is standing in-front of the house.

Haruma entered the house without being invited. He took a seat to the couch, he also looked at Lacus somehow giving her a warning.

“Where’s my son?” Haruma asked.

“his at class Mr. Yamato.” Lacus answered still showing respect to her elders.

“So tell me Ms. Clyne. How can you have the guts to live with my son?”

“I wasn’t the one who decided it Mr. Yamato. Kira did.”

“And you let him. What kind of girl are you? Your parents raised you the wrong way.” Haruma yelled.

Of all the things that Lacus hates is when her parents just pops out of a discussion when they have nothing to do with it.

“tell me Ms. Clyne. Your parents raised you the wrong way didn’t they?”

“My parents has nothing to do with this. I made my own decision.”

“So your parents let you sleep with any man you want is that it?” Haruma asked.

Lacus just want to packed her things and leave. But she can. She needs to talk to Kira before she does something that will make their relationship once again hang in the balance.

“No. My parents never taught me that behaviour Mr. Yamato. Even thought my parents died already. I remember the rights things they taught me because every thing that they taught are right. That’s why I never regret any decision I make. Because my parents taught me the right way.” Lacus answered.

“If that is the case. Have they taught you not to live under the same roof with a man you were never married with.”

“They taught me that…”

“Then why are you living in the same house are my son when your not even married.”

“We love each other Mr. Yamato. No matter what happens. That’s why we made the decision to live together.

“F…F…F…Father”

“Kira what are you doing here?”

“I should be the one asking you that question, am I right father? Why are you here? Weren’t you suppose to be in America right now?” Kira asked.

“I came here to asked you what is this all about?”

“What is all about?”

“Why is Ms. Clyne living under the same roof as you are?” Haruma asked.

“Dad. I’m 24 and you should not interfere with my life anymore. I’m old enough to take care of myself.” answered Kira.

“Kira! Do you know what risk you are taking?”

“I know. Your going to the same crap about Lacus.”

“Kira! What you if you get Ms. Clyne pregnant. You know what it will costs you right?”

“I don’t care what it will costs me, as long as I’m with her.”

“If you live with her. Your not going to get any from us.”

“Do you mean the company, the money. I don’t care about those father. Those things wouldn’t make me happy.” Kira answered “I believe you know the way out.”

“You’ll regret this Kira.” Haruma said before living.

As soon as Haruma left. Lacus walked towards Kira.

“Kira…” Lacus said tears falling from her eyes.

“Don’t worry Lacus. My father won’t bother us anymore.” Kira assured her.

“But I made my mind up Kira. If your going to lose your parents trust. Then I should leave. I mean…

“No! Lacus you are not going anywhere. We are going to live together.”

“But Kira…

“Lacus..!”

“I made my mind up Kira. If you are going to lose everything just for me. Then I should leave. There is nothing to worry about Kira. Even if you marry someone else. I’ll remain in your heart forever.” Lacus said turning around.

Lacus entered their room packing her things. As soon as she got all packed up she stood in-front of Kira.

“I’m sorry Kira, but I have to do this. This is for both of us.” Lacus said as she opened the door to leave.

Lacus left already and Kira is still standing in the same position Lacus left him. Before he knew it tears already started to fall down his cheeks.

‘That was all it took for her to leave me like this. Why does everyone has to do this to me. To leave me. Cara left me for Alex I understood her because she’s pregnant. And now the woman I love with all my heart left me also because she doesn’t want me to lose my parents trust. Lord why do you have to take me to this world if I have nothing to feel but total destruction.’

MEANWHILE

‘It’s better that I leave him early. It’s better that he doesn’t know that I am carrying his child right now. It would be easier for him to move and forget about me, because if he knows that I’m pregnant with his child his not going to let me leave him. It’s better this way.’ Lacus thought as she caressed her flat stomach. Suddenly tears fell from her eyes.

‘I’m sorry that I have to do this you my child, but this is better for your father. I know it wouldn’t do us any good, but your father’s life is better than mine. I’m so sorry if you grow up without a father. But I love your father so much I need to do this. Don’t worry someday you’ll meet him event though by that time he might have a family already.’ Lacus thought once again as tears keep falling down her cheeks.

It’s already dark and still she’s walking towards her sisters place Cagalli and her husband Athrun.
