Onto the Obilvion
The Tardis materilised on the carpark and the two time travellers stepped out.
"Ah, here we are" said the Doctor with clear excitment. Donna got out her purse and took out her money for the tickets so they could get in. "I was thinking Donna, how about we try the obilvion first" he suggested to his red-head companion as they walked uptowards the ticket booth. "I bet you're wanting me to go on so you can hear me scream, well I bet you'll scream like a girl" she teased as she payed for the tickets and recieved them, including a map of the park.
"Are you trying to say that I scream like a girl?" the Doctor asked, putting on a insulted face. "I was just teasing you, come on lanky let's go". The pair of them placed their tickets in the ticket machine and they were now in the park.
"So, where do we need to go to get to the Oblivion then?" the Doctor asked as he bent down to tie his shoelaces. He was getting quite odd glances from the park visitors. Maybe it was because he was in a suit and they were all in t-shirts and jeans. "We need to go to X-sector to go on the Oblivion" Donna replied looking at the large map. The Doctor jumped up and looked at the map.
"Aye aye, let's go to that section then". Soon the pair of them were walking through the theme park and stopped to get a look at Spinball wizard.
"I don't understand how people can sit in one of those things when it's spinning around as it goes down those hill things" the Doctor commented as he watched one of the cars go down a hil whilst spinning around and the people inside it screaming.
"They must be really brave and have strong stomachs" Donna suggested. The Doctor watched again as another car spun about when it went down a hill. "Come then big fella, the Oblivion is waiting for us". The two of them walked away from the Spinball wizard ride and reached X-sector.
"Look, there it is" Donna pointed. The Doctor watched as the people on the ride went speeding at sixty miles per hour down the dark, smoky hole.
"We need to get in line" she said as she walked towards the ever-lasting qeue. The Doctor placed his hands in his pocket and started humming the Batman theme tune to save himself from boredom. Alot of people in the qeue were once again, giving him odd looks. He nudge Donna who jumped around and asked "what is it Doctor?".
"Everyone's giving me odd looks" he whispered to her so that no-one could here. "Well, I don't think it's very often you see a person wearing a suit and long coat when they come here" she suggested. He shrugged and watched as the riders went down the hole again, screaming. "You know what, I'd love to see a Dalek on that" the Doctor suggested then giggling. "What do you'll think will happen to a Dalek if it went on the oblivion?" Donna asked curiously. "Don't know, maybe it'll scream and kill itself after". Donna couldn't stop laughing at the Doctor's comment.
They were stood in the line for nearly an hour when it was finally their turn.
"I still bet you're going to scream like a girl" Donna teased as she and the Doctor climbed into the seats. "I bet I won't, I'm a bloke" he replied with a satisfied grin.
Before the ride was about to begin, they were given the insturctions of how to keep their hands ands and feet in the ride at all times. Then, it began to move.
"Were moving" Donna squealed excitedly. The Doctor looked nervous but managed to grin. His two hearts were pounding as they slowly moved to the top and hanged vertically over the hole. He could feel sweat dripping off his nose and possibly into the hole below. Just before they were about to plummet down the hole of doom, an evil voice boomed out "do not look down, muhahahahahahahahaha". Before the Doctor could react, he could feel himself, falling into the hole. He screamed like a little girl and Donna was laughing at the side of him.
After the ride was over, Donna was sat at a table with two drinks and the Doctor had his head in a dustbin.
"Easy does it, let it all out. It's better out than in" Donna suggested. He took his head out of the dustbin. He looked sweaty and pale. "Is that drink for me?" he asked, pointing at the large cola drink. Donna nodded and the Doctor grabbed it and took a big drink.
"Feel better now?" Donna asked. "Yeah, so shall we see what other rides are available?" he asked. Donna shook her head and said "you just don't know when to stop do you?". The Doctor grinned and shook his head.
