A/N:This story is about Draco Malfoy and an OC. Please let me know what you think.

Disclaimer: I only own Riane and this story/plot

Extra Note:Riane is pronounced like "Ryan". But she's a girl... lol.

It was friday night and Riane had had a busy week so she walked out to the black lake where she always went to be alone and/or think. When she got there, she climbed up into her favorite tree, close to the lake. She got onto a wide branch and leaned her head back against the trunk, closing her eyes. After a while she started to drift to sleep.

Suddenly, Riane heard a crack and bolted awake. She realized then that someone was coming towards her. She gazed through the branches of the trees to try and see who the approacher was, but the leaves blocked her view, plus it was too dark. Riane decided to sit back and wait until the person came into view. As they approached, she saw that it was Draco Malfoy. Riane and Draco had been best friends for years. She knew a side of him that no one else did and she always got him to open up to her. She encouraged him to show others this side which she loved so much, and sometimes he did, but in the end, his reputation was the most important thing.
Secretly, Riane cared about Draco as more than a friend, but knew he didn't feel the same way, so she never said anything in fear of ruining what they had. The only other people who knew about her dirty little secret was the golden trio, who were her very best friends.

Riane watched Draco as he absently skipped rocks across the lake, mumbling to himself. She giggled and strained to hear what he was saying, but he was too far away. Riane quietly climbed down to a lower branch in hopes of hearing him this time, but she still couldn't hear him properly, only make out odd words here and there. She sighed to herself and leaned back against the tree again, ready to give up. She then thought of a spell she had recently learned. It was one that used your wand to magnify your voice, much like a microphone which the muggles used. Riane whispered the spell, then lowered her wand from the tree and stuck it in Draco's direction. Finally she could hear him.

"Idiot! She's just a girl!" Draco said Angrily.
"Just a girl! Just like all the other girls you've got wrapped around your finger!" He said, scolding himself.
"Awww.. Draco finally has a crush." Riane thought to herself and giggled again.
Draco stopped skipping stones for a minute, and there was a long pause before he spoke again.
"No. Not like all the other girls. Not like them at all. Maybe Blaise is right, maybe I should tell her." Draco said as he skipped another stone across the lake. He then stopped and turned around to face Riane and walked over to the base of her tree. He couldn't see her because she was covered by both the trees' branches and the cloak of darkness -- or so she thought.
"But what would I say?" Draco asked himself. He started pacing back and forth under the tree.
Riane smiled at him. He was so cute. She had never seen her best friend stress over any female before, and as she watched him fighting an argument with himself, she was shocked to find that she was jealous of the anonymous girl. Why should she deserve Draco? He should be with her! This thought shocked Riane even more.

While she was having her own inner-conflict, Riane had stopped paying attention to Draco below you. But she soon remembered him. He looked up into the tree, straight at her, and spoke.
"Can we talk? There's something you should know, and I've put it off for far too long."
Riane sat there in shock. How did he know she was there?? Riane swallowed hard and opened her mouth to speak, but Draco cut her off.
"Don't speak. Just listen."
Riane obediently sat un-moving in the tree and listened to what Draco had to say. He turned around and walked away a few feet before continuing.
"I've never cared about anyone or anything until I met you. You made me realize what was and wasn't important. Nothing that once mattered, matters anymore. The only thing I care about is you. I can't get you out of my head. I'm going crazy thinking about you and everyday it gets harder and harder to stand next to you and not wrap my arms around you, holding you tight and not letting you go, to talk to you and pretend we're just friends, when all I think about is how much I want us to be more. It's driving me insane. I couldn't keep this to myself any longer, I want you... I need you... I-"
Draco paused as if to brace himself for what he was about to say. His voice then lowered to a low whisper, so low Riane had to strain to hear them.
"...I Love you.."
Riane gasped quietly in shock. She was so shocked by Draco's confession that she nearly fell from the tree and had to hurry to catch herself.
Draco looked down.
"Please, talk to me... tell me you feel something for me too..." Draco finished and stayed silent. He was still back on to Riane, staring out at the lake.

Riane listened to Draco's speech and thought her heart was going to jump up into her throat and strangle her. A single pair of tears rolled down her face. Was this real? Was the thing you wanted most, more than anything, finally right within your reach?
Finally Riane couldn't take it anymore. She climbed down from the tree and stared at Draco with the biggest smile possible.
"I love you too..." You whispered. Draco turned around to face her and his eyes widened.
"Riane?!" He gasped.
Riane smiled
"What?-- How... What are you talking about??" Draco asked frantically. "How much of that did you hear?! How long were you there?! Were you there the whole time??"
"Of course I was here the whole time.." Riane replied confusedly. "You were talking to me weren't you?.."
"No!!" Draco spat in a panic. "I had no idea you were there!! I- "
Draco paused as suddenly a look of realization crossed his face.
"Oh.." He said quietly. "You thought -- I'm so sorry Riane... I-"
Riane cut him off.
"You weren't talking to me then?" She asked.
"Um.. No, I-"
"It's alright Draco." Riane choked. She felt her heart shatter into a million pieces and her face flushed crimson with embarrassment. How could she be stupid enough to think that Draco would want her? They were best friends, he didn't like her like that.
Riane tried to smile but she just couldn't. Tears were now streaming down her face, but these weren't happy ones. Riane turned away from Draco.
"It's kinda late, I'm gonna head back to the castle." She said trying her hardest to stop her tears and sound calm.
Draco stood staring after Riane, speechless as she walked away. Every bit of strength she had was directed in making sure one foot moved after the other. She felt like she had just been stabbed in the heart. Never before had she ever felt any kind of pain this bad. It really hurt.

Riane was a little ways ahead before she heard Draco call after her.
"Riane wait!" He called, and she could hear him running to catch up with her. She didn't want him to so Riane started to run too. Behind her, Riane could hear Draco gaining on her, getting closer, and she knew there was no way in hell she could out-run him.
Riane whipped out her wand and cast a disillusion charm over herself. She could hear Draco's footsteps slow and finally stop, no longer being able to see her or where she'd gone.

Riane continued on to the castle and ran directly towards the Gryfindor common room. When she got there, she slipped inside just as a pair of Gryfindors were coming out and removed the spell. She desperately looked around for Hermione but not seeing her, she walked over to the couch and sat down, putting her head in her hands. And that was all she could take as her tears finally broke free of their confines and began streaming down her face. Riane felt like someone had reached right through her and pulled her heart right from her chest.

All the Gryfindors in the room starred at Riane in shock. They were baffled that the girl seemed to appear from nowhere and was now bawling her eyes out on their couch, never mind that she was a Slytherin.
After a while of everyone watching her and not knowing what to do, one of the girls, seeming to recognise Riane, left the room.
Riane sat and cried, not noticing or caring at all who was in the room.
"Merlin's Pants! Riane! What happened sweetheart!!"
Riane heard Hermione's voice and looked up to saw her friend running towards her. Hermione sat down next to Riane and gave her a hug, asking her what was wrong. This made Riane cry harder. Hermione sat there hugging ther girl and rubbing her back.
"Oh Miney!" You managed between sobbs. "I'm.. s-so.. s-stupid!"
"What?.. What are you talking about?! Why would you say that?" Hermione asked. She then patiently waited for her friend to answer.
Riane looked up at Hermione and tried to get a hold of herself, but failed miserably. She were just too upset.
"Draco-"
Hermione's face darkened at the mention of Draco's name.
"I .. thought he meant... but .. someone else.. and.. I.. Ugh! I'm so stupid!"
Riane tried to explain between sobs, but she didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. However, it was all Hermione needed to hear to understand.
"That stupid, evil little--"
"Draco didn't do anything." Riane said, cutting the girl off. "I just misunderstood, that's all. Please Hermione, don't say anything to him!"
Hermione's face softened and sighed.
"He's lucky you're his friend Riane. He doesn't even deserve that." She said bitterly. Ron came over then and placed a hand on Hermione's shoulder.
"Is everything OK?" He asked with concern.
Riane had finally managed to get the both of her friends to admit they liked each other and now they were dating. She was so jealous over their relationship. They were so happy together. Riane was so jealous, because she wanted what they had with Draco.
"Draco!" She spat. "That foul, evil--"
Hermione stopped when she heard another sob escape Riane's lips.

Ron walked over to the other side of Riane and sat down, giving her a hug.
"Draco can't see what's right in front of his eyes." He said softly. Hermione snorted at this. Look who's talking! But Ron, oblivious to her, as usual, continued.
"He doesn't know what he's missing... I'm guessing that's what this is all about, yea?" Riane nodded.
"Well, maybe.. maybe he feels the same about you as you do about him?" Ron offered. But Riane knew the difference. This started yet another fit of tears. Ron pulled Riane close and hugged her tight.
"I'm sorry Riane. I really need to learn when to shut-up!"
"It's alright Ron." Riane replied thickly. "I know you're just trying to help."

Riane cried into Ron's shoulder while Hermione once again rubbed her back. All of a sudden, everything went quiet and she heard Hermione shouting.
"What the bloody-hell are you doing here?!"
Ron turned around to see who Hermione was yelling at and Riane peeked over his shoulder. She then saw Draco standing next to a little Gryfindor first year boy.
"Um... I let him in.." The boy said timidly. "He said he really needed to talk to someone and he thought she was in here."
Hermione fumed in a very uncharacteristic way.
"You what?! He a Slytherin and this is the Gryfindor common room, meaning onlyGryfindors! .. And that's Draco Malfoy, you believed him?!"
Riane felt a sting at that. She was a Slytherin too and she was there, did Hermione forget that? She'd definitely have to chastise Hermione for that comment later.

The boy looked down at his feet.
"Um, well... he seemed like he really meant it..."
"Ugh! Unbelievable!" Hermione huffed angrily.
Draco, finally having had enough stepped forward.
"That's enough Granger. The point is, I'm here, and I really need to talk to Riane. I know she's here."
Hermione looked scandalized.
"Excuse me?! Need I remind you that you're in the Gryfindorcommon room! I could easily have any and all your house points removed for trespassing into an opposing house!
Draco frowned.
"Honestly, I really don't care. I'm not leaving until I talk to her."
Riane groaned quietly and sunk down to hide behind Ron.
"I don't care what you want Malfoy!" Hermione said furiously. "Get out!"
Draco's frown deepened and he moved forward to look into Hermione's face.
"Please! I need to find Riane."
Hermione, completely unfazed by Draco's pleading stare, glared at him angrily.
"Leave Malfoy!" She hissed dangerously.
Draco, not being used to a girl not breaking over his gorgeous stare, sighed impatiently.
"Where is she?" Draco demanded in a voice he clearly thought was calm -- considering who he was talking to.
"She doesn't want to see you." Hermione said flatly.
Draco gritted his teeth. It was obvious he was getting extremely frustrated and was trying extremely hard to be calm and control himself.
"I need to find her." Draco hissed through clenched teeth.
"She's not here." Hermione said stubbornly, folding her arms. "So. Get. OUT."
Draco glared at her, then stepped past her and looked around the room.
"Riane!" He called, ignoring the glare he could feel burning his back.
"DRACO MALFOY!" Hermione Screamed. "Don't you think you've caused her enough pain already?!"
Draco's face fell and he looked like he had just been punched in the stomach. He looked down then, refusing to look at anyone.
"I know.." He whispered. "That's why I have to find her..." Draco paused for a minute, then turned back to Hermione again.
"Look, I know you hate me, and to be honest, I don't bloody give a damn. I'm not gonna stand here and pretend I'm sorry, that I like you and I didn't mean any of it, or that I give a damn about anything I've ever said or done to you. Let me make something clear: I don't. I know we never got along, and again, I won't pretend I'm sorry, because I stillcan't stand you. But don't do this now, don't make this about us. I was willing to come in here and put aside all my stereotypical hatred for all you goody-goodies, just so I can talk to one person! Please... Hermione."
Draco cringed visably as if calling the girl by name actually took a great effort. Then he continued.
"Please. Just met me talk to her."

Hermione was fuming. She wanted to hex Draco right into the hospital wing. Merlin she hated him! ... But, reluctantly, she had to admit that he had a point. The two had a mutual hatred for each other and it was clear to everyone. But this was no time to be dwelling on their hatred for each other. Right now, Riane was in deep pain because of him and he seemed hell-bent on setting things right -- at least, that what it seemed like. In any case, she was there -- because she wasn't going anywhere -- to make sure that if he made hings any worse, she could go through with her deep desire to hex him senseless.
Finally, Hermione let out a deep, agitated sigh and gave Draco the dirtiest, harshest look she possibly could.
"Fine! But I swear, if you-"
Hermione was cut off by a sorrowful sob from the couch.
"Riane??" Draco exclaimed. He ran over to the couch where she was and looked behind Ron to see her sitting there with knees to chin and biting back tears. The sight broke his heart.
"Oh Riane!" He said as he walked over to her. He looked at her, then at Ron who was watching him closely. Draco let out a heavy sigh. He was sure someone up above was laughing hysterically at that moment.
"We- Ron... may I?"
Ron glared at the blonde for a minute. He was stubborn, and even a little dense at times, but he wasn't stupid. He knew Draco hadn't come to hurt Riane more. So, with great reluctance, Ron put aside his own hatred towards the tall Slytherin and got up.

Draco sat down next to Riane and looked into her face. He then spoke quietly so no one else could hear him. Though it was impossible due to the dead-silence in the room. Merlin, didn't these blokes have anything better to do than to listen to him embarrass himself!
"Riane, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you... I swear I didn't know you were there. I was .. um.. practicing..."
Riane refused to look at him. Draco placed his hand on her face and gently lifted it, encouraging her to look at him. She turned her head towards him, but still refused to meet his gaze.
"Riane.. please look at me.." Whispered Draco. His voice was full of hurt.
She stared at the fire for a minute before finally turning and looking into his eyes. They were filled with pain.
"Please let me explain. You left before I had a chance and I couldn't find you anywhere." Draco insisted.
"OK. Explain" Riane said simply. Draco sighed.
"I didn't know you were there, and even if I did, I wouldn't have expected that sort of reaction." Draco said softly.
Riane could feel her face beginning to flush, she was so embarrassed. She knew now that Draco hadn't meant that for her to hear, and that this was the end of any friendship they had forever.
The tears returned to Riane's eyes and Draco pulled her into a hug. She stayed there for a minute but then pushed him away.
"So.. who were you practicing for." Riane asked. She tried to sound cool, but her voice cracked and gave her away. She was deeply hurt and utterly embarrassed.
Draco noticed this and Riane saw a small smile cross his face. A smile not a smirk, then it disappeared as quick as it came.
"Great!" Riane thought. "He's gonna tell me he wants Pansy or something!"
Riane watched Draco and saw a flush slowly creep up his cheeks. Was Draco Malfoy.. THEE Draco Malfoy actually blushing?! She were shocked.
Draco didn't awnser you at first.
"I didn't know what to say.. I've never felt this way about anyone before and I was scared. I didn't know if I should tell you or not because I didn't want to loose you, even if it was just as a friend... A friend is better than nothing at all.." Draco was no longer looking at Riane, and his face was fully flushed now.
Riane didn't say anything, she was confused. She sat there and simply waited patiently for Draco to continue.
"I said wasn't talking to you, because I really didn't know you were there. I said I didn't know you were there, because I couldn't see anyone, so I thought I was alone. I said, I didn't expect that response from you, because I didn't think you felt that way about me. And I said I what I said because it was true... but tell me, did you ever hear me say who the person was?" He asked, now looking into Riane's eyes.
Riane shook her head.
"That's because it was you I was talking about..." Draco paused before continuing. "But you didn't give me a chance to explain." He took her hands in his and pressed them to his lips.
"Riane.. I love you, so much .. and I swear, I meant every word I said." Draco said, searching her face for some sign of emotion.

Riane knew that such a thing was probably the hardest thing Draco had ever had to say -- even more so than talking to Ron and Hermione as equals -- and it hurt his pride badly. But he'd done it.
"Please.. say something." Draco pleaded.
But Riane couldn't say anything, she was too shocked.
She smiled as the last, and final tear rolled down her face. She then threw her arms around Draco. He sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist holding you tight.
They suddenly remembered that they weren't alone when a deafening applause was heard all around them.
Riane looked around and laughed, then looked back at Draco. Draco smiled at her and effectively ignored the combined sighs, snickers and comments of either praise or expressions of how big a bloke certain spectators thought he was. He didn't care, what any of them thought. Hell, he didn't like any of them anyway. Draco finally had Riane in his arms and he wasn't about to let her go.

Riane laughed again and tried to pull away but Draco held her firmly. He lened down to her ear then and whispered softly.
"That only leaves one more thing then... Be mine, be only mine. Now and until we both draw our very last breaths."
Draco let Raine pull away a little so he could look into her face. Riane frowned.
"Hmmm.. I don't know.." She said thoughtfully. "After tonight? ... I'll have to think about it."
Draco frowned deeply, looking like she'd just slapped him across the face. She immediately felt a wave of guilt wash over her and smiled, gently placing a hand on his face.
"I'm joking love." She whispered softly. "You already know the awnser to that."
Riane then pulled him towards her, and pressed her lips to his.
Draco smiled and kissed her deeply. Riane then wrapped her arms around his neck, and his wrapped around her waist, pulling her impossibly close to him.
When they finally parted, the whole room erupted into another fit of clapping and wolf-calls.
Riane laughed. and Draco joined her, pulling her into another hug. Riane had been right about one thing: this was the end of her friendship with Draco forever.

Riane and Draco spent the rest of their time at Hogwarts together, and on their graduation, Draco purposed to her. They got married that summer and all their friends from Hogwarts attended.
Riane went on to study to be a healer while Draco joined the Dark Lord's ranks.
One day, Draco had to go away on a 'mission' for the Dark Lord. Riane begged him not to go, but it was no use. He kissed her goodbye and the door and promised to write her everyday. After all, he wouldn't be gone long.
As he walked out the door with a small wave and a smile, Riane felt her heart sink as a horrible feeling rushed throughout her entire body.

While Draco was gone Riane kept busy in her work. He would write to her everyday as promised, but as time passed, the letters became less and less frequent, until months later, they stopped altogether. Riane tried to tell herself at first that everything was fine, there was nothing to worry about, and that Draco was simply too busy to write. But as more months passed without and word from her beloved, she began to grow sick with worry. Soon she was no good to anyone, so her boss told her to take some time off work. Time off translated to a 3 year vacation.

It was now Christmas eve, and Riane's friends had somehow convinced her to host a party at your mansion. You had agreed, but you weren't really excited about it. It had been over five years since Draco had left, and she missed him terribly. She tried her best to keep her mind occupied and think positivly that Draco would soon return, but it was all readily getting harder with each passing day. Deep down, Riane couldn't help but think that her beautiful, blonde husband wasn't coming back.

Now the night of the party, Riane found herself mingling among hundreds of people, plastering on smile as fake as the flowers on her kitchen table.
All was going well and everyone was having fun.. everyone except her. Riane had somehow been convinced to get dressed up and look nice, and everyone kept telling her how beautiful you looked, but she didn't feel like it.
Five minutes before midnight, Harry got up in front of everyone with the biggest smile she'd ever seen on his face.
"Alright everyone, here's an early Christmas present for you all. You're all are the lucky ones who get to hear this first, as the information has not yet been released. In the last year, the ministry and I have been working very hard. And just two days ago, it all payed off. I am pleased, no, ecstatic, to announce..."
Harry paused for dramatic effect as he looked around the room at the many faces.
"Voldemort has finally been found and defeated!!"
The entire room roared with applause, and relieved sighs. Riane clapped politely but her heart couldn't help but do a back-flip at the implication. This was it! The Dark Lord was gone, Draco was finally coming home. A small smile played across Riane's lips. She looked up at Harry again as he continued on to say something else.
"We found Voldemort thanks to the intelligence of a member of the Order Of The Phoenix."
Harry then looked at Ron with a wink and the Redhead starred back with a huge grin. Again the people in the room applauded and Riane clapped politely. She couldn't, however get her mind off Draco. He was finally coming home!
Harry looked away from Ron and once again looked out over the crowd. This time his smile faded and his face was solemn.
"Unfortunately, due to a fatal accident, all of Voldemort's followers, known as the Death Eaters were killed during the fight..."
Riane's eyes widened in shock and she felt her heart shatter into a million pieces. She didn't even register Harry's next few words involving something about how most of those people were all evil, but no one deserves what happened to them and they were still living beings, and could they please have a moment of silence for them and ect.
"No..." Riane whispered in horror. The glass she had been holding slipped from her hand and dropped to the floor, shattering into millions of pieces. Some of the shards cut her legs and caused them to bleed a little, but she didn't notice. Hearing the disturbance pierce the silence Harry had requested, many people turned to see what had happened, and were shocked to the their hostess as pale as a ghost.
Hermione closed her eyes and cringed. She looked over at Riane with pure sadness and sympathy in her eyes. Then she walked over to her friend and wrapped her arms around her tightly.
"I'm so sorry..." She whispered in sorrow.
Just then, the clock struck midnight and the loud chime echoed out over the room like a death toll, sending shivers down many a spine. Harry looked out over them all and smiled.
"Merry Christmas everyone!"
People all around shouted the greeting back, relieved to be able to shake off the icy chill they could feel seeping through their bones.

All around her, people began partying again as if they hadn't just heard the bittersweet news Harry had just bestowed upon them, but Riane was rooted in place.
Harry left his spot in front of everyone and made his way towards Riane and Hermione, followed closely behind by Ron. When he reached them, a wide smile spread across his face.
"Merry Christmas love!" He said happily, reaching out to give Riane a hug.
Riane starred at him blankly. She knew Harry and Draco never liked each other, and there was always bad blood between them, but this..
"Merry Christmas?.." She whispered in a daze. Then her face suddenly contorted in furry. "MERRY CHRISTMAS?!" She screamed at him. A silence fell over the entire room and everyone turned to look at the small group. Her outburst was enough to make Hermione jump and Ron back away in fright. Harry, however didn't move.
Riane seethed as she starred at him, ready to strangle him on the spot.
"You cold, heart-less son-of-a-bitch!" She spat savagely.
Without warning, Riane lifted her arm and punched Harry hard across the face. This made everyone except the four close friends gasp.
Harry's face jerked to the side as Riane hit him, and he held his hand to his face. He turned to look at Riane, and nearly buckled under her murderous glare.
"Riane.." Harry began, but she held up her hand indignantly. She didn't want to hear what he had to say.
All the wasted time, hoping, wishing, praying, telling herself that she would see him again. But she'd been wrong. Draco was gone foreve, she'd never see him again, never hold him, touch him, taste him or smell his sweet scent next to her in the morning. He was gone.

Tears streamed down Riane's face and she turned on her heels and ran.
"RIANE WAIT!" Harry screamed after her, but she just kept running.
Riane reached the front door and opened it, not knowing where she was going, she just had to get away. She ran down the driveway, face in her hands and tears once again flowing freely.
"I never thought I'd have reason to cry over you again..." Riane thought miserably as she ran. She'd only ever cried twice in her life, and both times had been over Draco.
Riane wasn't watching where she was going, so as she ran, she bumped into someone. Looking up to apologise, she abruptly stopped and her mouth dropped open.
"Merry Christmas love." Said the man standing in front of her.
Riane starred ahead of her as her tears continued to stream down her face.
"D-Draco.." She stuttered in a whisper.
Was she dead? Was someone toying with her? Was she being punished for some unforgivable wrong she had committed? Was that why she was seeing ghosts? This was cruel beyond cruel!
"But .. b-but you're supposed to be dead.." She said, more to herself than to him. It wasn't fair! Whoever the culprit of this cruel joke was was tearing her apart. What didn't she do to deserve this?

The man before her laughed lightly.
"Would you rather me be?" He asked playfully.
Riane starred at him. It sounded like Draco... but it couldn't be could it. Riane felt her heart jump a little. She didn't want to believe it was her love, only to have that hope and belief snatched cruelly away from her. So with a shaking hand, Riane reached up to the man's face. She hesitated for a moment, then lightly placed a hand on his cheek. It seemed real. She then reached up and placed her other hand on his face. Yep, he was still there. So was it possible that finally, at long last, her beloved Draco had somehow escaped the death that had taken his conrads and come back to her? How could she be sure?

The man before Riane closed his eyes when she carressed his cheek and placed his hands over hers.
"I missed your touch so bad..." He whispered softly, a pair of tears seeping out from under his closed eyelids.
Riane's lip quivered. He was touching her... it felt like Draco, it sounded like Draco... She wanted to badly for it to be Draco... but he was dead.
The man opened his eyes again and starred down at her. All was silent for a few minutes as they starred at each other. Eventually he placed his hands on Riane's face to duplicate her position on his.
"I missed you so much... Riane..."
A sob escaped Riane's lips. Her name! The way he said her name! That was it, that was all she needed to hear! It was him! It was Draco! However impossible it was, he was here, right then and there, right in front of her. He was alive and had finally returned to her!
"It isyou!" She whispered, her voice constricted with emotion. Without another thought, Riane lept upward and threw her arms around Draco, kissing him deeply.

Draco stumbled backward a bit as he caught Riane and regained his balance. He smiled and kissed her back as another pair of tears slid down his face. He was home. She was back in his arms, and he'd be damned if he was ever letting her go again!
After a long time, Draco finally pulled away and trailed kisses down Riane's neck, across her throat and then moved back up and caught her lips again in a fiery, passionate kiss.
When he pulled away a second time, Draco pulled Riane closer and again rested his head against hers, nose to nose with his wife as he starred deep into her eyes.
"I missed you so much baby." He whispered through glossy eyes.
"I missed you too Dre!! I thought you were Dead! I thought I'd never see you again... I missed you so much!!" Riane gushed as a few more tears rolled down her cheeks.
Draco placed a kiss to her forehead and rested his against it again.
"I'll never leave you again." He whispered "I promise!"
And with that, he pressed his lips to Riane's once more and pulled her as tightly as their bodies would allow. When they finally parted for the last time, Draco noticed that Riane was shivering slightly, though she was obviously trying to hide the face. He noted her bare chest and shoulders and reasoned that she must be half froze to death.
He placed her back on the ground and removed his coat, draping it over her shoulders instead.
Riane slid her arms through the jacket and smiled up at Draco. He smiled back and Riane hugged him, laying her head on his chest. Draco's arms wrapped around Riane and pulled her tight to him as he rested his head on hers. All was right in the world again and Riane couldn't remember ever being so happy in her life.

After a while, the two heard someone clear their throat. Draco looked up over Riane and smirked when he saw the new arrival.
"I go out on a mission, risk my life for the good of mankind, and I have to come home to the likes of you at my house? Talk about spoiling a good day."
Riane looked up at Draco confusedly, then turned around to see who he was talking to. It was Harry
"Can it Malfoy, or I just might let people keep thinking you're scum."
Riane was shocked to see a smirk on Harry's face too.
"Um? Explanation please?" She said to the two men, referring to their playful banter. Harry's smirk faded to a grin and he laughed as he looked at Riane.
"I suppose you've met our hero then?" He said playfully. Riane gave him an odd look and he continued. "Well, I, of course was the one how actually killed Voldemort, but if it wasn't for this bloke here tipping him off for the last five years, we never would have got him. He didn't trust Snape after our seventh year at Hogwarts."
Riane was more confused than ever.
"But, I thought Ron..."
Harry smiled and shook his head.
"No. I looked at Ron like that because only him and I knew about Draco. It was too dangerous and risky to let anyone else know the truth. Especially you. If Voldemort came looking for and found you for some reason, we couldn't put you at risk of being involved with something like that. So we kept it between us... Though Hermione is gonna kill us for leaving her out."
Riane starred at Harry for a minute, the looked back at Draco.
"So, you were really working for the order of the Phoenix the whole time?"
Draco shook his head.
"No, not the whole time. At first I really was just a Death Eater, but when Koustave betrayed him, he threatened to murder all our families and loved ones if any of us betrayed him again. That was when I contacted Harry... I wasn't about to let anything to happen to you."
Harry nodded.
"Draco's been tipping us off for four years, but one thing or another always prevented us from moving in. It wasn't until last week that we finally got the chance."
Riane looked from Harry back to Draco again, then laughed and hugged him.
"My Hero!" She said playfully. Draco laughed and hugged her back. When they pulled away, Riane wrapped an arm around Draco's waist and leaned against him while his arm went around her shoulders and pulled her close. The two walked up to a smiling Harry and together they headed back into the house.

Riane looked at Harry and noted the nasty bruse forming on his face.
"I hope you don't expect me to apologise for that." She said, gesturing towards Harry's face. Harry felt his face and laughed.
"No, I don't expect you to. I suppose I should have told you about Draco before I announced anything to everyone else."
Riane smiled and threw her free arm around him.
"Yea, you should have. But it's all done now and I'm just glad to have him back."
Harry looked at Draco and grinned.
"Not sure I can say the same thing." He said playfully. Draco smirked and reached up to give Harry a smack to the head.
"Watch it Potter. The boy-who-lived isn't invincible."
Riane shook her head with a smile and snuggled closer to Draco. She couldn't have possible asked for a better Christmas present.
