Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or any of the characters used, just the plot and story.

I know, I know, another story from me, ohboy.
But this is an idea I've had for the longest time, before probably any other idea I had. I've been itching to write it, but could never really find a way to put it in words and actually like the outcome of it. Until now that is.
Yes I'm continuing "Heaven or Hell Sent?" but at the same time, when I get tired I'll probably switch to this one, or vice versa. Anyway, I do hope you enjoy reading this!

Chapter 1: Reminisce

She surpassed him, he expected it but nevertheless he was annoyed by it as well. Manipulating chakara had become her specialty, in more ways then one. Of course he wouldn’t let Orochimaru know that the pink haired girl surpassed his medical skills by far during the first two years, but her increase of studying people and their abilities had made her surpass him in battle too.

He cursed the day he allowed her to read up on the village of Fire’s new Hokage, Tsunade. Though he could still see, that even though she was stronger then she was when they had first arrived, that she had a huge flaw in her strength.

Endurance, she couldn’t last very long after a few big hits, of course she could heal the hits perfectly, but her ability to endure a hit and keep her eyes open during that was lacking. So even though she surpassed him in battle with a few chakara filled hits, she lacked on a real battle field. He came to the conclusion that the only reason she has won his battles, is because she studied his skills, from the beginning. In a real battle though, he doubted she would last more then a few moments without being knocked out cold.

Besides all that, as his student he couldn’t help but feel a bit of pride, she had turned out better then he expected. It had surprised him when the Uchiha had arrived with a pink haired girl tailing behind him like a lost puppy. The horror etched on her face as she heard the cries of people as they walked down the hallways.

She had broke down crying and the Uchiha had yelled for silence, and the room feeling his deep hatred and power, had immediately stopped crying out for them. Leaving the pink haired girl in tears as she quickly exited the room, the Uchiha in tow.

As much as they wanted to just shove the girl in a room and leave her, they could not. The Uchiha had kept a sharp eye out for her, and eventually the snake sannin had declared she would be Kabuto’s apprentice and study from him.

She had been hesitant for awhile, but that eventually faded and he was left with the young Uchiha’s huge hesitance allowing the girl out of his sight. Often when he and the Uchiha had made eye contact he would be greeted with a sharp foul glare, as a warning.

Do anything to her and I’ll tear you apart.

Was his clear warning, the nin chuckled at the thought.

It couldn’t be helped though, by the third year all those big and little flaws he had noted, had disappeared. No longer closing her eyes during battle, but as sharp as could be, watching every movement with extreme detail, and with insane strength and the use of medical skills during battle, she could send the biggest sound nin to his knees in pain.

The Uchiha had improved but his visits to her had become less frequent until he stopped visiting all together, because of the year long training mission Orochimaru had escorted him on. While Kabuto and Sakura remained in charge of sound during their absence.

Her infatuation for the Uchiha had become nothing but a simple friendship, or even just an acquaintance over the years.

The door opened quickly, making her jump slightly as she looked up from her book, tilting her head at the silver hair male as he adjusted his glasses.

“Sakura, Orochimaru has found one of his vessels alive, but barely.”

Standing up quickly she nodding, grabbing her bag of medical equipment from her small desk and followed after the silver haired male.

“Do you know his condition, Kabuto-san?”

She questioned, walking in stride next to him, twists and turns down hallways before they arrived in one room.

“Critical, his muscles have been torn, one lung is punctured, both arms are broken, his left ankle is swollen and infected from a long gash. His spine is fractured and all rips are broken.”

Kabuto opened the door to the room, where the injured male’s heart monitor beeped slowly, and then picked up pace again and returned to a slow pace. She noted that upon entering and walked over the many wires connecting to him.

He had a cloth covering his face and a breathing tube was inserted into his mouth while an IV remained in his left arm. His chest was covered in blood and the breathing machine seemed to be straining against something.

“Kabuto-san, can you please clean the blood up?”

She questioned, while setting her medical equipment on the small tray, unraveling it and running her fingers along each thing until she was sure they had been cleaned properly from last usage.

Working around the silver haired medic-nin, she pressed her hands against the injured man’s chest, a small green glow lit up her pale hands as she concentrated with her eyes closed. Running her hands along his chest as she gave him a full X-ray. Seeing in her mind’s eye the broken ribs, punctured lung, pulsing heart, and broken bones.

Removing her hands she opened her eyes, proceeding to tire her hair back with a simple bun.

“As always Kabuto-senpai, your accurate with the details in the x-ray.”

She stated, finishing her little hair crises so it wouldn’t get in her way as her bangs framed her face, which glowed against the many monitors in the room.

As the machine for the breathing tube increased slightly, she ran her hand over the injured male’s neck doing an examine.

“Who is he?”

She stated, breaking the eery silence that left them with just beeping and the pumping of machines.

“Kimimaro, apart of the Kaguya clan that was killed off during their declared war. Orochimaru found him when the war was over, and over the years trained him. Though he was infected with a disease that I don’t have any information on. What I do know is it causes his body to lapse into a coma, which is what we found him in.”

Clicking her tongue in response as she stuck her two fingers in the side of his mouth feeling his dry mouth.

“His throat is clogged with blood, and he’s got no saliva in his mouth. Kabuto-san, please put up a second IV in his right arm.”

The silver haired medic quickly disappeared into another room, leaving her alone with the male as she removed the breathing tube.

“I also need a bucket of water!”

She cried out, hoping he heard.

As he returned with a bucket of water and set it down on the table near her she placed her hand over it, her chakara seeping through her palm and gather water on it and holding it there. Quickly she brought the water toward his mouth dropping it in and proceeding to pull the water that infused with her chakara down his throat.

After a moment his body responded and he began to cough up the blood that had clogged his throat up. Spitting it out and over his chin she quickly wiped it up with a wet towel and inserted the breathing tube once more, which quickly went to work on providing the breathing for him.

“Any history of a bloodline limit?”

She asked, grabbing a scalpel from her medical equipment and placing it on the injured’s chest, proceeding to make a hole so she could work on his punctured lung.

“Yes, I’d have more information on it, if records of the Kaguya clan hadn’t been burned during the war incident. Though from what I’ve gathered over the years, his bloodline limit as of course, allows him to manipulate his bone structure, and produce new bones to replace broken ones in a second.”

Her eyebrows rose with amazement, but she remained silent as Kabuto wiped up the blood from the new wound.

The hours had gone by slowly, and her body was tired and weak from the amount of chakara she had to use just to stable the young male. Though now she was only working on the gash on his ankle, her hand incased in a small bubble of water as she pulled the bacteria from the wound.

When that was all said and done, she walked over to a sink and washed her hands down.

“Kabuto-senpai, with your permission, I would like to continue on Kimimaro’s case, and see if I can find a distinct illness.”

The silver haired male though for a moment, as he cleaned up the room.

“Sure, I’ll have someone drop off his medical file tomorrow morning.”

With a nod, she excused herself from the room and into the dark hallways, winding down each one before stumbling upon her room, which she opened and shut behind her quietly.

Her body ached with the thought of moving over to the bed, and her legs were exhausted from standing the entire time. She was used to standing for long periods of times, just not when she had to pour so much chakara and energy into just trying to stabilize one patient so his heart rate wasn’t going haywire.

She made her way to the couch, the second best thing and plopped down on it, ignoring the dry blood on her clothes, she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.
