A/N: This is a distraction from Those of Great Destiny. Plotbunnies attacked my brain all night, so here I am at 4:32 am, writing. D: Sleeeeep...

Sora pouted and folded his hands behind his head. "Man, I hate school! Why do they have assign us projects, anyway?"

"All you have to do is write a story, Sora," said Kairi. "It's not that hard!"

"It is for him, Kai," Riku replied, smirking. "He has to think to write, and you know that's not one of his strong points."

"Hey!" came Sora's indignant cry. "That's not true!"

"Oh yeah? Prove it!"

"Guys! Cut it out!"

"Sorry, Kairi..."

Golden eyes watched from the shadows, flitting over each person that walked by, searching. They came to rest on a boy in a white and blue uniform. At first, he seemed like the other children the eyes had seen walk past them, brown hair, blue eyes, not unusual in this place. The eyes started searching again, when they noticed a strange light around the boy. The eyes widened, then a cold smile spread across the face they belonged to.

"We have found you."

--

Late into the night...

"Argh!"

Sora threw down his pencil in frustration. "Stupid pencil! Make words!"

He got up from the desk, threw himself on the bed and frowned. How did the teacher expect him to write an ENTIRE STORY in only two days? His frown deepened. It was gonna take him forever just to come up with a good idea! He didn't have any inspiration! Nothing interesting ever happened on Destiny Islands...wait...

An idea suddenly occurred to him. LOTS of interesting stuff had happened on his adventures!

The brunet jumped up and sat back at the desk, frown now turning into a trademark grin. Now where to start...

A movement seen in the corner of his eye instantly stopped his work. Sora immediately unleashed his Keyblade and was on his guard. He turned toward the corner where he had seen the shadow.

"Who's there?!" He barely remembered to whisper, as to not wake his parents.

No response. The boy looked around the dim room, lit only by his desk lamp.

He tried again and stepped into the middle the room. "I said 'Who's there?'!"

"Do not be afraid."

Sora whirled to face a pair of glowing golden eyes. His instincts screamed, HEARTLESS!, and his body knew to attack.

The eyes gleamed, and Sora froze inches away from them.

Sora tried to cry for help, but his mouth clamped shut of its own will.

The golden eyes hovered in front of Sora's terrified cerulean ones, and the voice spoke again.

"Do not be afraid. You are going to help us, hero."

A hand touched Sora's neck, and all was lost to him.

A/N: That last part creeped me out. XD Sorry if I said “the eyes” too much.

So, yeah. This is to keep you distracted while I have writer's block for Those of Great Destiny. These updates might come a LITTLE faster, though, 'cause I'm gonna try and keep the chapters short.

So here I am at 5:39 am, now. Ew. I need sleep. KTHXBAI.

Edit: :D I gots mah sleep! Like I said, this will be randomly updated!
