A/N; Numero dos. I luff this thing.

Disclaimer; Does it seem like a thirteen year old with own the rights to LWD or any of these songs? Even if it does, I don’t own it.

1. Never Again – Kelly Clarkson

I really hated her. She had Derek, and I didn’t, of course that was a part of it.

The kind smiles were all fake, and we both knew it. She was a trophy wife, or, fiancé, as she was currently. She had no flaws, and I hated her.

Why he ever left me for her, I don’t know.

We dated in secret, and one day, he just broke it off – and in a letter, too. I never read it. I’d suspected it. He left me for Sally. If that wasn’t a punch in the gut, I don’t know what was.

I hope that frickin’ engagement ring turns her finger green, I really, really do. I hope he sees my face all the time. I hope he watches his world fall apart, and I hope he hurts knowing I’ll never come back. I’ll never believe him again. Never again.

(Ex-Dasey, Dally)

2. Show Me Love – t.A.T.u

Casey stared down at the picture of her and Derek from so long ago, as the phone in her hand rang.

She reflected on how her relationship fell. They loved each other. Was it wrong to have faith? Their love fell from their mindless, random mistakes. It was like they were idiots, playing a never ending game of pick up sticks that was always lost.

Derek picked up. “Hello?”

“Derek, I-”

“So what?” Derek questioned, and Casey’s eyebrows knit. “You don’t get it, I just-”

“So what?”

“…Why do you keep saying that?!” Casey yelled, silence filled the air.

“This is an answering machine…”

BEEP.

And the phone fell from Casey’s hands.

(Dasey, this one is confusing, but it’s the beginning part of Show Me Love, the phone call. Derek’s part is the Russian translation.)

3. Nature Boy – Moulin Rouge soundtrack

There once was a boy. A very strange boy.

He went many places, and no one quite knew him. He said his life fell apart, it didn’t want to come back together.

The old mischievous glint in his eyes was replaced with a sad look.

He spoke of many things, he could take anything and make an amazing story out of it.

“Trust me on this, the greatest thing you’ll ever learn, is just to love. And be loved in return. And not screw it up.”

(Who do you want it to be?)

4. Haunted – Kelly Clarkson

I miss him…”

I’d gone crazy, I was sure of it. I missed him and I hated him. I hated what they did to him, and I hated what I did to him.

I needed him.

I didn’t want him to leave me.

It wasn’t fair, I found him, and then something ripped him away. The last thing I saw of him was a smile. He smiled and that was it.

He killed me, and the last thing I saw was his smile.

I should’ve known. He was insane, but I loved him. Matt smiled down at me in my casket, and opened the small, sentimental locket in my hands, as if to break my heart.

(Matt/Casey. If you don’t want to be lightly spoiled, Tarryn, read this sentence no more! Because this was a part of version one of ‘Meribelle’.)

5. All The Things She Said – t.A.T.u

I wondered if my parents would forgive me. I was supposed to be a good girl, wasn’t I?

Instead, there I stood, walking hand in hand with my ex’s stepsister, headed nowhere in particular.

We hummed a soft song together as the rain beat down on our skin.

“Sal?” Casey asked me, I looked at her, and she spoke again. “What are we doing?”

I gulped. “I don’t know,” I admitted. “But I just want to be free.”

“Me too.” Casey mumbled, and I turned her around, hugging her, and the rain washed away the shame. I wanted to leave, get out of there. We’d lost our minds, but we didn’t care. I could almost hear my mother’s voice ringing in my ear, and I kissed Casey’s forehead. “It’s okay…” I said.

And Casey tried to let that repeat in her head.

(Cally? Salsey? Sally/Casey?)

6. Everybody’s Fool – Evanescence

A perfect, amazing, lie. That’s what he was.

Everyone followed Derek Venturi, everyone. He was the one that everyone knew. He ignored certain people and he hurt the others, like me.

You should see the way he is at home, he’s different. He’s not as sarcastic. I’ve seen the way he really is, I know him better than anyone, and I’ve only known him for a year. He’s not perfect, that mask he wears is nothing but a mask. Sometimes I think he can’t even find the real him, he lies to himself so much.

He’s betrayed me. He can’t save me. He’s everybody’s fool, and it’s his own fault. No one but himself.

(Derek, POV of random person. Maybe Casey?)

7. Cosmos(Outer Space) – t.A.T.u

Lizzie slammed the closet door behind her, and Edwin smirked as she pounced on him, locking the closet door. They hardly fit into it anymore, but it was theirs.

Movies didn’t show the reality of it all. Things happened that probably shouldn’t. Stories dive into it.

It had always been like this.

They were nearly in space. They didn’t wanna reach the ground.

They didn’t care, they went where they wanted to go, and did what that wanted to do. It was just Edwin and Lizzie. They were each other’s destinies.

They were meant for each other. They’d die and still be there.

(Lizwin.)

8. Weight of the World – Evanescence

Casey left herself when she got together with Max. She just wasn’t Casey anymore. She was an aid-headed, whiny girl. That wasn’t the person she knew.

When she left Max, she got herself back. She reflected on her time with Max and ranted to Lizzie or Nora or Emily, or even Derek about it. But she wouldn’t let the old her hold her down.

She was better than that.

That’s why, when Max try to get back together with her. She said, “You don’t believe in me. You changed me. That girl you dated means nothing to me. Let go of me, ‘cause you mean nothing to me, either.”

(Anti-Masey)

9. Grace Kelly – MIKA

She’d gone identity mad.

Was she blue, brown, violet, WHAT?! It seemed like she’d be whatever anyone wanted her to be. Max told her to be something, she did it. If anyone told her to do something, she did it.

Why didn’t they like her? Why didn’t they like themselves? Well, Casey McDonald wasn’t going to change for anyone anymore. She was free from everything once she turned eighteen.

Someone told her what to be, she walked out the door. She only wanted someone who would except her.

She never knew she would find that in her stepbrother, once they were in collage. “You don’t have to be anything for me. Come on, we’re leaving…”

“And where are we going?”

“You’ll see.”

(Dasey)

10. Iris – The Goo Goo Dolls

No one expected them. It was crazy. Lizzie was ashamed, Sam was ashamed. It hurt.

Sam faced Lizzie as they lay above the covers on Lizzie’s bed. Sam played with her hair. “I don’t want to miss you…” Sam mumbled.

“I don’t wanna miss you either.”

They were made to be broken, they knew that. They loved each other, and though the tears that spilled over Lizzie’s cheeks burned every time she realized that it couldn’t happen, when she realized no one woulde ever understand.

Derek and Casey? That was predictable. Sam and Lizzie weren’t they got stares, and that hurt. They loved each other so much, but they couldn’t let them see.

“When can we tell them?”

“We can’t.”

When everything’s made to be broken, they just wanted to know each other, no matter how hard they’d fall.

“I love you.” Lizzie sobbed.

“I love you too.”

(Sam/Lizzie)
